Do not publish true reviews

I left a negative review for a bad experience with a dr that should be a warning to others, this site did not publish it , utter nonsense site of fake reviews

Fails to Publish Negative Reviews & Removes other reviews without warning

The site removes negative feedback that is published without informing the reviewer or else refuses to use publish at all. They even state they won't publish if you have complained about the doctor formally - this site is therefore very skewed and does not allow for accountability of doctors questionnable therefore if the any of the reviews can be relied upon at all, as only the "good" reviews are shown!!!

Very biased reviews

Like most people here I can state categorically that 'Iwantgreatcare' will not publish a negative review, even when it is 100% legitimate.
The best thing to do if you have a genuine concern or complaint about your practitioner or private care provider is to contact ISCAS directly, if you have already complained to your immediate care provider and they haven't dealt with your complaint adequately. Check if your provider subscribes to their code of practice which most of them do, and if so you have more chance of getting some satisfactory result from any complaint you have.
Most people aren't aware of ISCAS and of course, the private Healthcare providers don't want you to know about them, but they are the people to go to. Don't waste your time with these sham medical review sites.
No doubt they will respond to my review and say " hey Wayne, thanks for your feedback. Rest assured we publish all negative reviews that people post as long as they stay within the guidelines ".
Here is my response to that. "Yeah yeah whatever. Shove it. Not interested. Pull the other one.

Awful website that doesn't give patients an honest voice!

Website who will publish your reviews if they are good only.

I have tried to leave very honest reviews about the Dr's in my care that nearly killed me. But I want great care won't publish them. The NHS has a huge cover up culture and people are dying daily at the lack of care. There's no where to go to get help due to this cover up culture. And this website won't even let you leave an honest review!! Truly awful! If I didn't know better I would say they are being paid off by the NHS!
Should be ashamed!

While i was reading iwantgreatcare…

While i was reading iwantgreatcare reviews i noticed the ones rated 1* had really positive feedback written, which didnt make any sense, and it appeared they had been changed or edited, as how could so many people have made the mistake of clicking 1* instead of 5?
When i came across the Dr from my practice who had 3 excellent reviews on there, but is the person responsible for destroying my life through clinical negligence resulting in leaving me with stage 4 Cancer and severe anxiety and depression for the last 10 years, and resulting trauma i can never get over, i decided to write my own honest review in great detail and backed it up with facts.
If its not bad enough that a Drs practice is able to cover up medical negligence and lie on complaint responses to make all their Drs appear like shining stars, then to find your review hasnt been published leaves you with no hope at all.
Getting rid of NHS England and letting local ICBs run from council premises to handle your complaint, was the worst thing they could ever do. My ICB doesnt answer the phone or look into anything or help with any advocacy needed. There is literally nowhere to complain to. Pals, hospital trusts, CQC, Healthwatch, NHS or council run 'mental health support services' etc will all make some excuse not to get involved.
I am in horrific pain, unable to sleep, severely depressed, barely eating or functioning anymore. I have lost all confidence in any Dr i see, as year after year i have asked for help, a referral, a specialist, pain relief, counselling, mental health or social services help, physio etc and have also had shocking treatment at a local hospital, but noone cares or even listens to your symptoms then they're able to wrongly prescribe and diagnose. Theyre the professionals and you are just a number.
This site prevents you from being able to share true experiences and what is really happening in our NHS, and is another example of how so many of us are denied a voice and left to cope on our own, just sufferring.

I had complete confidence in Mr

I had complete confidence in Mr. Chou and his team helping with my hip replacement and the continuing aftercare, from the nurses who looked after me and the physiotherapists who got me on my feet and walking ( including Mo, who I saw as an outpatient) to the ladies who brought me my meals and the ladies who changed the towels. Everyone was kind and polite.

Don't waste your time on this con site.

Don't waste your time on this con site.
Don't expect a phone call back.
This is a con site for doctors and hospitals to have only fantastic reviews can't even guarantee that all the fantastic write-ups are genuine. You are better off going straight to the CQC Care Quality Commission   03000 616161 if you don't get any satisfaction from the complaints procedure at doctors or hospital that you have a problem with. CQC will fix or close any place that's not going to get its act together.THis site makes $11 million per year.

Aiding and abetting corrupt doctors

I concur with what others have said. Several years ago I left one or 2 factual but negative reviews which were published.
But in recent years,my factual negative reviews were not published. Out of curiosity, I nosed around and lo and behold, my old reviews have gone!
Iwgc used to be a fair review platform and the most credible since everyone knows the NHS Choices site is corrupt.
What a shame that iwgc has also become corrupt.

As far as I'm concerned, it makes them complicit, they are aiding and abetting corrupt corrupt doctors who destroy lives.
Now we can't even warn others to help stop them falling prey to corrupt, incompetent doctors.

Very poor - corrupt service

Very poor. Only publishes positive reviews of doctors. Not an accurate place to go to for reviews. Wouldn't trust any of the reviews I read on there.

They will only accept good reviews

They will only accept good reviews and will reject bad reviews, i.e. (quoting them) "k. not give us information which: causes or is likely to cause damage or serious harm to anyone’s good name or reputation;"Which means that the bad doctors are protected from comment....and in reality would mean that THE Dr Shipman would not have had a bad review.
In addition, they also reject non-recent reviews, i.e. (quoting them) "o. you consulted or were treated by that doctor, dentist or hospital or you used that practice, pharmacy, care home, medical centre, service or medicine during the last 6 months"....which means that if you later (after 6 months) found out that the treatment you were given was wrong, then again, your comments are excluded. I think the site is a sham from the patients perspective. You have to ask yourself how they make their money....it is from doctors........
(I also suspect that many of the reviews are false, but I can't prove it, e.g. I have seen three oncologists in my hospital but only one gets reviews...why?

Dr Donnelly a disgrace

Dr Donnelly a senior psychiatrist consultant at Ballendon House Edinburgh lied in her notes and gave me a wrong diagnosis and then turned agressive . I latter found out that she applied non of the background checks and investigation , that a decent Psychiatrist would have. In order to conclude with a diagnosis. When I asked for a copy of my notes she ignored my official letter. I was given a wrong diagnosis and obstructed from making a complaint in time by NHS Lothian. This vindictive narcissist pausing as a Psychiatrist has also ensured that I can't get a second opinion elsewhere , as it will obviously embarrass her and call into question her appalling unprofessional conduct. I should have been given a diagnosis of ADHD and supported with a proper treatment plan . Dr Donnelley laughed like an evil itch when I tried to ask for help or at least therapy. When I tried to review and warn others on I want GG they needless to say forbid my review. They don't want GG for people they want positive reviews for Dr's

A great website for leaving feedback

This is a great website for patients, healthcare users and healthcare staff.
It is well moderated and any issues are promptly sorted by helpful staff.
I had recent experience of this and would like to thank Claire Taylor for her efficiency in dealing with my query.

Umbilical hernia repair.

I had an umbilical hernia repair surgery by Surgeon Alexander Hotouras in July 2022. I'm glad I relied on his expertise advise to get it done in order to avoid strangulation. He went on to repair one but actually found two and both were successfully repaired.
It was a successful surgery and I made a rapid healing.
I experienced an excellent treatment and am pleased with a neat job that he did.
The entire team of Mr. Hotouras, the Nurses including the Anesthetist were extremely caring.
I want to say a big thank you to him and his fantastic team.
I'm grateful.

Very useful website with helpful team

An incredibly valuable website to leave reviews about your healthcare. Very helpful and prompt response to queries. Unfortunately, not all doctors yet have been reviewed which limits the information available for patients - hopefully this will improve with time.
