Slow, sooooo slow…

So it takes forever to get a programme up to watch and to binge watch something is actually painful as it reboots itself between each episode. I’m sick of it

A rubbish platform - don't waste your time

I only registered and started using the service a couple of days ago and have already become totally fed up with it. It simply does not work. As countless reviews have already mentioned, the screen frequently goes blank after the ad break and whatever you were watching does not resume. Also, if you're watching a series, and are actually lucky enough to be able to get to the end of a particular episode, the next time you switch to Itvx to watch the next episode, it'll jump an episode to the one after. For example, if you finished watching episode 3, and then subsequently return to Itvx to watch episode 4, Itvx will take you to episode 5. The user interface is awful and the whole experience leaves you frustrated. There are some great shows and programmes on Itvx. It's just a pity that they've ended up on such an incompetently put together and rubbish platform.

The worst App ever.

It freezes constantly,switches itself off,crashes and in short.IT DOESN'T WORK.
Don't waste your time.Watching live TV is impossible as you miss so much due to all of the above issues.
Does ITV actually read any of the dreadful reviews.
If so why don't they get it sorted.

Not more advertisements!!

I have just watched The Hunting Wives. Really good series but absolutely ruined by the cramming in of advertisements, particularly in the later episodes. Every few minutes a Post Office advert plus many others. It completely impinged upon a a really good drama.
Probably why Netflix leaves ITVX for dead.

ITV X is the worst channel I have ever used, it’s like going back to the old days with buffering and very poor quality. You can’t even go back to where you left off awful channel. I will have to wait for the programmes to go on ITV as I will not be using again !!

Don’t pay for it!

Paid subscription to eliminate adds is not true! In fact they torture you even more by putting the trailers on instead of the stuff you have already watched before putting the exact same trailers on every single time over and over again. I’m out!

Terrible. Not a digital service

Three times during watching the Carabo cup it said "lost network".
OK that can happen, eventhough no issues on my network.

Each time I had to restart from scratch and wind forward - well almost until it lost internet again - even though on LAN
Third time it restarted at "90 m +"
1,. Why no restart point available
2, Why show previous games rather than latest ??

Absolutely Terrible Streaming Platform!

Absolutely rubbish streaming platform with so many issues that should really have been addressed by now, especially with all the negative reviews it has received on Trust-pilot.
It constantly buffers, crashes, loses where you are in a series, often playing the previous series rather than the next one or goes back to the first series, and this happens whilst watching them in a block.
The adverts are are far too constant, although you can pay for the upgrade to be ad-free, which I most definitely would not do until they have sorted out all the existing problems!
Surely somebody at ITVX has seen all the thousands of one star reviews by now and brought it to the attention of those who could do something about it.

This is my second review

This is my second review, and I'm lowering my score from 4 down to 3.

I've been a Premium subscriber since the start. There are now NO extra cinema films available to Premium subscribers; the final two, which were both Monty Python films have now been removed. There also seems to be no new Britbox content.

Also, I've noticed that an increasing number of dramas now contain breaks for a trailer. As an example, Downton Abbey always used to be a Premium title and was break free. However, since the 1st November it's been available to everyone and on Premium, it now has breaks. Annoyingly, the same half dozen or so trailers keep being shown.

I TVX want the viewer to subscribe. They make free to view very difficult. My example is this- iwantedtowatch programme 5 Series 1 ofborderline . First attempt 5 mins of adverts then different series. Second attempt 5 minutes advertsthen borderline but episode one. Third attempt 5 minutes adverts then episode 4. Fourth attempt 5 mins adverts then episode 5.

Extremely poor streaming service.

Extremely poor streaming service. Will not load, constantly buffers if it does, many blank periods especially around adverts and repetative ads. This makes trying to watch anything that has been on ITV almost impossible to catch up.
Needs remedial work by the company!

Truly Dreadful

Truly Dreadful, frustrating in the extreme. I wonder if the paid version is any better - not that I would. I suppose they think they can give free version users a pile of dross. Technical issues galore, have to keep restarting the programme which sometimes works, mostly doesn’t. Also it is device specific so you most definitely don’t have a seamless experience across platforms. I have nightmares about the domino ads and the Viking cruises interstitials. I’m trying to find out who did it in an episode of the brilliant Foyle’s War. honestly ITV.

I signed up to ITVX Premium at £5.99 per month. The first series went well ' no ads. But the second series is making up for it. Ads every 5 minutes. I searched for series I wanted to watch and nearly all show ads. It is a con. Avoid!

To many often crass adverts which you only remember because they are such tripe. Two thirds of the content is the type that has you reaching for the remote. The inability to fast forward without paying doesnt sit well. Dominoes should be ashamed of themselves.
