The knowledge put forth is invaluable. Instructor Lancaster does an incredible job explaining each segment. I truly appreciate this class for knowledge personal and academically.

The instructor carefully explains the different shades of meaning in Hebrew words, and does it in a way that is easy to understand.

I have only had excellent experiences with these courses. They have given me so much new insight into the Torah and into the Scriptures and also into myself. I appreciate the syllabus but also the extra insights that the lecturers have given and shared with us. A positive experience all around. Thank you.

I'm currently in Hebrew C. My professor, Dr. Janet Jerrow, is a superb teacher. She is so patient and kind. The class is interactive and challenging. It's also incredibly enjoyable, thanks to her. I had the privilege of studying Hebrew B with Dr. Janet, and I feel that this training has prepared me well for the rigors of this higher level of Hebrew training. Hebrew C is rigorous--it's the world of irregular/weak verbs now--but the textbook routinely breaks up the more challenging grammatical material with the hands-on practice of reading and translating passages from the Bible. From this, we gain direct insight into the history and context of those words, which is always amazing. You have to be willing to put in the time and practice and be patient with your own learning process--yes, there will be plenty of mistakes--but that's how you learn, and great teachers like Janet will support you at every step through that process. This is a great course and well worth your time and effort.
An excellent course, taught by an Israeli living in Poland. I enjoy it immensely. He has us read out loud, so it's also interactive.

I am loving exploring the biblical land of Israel. The class is extremely fascinating and the fact that we participate in the class makes it that much better. Dr. Jarrow has a way of allowing you to participate and by doing so, you learn that much more because you're focused on not only what you're reading, but what you're reading about because it literally puts you in the land that you're discovering. It's very interesting to learn that way. I wish other classes were that way and not just a direct teaching but more of a Hands-On learning process. But I love the way Ms. Janet teaches.

The background lessons have provided a wonderful insight into the history and overview of the land and culture; the language courses opened up a greater understanding to not only being able to read and translate the texts, but understand and appreciate the nuances, meanings, and cultural influences. Its hard work, but fun.

I love the courses and the teaching. All my teachers are superb. Wish I could try the others as well in time to come. They are all encouraging and no question is “stupid” . Very good and exceptional guidance from all

Stephen Carver is a methodical sympathetic tutor. He breaks the grammar down into manageable parts making it easier to understand. The course material itself is ok but if it is well-taught by the 30 weeks, your reading of Biblical Hebrew will progress and you’ll be able to muddle your way through many texts of the OT without a dictionary.

A great and informative course. I’ve loved the extra info regarding the times of the New Testament - it is not always easy to assimilate if one is a dogmatic character but there are really lovely lecturers and easy to chat to. My only criticism is that there needs to be more time to ask questions. Otherwise I’ve enjoyed it a great deal.

I have a very variable work schedule, as I am an ER doctor. I download the lessons and study on my own at my own pace. The course is excellent, easy to follow, and very educational.
