Never Again
Wish I could leave a massive minus rating..Absolutely appalling customer service. I, too, didn't receive the 15% sign up email code until several emails and days later by which time I'd put in two orders to be delivered to me at home via UPS. One order arrived late and the other seemed to go to Athens and then start its journey to me in SW London. Eventually, after three weeks, I asked to cancel the order and be issued a refund. At first they said they couldn't cancel, the order had to come to me and I return it. I persisted and they eventually rerouted the order back to them. However, they repeatedly advised that they are not able to issue a refund that until the package arrives back with them. Even when it's coming via a courier company. We're talking about £40.75. Today, a month later, I received yet another useless/unhelpful message from Customer Services informing me that they were, to quote, :...opening a file as we will let you know everything as soon as we will have an outcome." I sent a further response saying that I didn't care about the outcome, I just wanted a refund of my £40.75. This is something I thought they would have done immediately as the entire problem was nothing to do with me. Absolutely zero, dreadful customer service. The irony that they end all correspondence with the line "We are always at your disposal" seems to be totally lost on them! I wrote to Management - no response. Today, I opened a case with Paypal and received an immediate refund. That's how to run a company and how to treat a customer and Paypal are not even at fault, just the 'middle man' so to speak. Full of praise for them Never, ever again will I buy anything from Benetton.
I never received my package
I never received my package. There is no way to contact Benetton and the website gives a 404 error.
Refusal to refund without any evidence as to why
Second time I've ever written a review but I felt I had to - similar to some other people here - they only partially refunded me. I literally tried the items on once, repackaged in their original packaging really carefully, and they've refused to refund me for £120 of items. It's absolutely appalling for a supposedly ethical and well known company. Will never buy from them again.

I ordered a denim jacket from Benetton. And they sent the wrong item- a child’s pink coat. I messaged and they asked to send pictures as proof, I did. Then I was told I had to send clearer picture of the label, to make sure it was the wrong item… I order a black adult denim jacket and sent pictures of a pink padded jacket for a 3-4 year old…
I was told to return it and then I would get my refund for the originals order in 14 days. They would not send what I ordered, I would have to reorder again. It’s been 3weeks and still no refund. Yet they took payment for the original within 24hrs! Do not shop online, they are disorganised and you will be left out of pocket.

Long story short, I didn't receive the 15% signup bonus as promised, due to their glitchy system.
Hours have passed after I was supposed to get the email with the coupon code, and I was running out of time since there were only 2 pieces left of the item I needed. I placed the order, thinking I'd call in and ask for the discount. Being that it was on a Sunday, I had to wait for the next business day.
I spoke to two of their customer service agents, one being more unhelpful than the other.
Working hand-in-hand with the customer service director for a larger e-commerce business, I know all about customers being entitled and sometimes rude. So it was almost comical the way they treated me. Reacting to everything I said as if I was the one being rude and they were so ready to "put me in my place".
One of them even mentioned, "integrity" and "ethics" which was so ironic, because what bothered me more than my $70 was their lack of integrity. And that's what prompted me to write this review. I hope I am able to spare situations like this for others.
Accuse customers of lying. Disgusting
Accuse customers of lying. Ordered 3 items online kept 1, returned 2 immediately all in exactly the same condition I received them in. A MONTH later they advise that the coat was not in an acceptable condition and send me a photo of a small, brown, worn, washed coat, the actual coat was navy and large!
Endless back and forth with customer service who do not answer questions properly, are rude and treat you as a criminal. I asked paypal to intervene and have now received my refund. Its very upsetting to be accused of lying due to the errors in their warehouse operation. Will never shop here again.

Other high street retailers manage this within five working days. The three stars is for the girl who dealt emphatically with my complaint. The other areas are awarded zero stars. Also, original order took significantly longer than I expected to arrive. My advice, buy elsewhere!
Awful customer service - glitchy website and then you can't process returns
I thought Benetton was a quality company but seems they are really lacking in the customer service department. I ordered a number of items online on the USA website. I did like the majority of items from them however a couple of the items are a completely wrong size. This is when the issue comes up - I went on their website to process a return and was greeted with a 404 error - followed by the submit button not working. By the time I received a reply back from their customer service department my 14 day time frame to submit a return was up and now they are refusing to process my return. This is completely unfair that because their website glitched I can't return my clothing. In the year 2022 this is a really bad customer service experience.
Zero stars for zero delivered items
I would give this sad and disappointing experience 0 stars, if I could. Zero stars for zero delivered items. That were paid for. More than 5 weeks ago.
I received a confirmation of order, a note stating that the delivery will take longer, a confirmation of shipment, track and trace number,... When two weeks passed since my purchase and the parcel still didn't arrive I wrote an email asking when I can expect the delivery and got a generic response that they are verifying my case. Another week passed and I wrote another email and got another reply saying that they are verifying further.
I then called the Post and it took me less than 10 minutes to learn, that they electronically reserved the package number, but the Post never received the physical parcel from Benetton.
I then called Benetton in Italy and a very concerned and sorry lady said that the only thing she can do is send an email to the IT department. And this has now been going on for another two weeks. She told me today that there is nobody in charge to whom she can forward my call and I should just keep calling and she will keep sending emails to their IT department.
So it's been approximately 5 weeks since they have my money and it looks like they have no intention to resolve this situation. They take customers' money, don't issue an invoice, don't deliver goods, offer no way of fair communication. I am simply shocked - a company that supposedly puts so much EFFORT into its good image!
Reading all these reviews and knowing my experience, I can see that I am not the only one being swindled here. I intend to report this further and will for sure never shop at this store ever, ever again.

WOW, the mighty power of Trustpilot. I received an answer I was expecting for 5 weeks in a matter of minutes when I wrote this review. I am to expect a refund in a couple of days... And they are sooo sorry for my experience, they are offering a 10% discount on my next purchase, which I find insulting. THE TRUST IS GONE. Its either they are stupid or think that I am stupid, in either case this "relationship" is over. It's sad really, its as if they are cutting the very branch they are sitting on with this attitude. Never again.
Don't buy online!
Simply disappointing service.
After 15 days that I returned the product they sent me an email saying that they need to verify the conditions of the return then I will receive an email in a matter of days with the results of the check. Honestly it start to look as a scam. Where is my refund? Utterly disgusting, that a big company as Benetton needs to make this kind of tricks.

It's been just 2 and 1/2 year I bought a leather jacket worth Rs 5,000 from my nearby United Colours of Benetton showroom (from Silchar Goldighimall store , Assam , India ) I hardly wore it for 6-7times in the parties.
Its very surprising that my jacket's skin is splitting off and tearing . It's really a matter of great disappointment . In this cases what is the point of buying such expensive clothes from this renowned brand if they aren't able to maintain the quality of their product and selling fake products. Now I feel that buying false leather jackets from footpath stores is just equal to buying an expensive jacket from their branded showroom. I had a very bad experience. I will never suggest anyone for this brand anymore

Purchased jumper as a Christmas present for my brother on 14 Dec 21 - delivered around 18 December 21
Brother was ill with covid over Christmas and therefore I didn’t find out that jumper was wrong size before Bennetton’s deadline of 03 Jan 22 for online return.
Customer service line routes you straight to service desk in Italy where I have spoken to a very unhelpful person - told there is no way to return this item or exchange even though it’s in original condition and despite extenuating circumstances of both Christmas Period and covid illness even with proof.
Pointed out to to customer services that there was no way that I would ever have been able to adhere to this strict return policy as time frame here is too tight - hollow apologies offered but no advice given just that i have missed the boat.
Advised that this rigid return policy applies to online purchases only and not in store - apparently you get a different return policy if you purchase items in store in UK as stores are franchised.
I have never heard of anything like this before and unfortunately it has now cost me!

Confusing/complex and time limited return process.
I wish I had read these reviews before I made a purchase from Benetton.
A very unclear return process meant I missed the step of emailing the return request within 14 days. After buying some Christmas presents, including one item where I got 2 sizes as unsure of fit, I went on holiday thinking I still had plenty of time to return before the 28days as advertised. On my return I attempted to complete the confusing paperwork and being unsure called their customer service line to be told I had missed the 14 day period to notify them by 2 days - they were completely inflexible quoting their T&Cs. I asked to escalate and was told to do online, which offered very limited characters in a ‘contact us’ form. I am still awaiting their response but am not hopeful! This is a complete scam which clearly catches out a lot of shoppers. Benetton are profiteering from poor return instructions and hiding behind T&Cs for their own gain. I will never purchase from this company again.
Terrible service and return procedure
I have tried to submit a return to Benetton. I sent the package and completed the documents within 14 days but apparently I also have to complete a return form online as well. Since I missed that step, a month later fedex sent me the package back from Italy since it got denied and now Benetton won’t take the package because it’s over 14 days.
It’s worth mentioning that initially when I sent the package to fedex and I called Benetton, the representative didn’t mention that the package won’t be accepted. She offered to do the online form for me and yet the package got denied. All I heard from the manager, it’s a policy from the company in Italy there’s not much I can do for you. My mistake cost me around $400 but thank you.
If a US customer is buying from the United States, you need to let them know about the return policy prior to ordering. Some of us never dealt with international customs and paperwork.
Virtually accusing me of fraud
I ordered 4 items from Benetton, all of which had to be returned as they were too big. I've returned stuff before, no problem. But this time they say only 2 items arrived at their warehouse, everything I say is ignored, they say the package wasn't interfered with (how do they know?) and they will only refund half my money. I weighed the parcel, noted it on a return sheet, and placed the document inside, which confirms all items were there! It is like talking to a brick wall. They are virtually accusing me of fraud, and won't consider that another point in the chain for return is likely to have a problem. I have emailed the CEO, I am so unhappy and upset about this. I will never buy from them again. I bought on my credit card so may have recourse there under S.75, but I am still desperately upset.

I would not give this company one star but I have to to leave a review. Do not purchase from this store if you have any intention of returning an item. Unless your return gets to them within exactly 14 days you will not receive a refund. They are the most unreasonable retail outlet that I have ever dealt with and I will NOT be buying from them again. Quality of knitwear is not good either.

Terrible Service, I bought a jumper washed it once as per the instructions and it fell apart. Having sent it back they tell me that I washed it at a higher degree than I stated? So what was the point of sending back if they were not to believe me. Never again.
