Zip problems

I paid £185 for coat, from day 1 the zip has been a nightmare to fasten. For this price I certainly expect the zip to be first class.

Absolutely dreadful service I ordered…

Absolutely dreadful service I ordered several items in the sale and had a confirmation email straight away then nothing for 10 days I tried to contact them via the chat bot but it doesn’t work so only way is via email, I emailed 4 times before I got a reply advising had now been shipped. I then got an email saying had been shipped and should receive 2-4 days and a tracking no for parcel force. Everytine I put the tracking no in it said no status and is now 10 days since and nothing so again Iv emailed the company 3 times and finally got a response addressed to Ivana which is not my name. It says it seems to be lost and I have to fill in a claim form so that they can investigate and if they happy will refund eventually. I’m livid this was birthday money id used. I wish I’d known about theses reviews I normally always check companies out before ordering on line but it’s JACK WOLFSKIN supposed to he reputable. They are clearly corrupt judging by every other review which are almost all the same experience.

Today is the 5th working day

Today is the 5th working day that I've been waiting for my purchase. I used the live chat to talk to someone about my order and I was informed that its not been distributed yet and still at warehouse and kindly reminded me delivery is between 5-7 working days. I also reached out via Instagram to have a moan about how dated the company is. I thought I ordered with enough time for my kids waterproof trainers to get to me time. Adding to my misery, I can't even cancel my order! I need to wait until they arrive and then send them back.

Useless customer service, slow delivery, tiny return window

Ordered a coat that was in stock 8 days before my wife's birthday. It arrived after 9 days (so missing her birthday) and by then we had gone away for a fortnight. On our return the item was the wrong size so contacted customer service about a return. They have a 14 day return window and it was now outside that window and while they were polite, they refused to allow the item to be returned for an exchange or refund.

Nice product but incompetent (that's being generous) service

I ordered 3 items costing over 400 GBP. No tracking mechanism, goods took weeks to arrive. I finally chased them and miraculously the goods arrived 3 days later. I then returned 1 item (the most expensive one). No refund so again I chased them. Again (after chasing) they confirmed that they had received my return but logged it as the wrong item (the cheapest one on the order). They have refunded the money for the cheapest item but still owe me over 100 GBP of the item I actually returned. No response to my emails now. It strikes me as either incompetent or fraudulent the way they manage their deliveries and returns.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. No way of contacting customer service they don't respond to emails. I have paid for the goods and several weeks later they send me an email to say they have been dispatched. However Royal Mail are not tracking this and I still have no goods and no way of getting my money refunded.

RUBBISH DELIVERY SERVICE

I ordered 2 beanie hats and it took 2 weeks for them to arrive. Parcelforce were terrible, no details on the tracking at all until they had attempted delivery while I was out then they told me that they had taken
them to a nearby post office but also gave me the opportunity to have them redelivered the next day, which I did, but they didn't arrive so I rang the post office to see if they were still there and then had to get someone to collect them for me.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Poor Customer Service and Returns Shocking!!! Tried to cancel within seconds of ordering and when they finally replied 5 days later they said it was too late, but it still took them 7 more days to dispatch!!! Refused delivery and now the parcel is still sat in the courier delivery office awaiting their instruction. Jack Wolfskin are no longer replying to my emails and I'm now with out any good and fighting to get my money back. I will have to go through my credit card to get a charge back! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I would give zero star if possible,my…

I would give zero star if possible,my delivery arrived later than expected and then was not suitable so returned same day,tracking parcel with parcel force shows parcel delivered 3 days later,absolutely no contact from company to confirm this,no sign of refund. Unable to contact them,3 emails so far with just an automated response saying we are busy,live chat doesn't work!Absolutely appalling! Will be reporting to trading standards if not heard by next week, will never buy online with them again,wish I had seen these reviews before I did!

Boycot Jack Wolfskin. Do not buy from them !

Please do not purchase any items from Jack Wolfskin unless you want to be disappointed.
Jack Wolfskin is a bad and dishonest company. They will take your money from you but will not provide a refund if you return any items. Be warned and do not make the same mistake that myself and other customers have made.
I returned two items over 4 weeks ago and am still waiting for a refund.
I have emailed Jack WolfSkin two times and also called but had no reply.
If you do not believe this is correct then please visit the Jack wolfskin website and click on the live chat.
It doesn't work !!
This is because they do not want to deal with all the customer complaints.

If I receive my refund and an apology then I will amend my review but until this happens please support all the customers waiting for refunds and DO NOT purchase any items from Jack Wolfskin.

Would give zero stars if possible.
Terrible service and experience with them from the start, placed an order which took over 2 weeks to arrive, I sent multiple emails to request an update and still to this day haven't had a response. I have attempted to use the live chat which they advertise which doesn't work/exist, I have attempted phoning which also doesn't exist and I have filed a complaint several times to which have also not been responded to. I ordered 2 jackets and have returned one, I sent the item back and have tracked it since and have seen it has been received, I have not received a refund for my item and have attempted to email multiple times and had no response. When reading the reviews they provide different emails addresses to get in touch with them - I have emailed on all of them and had no response. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering as it is clear that this is a regular experience.

Avoid at all costs

Item was not despatched for almost 2 weeks despite showing as in stock. As I needed the item in the meantime, I contacted them to cancel my order and request a refund. The only communications I have received from them have been via automated acknowledgement of my messages emails, but nothing from an actual person. Despite requesting cancellation, they sent the item anyway, so when delivery was attempted I refused to accept it as by that time I had sourced an alternative. This has all been going on now for around 3 weeks and I have still not been refunded. As I paid by PayPal a dispute has been filed (they haven't responded to PayPal either) and I'm waiting for a refund through them once the time limit for them to respond expires.

Thieves

This company should not be allowed to trade and sell products. I purchased an item at the beginning of January, but this was shipped 2 weeks later than expected. Once received, I returned it immediately (I had to purchase the same thing somewhere else as I needed it urgently). It has now been two weeks since the item was delivered by Parcel Force to the JW's warehouse, and I have not received a refund nor any communication by the company. Needles to say I have tried to contact them several times without any success.

Jack Wolfskin customer service disgraceful…

I have emailed Jack Wolfskin through the correct channels 4 times requesting a returns label, no response at all.
I have tried calling, they leave you hanging for far too long. Do not know where too turn, they have my money, I cannot use their product!!

Dont use this company…

I ordered my friends gift 3 weeks ago....never arrived, I've emailed, used contact sheets, tried telephoning no replies. Never again will I order from them. Shame as they are good quality clothing. But their service is disgraceful. It has happened to me before, I thought it a one off, but clearly it isn't.

J Wolfskin online extraordinary delays to refund returns

I am happy with the delivery of my online order placed on 19th of January 2024, and received the goods by Parcelforce on the 29th of Jan. as per expectations, so no complaints with the delivery. My two star rating is because it feels like one has to jump through hoops to actually obtain a refund for returned goods. I sent the goods back on the day I received them, and complied with all their instructions, and used the Royal Mail label they provided within the parcel. Tracking shows they received my returned goods on the 30th of January at 13.29. I heard no more, so I sent them a complaint to their eshop email address, on the 7th of February, asking for my refund, which was acknowledged with an automated message, but did not receive any further communications. On the 13th of Feb, I emailed their info.com address, enclosing my proof of postage, and requested a refund, as a preliminary step to escalate matters with my credit card provider. The following morning, I received a reply with an apology, which stated that they would process the refund promptly. On the 15th of February, I received a further email stating that my parcel had just reached their logistics centre, and that a refund would follow. By Sunday 18th of February, the refund was showing in my credit card. I hope that the online UK operation can get their act together soon, as I am under the impression that if I had not emailed and sent a proof of postage to their info.com address, I would still be hopelessly waiting for a refund.

More transparency and communication needed

Shocking from start to finish - ordered on January 2nd and enquiries to the UK customer service went unanswered. Eventually managed to get a reply via the US customer services team on January 12th, and the item shipped that day (whether coincidentally or because they’d chased it up internally I don’t know).

Product was fine, but unflattering and so I returned via post office on January 19th using the label they provided. As of today (January 26th), they have not yet confirmed if they have received it and if I’ll be refunded. I’m frankly concerned about this return given Jack Wolfskin’s speed and customer service in other regards. They’re not cheap, so having £250 out my account a week after the items shipped with no indication they know it’s en route is frustrating. If / when this is handled I’ll update this.

For what you’re paying, this feels like a 2012 online shopping experience. Slow dispatches, long postal wait times, no communication.

I ordered from a competitor on January 19th (7PM) and had received it by January 20th. There’s plenty of alternative brands making equivalent products without the headaches seen all over this page, look elsewhere. I wouldn’t use them again given this experience.

Update: I had to follow-up with them in order to receive my refund, which they admitted they could see they’d received but was caught in a backlog. They were prompt to refund it once chased, but frustrating again.

No delivery. No communication.

Like others wish I'd seen the reviews first! Claimed they had sent to courier but the tracking number is not in their system. Asked when it was dispatched and just radio silence!. Paid with PayPal so will be claiming back through them. Thought they were a reputable company. Shame.
