I came to this clinic, at my absolute wits end, as i was in constant, excrutiating back pain, due to a fall(and congenital scoliosis)I had pleaded with the NHS to help me, they seemed to exhaust every avenue, with no success😢I was on an unspeakable cocktail of painkillers DAILY, which i knew couldn't be good for me, but sadly, it was the only way i could get through the day! As a woman of 35, a mother of two young chikdren+a nursery teacher, aswell as me feeling so low constantly+my self esteem+confidence, rapidly going out the window- i knew this couldn't carry on!Since coming to see Amit, i have honestly never looked back, it has been one of the most worthwhile things, i have ever done, not only am i 99% pain free, i have not taken one painkiller, since my first adjustment- but i also appear to be standing straighter, than i have done in years, which i never ever thought could happen, but is obviously a massive bonus! This treatment, as a whole, has helped my emotional wellbeing immensely+finally, i feel like, i an getting the life back, i used to have...with a touch more happiness!!I'd highly recommend this clinic to anyone, who is suffering with any type of back pain- you won't regret it! After years of middle back pain, with many visits to various physios and regular sessions at the gym to try to strengthen my back, I woke up one morning with excruciating pain in my lower legs, which I assumed was shin splints. Went to the doctor's who told me I would need substantial time off work, as I had most probably "slipped a disc". In desperation and agony, I went against my long-held fear that chiropractic treatment was potentially very dangerous and hobbled my way into the clinic I had selected on the basis of online reviews, still high on the drugs freely dished out by my GP -who was doing her best with the resources available to her-. I walked out of the clinic and went for a 20-min stroll around town immediately after the first treatment, which was a little bit of a shock! I am now in my fourth month of treatment and these four months have reversed 5 long years of pain, with various issues found and being sorted in my lower back, middle back and neck. I am not there yet, but feel so much better already. I have only just recently realised my regular headaches seem to have gone and I have not taken any painkillers for my back for well over 3 months now. Result!

I’ve had lower back problems on and off for 30 years or more, the GPs were not helpful and the average osteopath didn’t really get to the root of the problem which left me with little faith in either.
I got used to disguising my pain and did whatever I thought was the best thing.
My job as a vehicle upholster and a keen gardener wasn’t the best chosen life style but I’ve coped the best I could with the pain, including sciatica and other self-inflicted injuries.
Now at the age of 57 my concern is the years ahead as I get older. What to expect?
Four months ago my lower back was very painful and sciatica struck again. Then my hip became a problem and I found it very difficult to walk, but being the stubborn person that I am I thought it would resolve itself, but a month later there was no change.
My daughter, who is having adjustments at the Spine Clinic for her back problems, has seen a huge improvement to her health and told me that this was my last resort and that there was nothing to lose.
But I did lose something. The back pain!!
After just three adjustments I felt much better and positive that things were going to improve. Four months on and the results are amazing. I’d never thought I’d be this far forward.
Dr Amit is extremely passionate about his profession and helping people recover. He studies your medical history so it is important to include all the relevant information in your consultation so your recovery plan is the best possible.

I had a one off acute spine problem with lower back from lifting after sweeping ! Knowing that GPS know little about back problems I went to Ipswich Spine Clinic after recommendation from a friend . The practitioner looked at my spine as a whole and quickly noted a long standing neck problem . Long story short . My spine was treated as a whole. I can now look side to side easily with no pain or restriction in my neck , a problem that I had accepted would never get better from a 10 year old injury. Plus my back is completely fine !

The Ipswich Spine Clinic and all of those employed are nothing short of exceptional. From bookings, diagnosis through to treatment, all is handled in a very professional manner. On top of the excellent service, personal and caring aftercare is also provided to ensure total understanding of side effects at all times. In addition to the aforementioned pros and arguably most importantly, the results of the treatment are without doubt superb. Dr Patel is an expert in the field of Chiropractic and I have recommended him to everyone that I know who has mentioned back and neck problems.

On my first visit I was x-rayed and scanned to find out my neck and spine was in terrible state due to a number of accidents and bad posture after my first session of treatment I could feel the difference now after further treatment I feel 100 percent better.i would recommend them to anyone in pain

I suffered a prolapsed disc in the mid nineteen eighties and on subsequent occasions over the years had fairly major muscle spasms.
I visited various specialists over a long period of time with little success
of along term cure.
In April of this year I visited Amit at the Ipswich Spine Clinic and underwent
several realignment sessions. At first I was a little sceptical as I suffered more frequent spasms accompanied by a great deal of pain. This was mainly due to the chronic nature of my condition and my spine reacting to the fairly radical changes that it was experiencing.
In time however the treatment meant that my spine was now in better shape and eventually the spasms and pain became less frequent. After 4 months my condition has improved to the extent that I am now visiting the clinic every 4 weeks only to keep matters in check.
I still have to be careful with certain movements but my general mobility and pain levels are much improved.
In time I am hoping that I will have no setbacks at all. I would recommend anyone with chronic or acute problems relating to the spine to visit the clinic and be patient in the early stages and give the treatment a chance to improve the condition.

After experiencing a combination of lower back pain which consisted of inflammed, sore, irritated joints, muscles and nerves for 12 years, the Ipswich Spine Clinic was my last option. It should have been my first as only after 5 months of treatment by Dr Amit Patel, I haven't felt this well, physically and mentally for a decade. I'd seen the adverts in the local paper and thought 'that sounds too good to be true' and 'I can work this out myself'. I'm 33 and never had any back problems as a child or young adult - i couldn't work it out. I put it down to various things like my height, weight, job choice, shoes, exercise, diet, and even trawled through the internet and self-help books looking at disorders. After 11 visits to a chiropractor having my back cracked, accupuncture, yoga, meditation and numerous visits to doctors and mental health professionals I was prescribed prozac to help me cope.
After contacting the Spine Clinic and thoroughly completing a 4 page questionnaire, I had my consultation, x-ray, spine scan and follow-up appointment to discuss results and findings still thinking 'this is too good to be true'!
Amit and his team are the most professional, caring and friendly people, and the whole experience has been a massive insight and learning curve into our complex bodies. I can't thank them enough.
The most interesting outcome has been piecing everything together. My x-rays and scan revealed a tilted pelvis (forward and higher on the right side), my lower spine had shifted forward 5mm and had a curve, and the upper area had moved back, so this meant i had one leg longer than other, an inflexible lower spine and over-stretched muscles down the right side of my back. The only thing I could put it down to was falling heavily on my toe in 2003. The turnaround in my health has been incredible, after suffering numerous on-going symptoms. My treatment is still continuing and i'm looking forward to enjoying the rest of my life - thanks to Ipswich Spine Clinic.

Having had years of terrible back and hip pain due to different leg length,i am now pain free, i feel like a new person. i would highly recommend The Spinal Clinic. Excellent Service. Money well spent.

The opportunity to have your problem x-rayed and scanned gives you confidence in the treatment - seeing is believing, and helps understanding.

As a naturally impatient person I expected my body to be fixed as quickly as we would fix a machine! Amit was honest and open with me throughout my treatment - initially more intensive and frequent and now once a month to maintain the progress over the last eighteen months.
From where I started this journey, I am massively more comfortable with every movement and would say I'm back to 90% movement and strength compared to before my accident.
Be a patient patient - the improvement does come but listen to Amit!

I am a 67 year old lady who has suffered years of back ache and pain from old injuries and wear and tear. Visits to g.p and physios did not help . After lifting a grandchild into the car my spine eventually locked so i was in severe pain. I was able to get a very prompt appointment. After the first adjustment i was able to walk upright and felt so much better. I had a course of 12 treatments and now i can do all the things i love like walking 5 to 8 miles regularly ,gardening, bowling, dancing & lead a normal life.
