Highly Recommended

I can't recommend Jackson Lees highly enough.
I recently used them for my divorce and conveyancing for both house purchase and sale. They are approachable, quick to respond and resolve issues and supportive.
I would not hesitate to use them again,

Unprofessional, bad attitude, pathetic company.

Tried to illegally evict a 73 year old man from his home of 8 years, without even bothering to read the evidence. I have never experienced a solicitors with such a bad attitude and disregard for the law. They obviously run their firm like some kind of dodgy bailiffs.
The so called solicitor involved was stood on the doorstep screaming at everyone, including the old mans solicitor, just embarrassing, she then left with her tail between her legs. They then tried to have him arrested for opening his partners mail, he only opened a bill as she has dementia and could not sort out the bill herself. Terrible attitude, disgusting behaviour towards a vulnerable person and all round joke of a company. Avoid at all costs this completely unprofessional company !

Jackson Lees - Conveyancing

I am sending this email to let you know about the absolutely brilliant work that was done on my Remortgage, Sale and Purchase by Susie and Dan recently. I have previously used Susie and Dan on other property transactions so I am well versed in the hard work and diligence that they put in but I guess when its your own personal property it takes on a greater significance, and their actions mean much more. This is the first time that I have used Jackson Lees in this respect and as long as Susie and Dan are there it will not be the last time.

They both went above and beyond during this transaction as it was far from plain sailing, but they played a pivotal role in getting it over the line. When my initial sale fell through Susie was quick to let me know, also taking into account it was pretty stressful on my side, she was able to provide answers to my questions about the next steps to take.
Her ability to answer the questions that were put to her from my eventual buyer or where to direct me to get the information that has been requested made closing my sale easier.
Susie and Dan are a massive credit to Jackson Lees and they will only enhance your reputation. I have personally recommended Susie and Dan to friends and family and anyone who is thinking of moving / re mortgaging, for efficiency of their work, and their attitude.

I cant thank Susie and Dan enough for helping us complete on our property and I hope this email goes some way to convey the absolute pleasure it has been, and the recognition of the hard work put in by the both of them.
I look forward to working with them on the next transaction

Amazing Customer relations and Service

We used JL as our conveyancer for our house purchase.

Susie & Dan at JL were absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough.

No matter how many communications via email or phone, both could not do more for us and kept us updated every step along the way.

Thank you very much!

Highly Recommend

Susie & team were absolutely great in the legal process of selling our property. We no longer live in the UK so had to deal with a fairly big time difference and all emails and requests were dealt with straight away even when dealing with a slow other side. This is the third time we have used Susie and team and would not hesitate to do so again. Thanks!

Ridiculous Pedantry ♡

These are the solicitor for our house buyer and today, on the day we are supposed to exchange, they have once again requested information on a matter already satisfied. They are refusing to take instruction from their client and, having already held the sale up by 3 weeks, are asking for an email to be sent again reworded to their satisfaction. They already have all this information and are adding stress for no good reason. This is all information they could access themselves on the governments planning portal but they refuse to do so. At 12 weeks they could now be holding this sale up another 28 days. If you want a conveyancer that looks for problems that simply do not exist, thinking he is Sherlock Holmes about to discover a villainous plan then ask for D♡n. D♡ns your guy if you want to have the longest, most stressful house sale ever. And if you want to be ignored and have your instruction to leave the issue alone because your happy, (and checked it yourself on the planning portal, that Fensa backed windows do not need planning permission) over ridden by an ego centric overly zealoused conveyancer who doesn't seem to have his clients best interest at heart then D♡ns the one for you! I have never experienced such ridiculous pedantry. D♡n has the PDR, D♡n has the planning portal at his disposal, D♡n has emails from planning clearly worded that no planning permission is required, yet still D♡n is not satisfied and thinks someone is lying so D♡n has asked again for yet another email from the same planning department he already doesn't trust using specific wording he wants. Because somehow if they use D♡ns words it makes it more trustworthy! Basically D♡n thinks planning are lying to him and may be arrogant enough to believe he knows their job better than they do. D♡n, this is not a grand conspiracy you are about to uncover, if you dont trust planning when they say, "all is well, no permission required" then go look it up yourself on the planning portal mate, trust your own eyes. And whilst your at it, go look up the PDR yourself that you also dont trust, that doesn't mention windows as a restriction either. D♡n, I dont know if your new and trying to make a name for yourself or just a complete turnip. Rest assured I will warn all I meet to avoid this firm at any cost.

Edit: further to the response of this firm which believes that a statement of facts is defamation I I have edited the name of the conveyancer. I would also like to add that it is not only us who were questioning the overly pedantic flogging of an already satisfied point your client also asked, on more than one occasion, for this to be overridden as they were satisfied. This review is not about us in the chain wanting greater speed it is to serve as a warning to those viewing it that certain members of your team are unable to apply logic to a situation and join the dots when all information is at their disposal. Nothing in my review is untrue and writing "...I dont know if your new and trying to make a name for yourself or just a complete turnip..." is not defamation either just a snapshot of my thoughts on this matter. Now if I had said "You sir are a two toned root vegetable better suited to stews than conveyancing" then I can see where you might be offended however I did not make that statement because, as far as Im aware, two toned root vegetables are unable to send emails. Therefore my thoughts are all that were shared. Nevertheless, Ive have changed the name to save your member of staff any embarassment. Hopefully this will be more to the company's liking.

It may also be of interest to anyone viewing this that suggesting I have personally attacked and defamed an employee, by posting a factually accurate review, is how this company responds to less than favourable reviews. Make of that what you will.

We acknowledge your posting. Although we note your comments we cannot respond on the specifics as you are not our client and are represented by another law firm in this transaction.
It is important that we act in the best interests of our client which we accept will sometimes be unpopular with other parties in the chain who are all anxious to move. That is the main reason that all parties in a conveyancing transaction must be separately legally represented to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure all parties get the best advice before they proceed with their house sale or purchase. As a final note the personal attack upon our member of staff is completely inappropriate and defamatory and we would ask you that you remove this personal reference or take down your post.

BREAKING NEWS : GREAT SERVICE BY SOLICITORS !

I instructed Jackson Lees to sell a property and they did so with minimum fuss and maximum skill and professionalism. Unusually for solicitors (in my experience), they were excellent communicators and kept me in the loop at all times during the process. Susie Lennard adeptly handled the transaction assisted by Dan Braden. They were very helpful throughout.

Amazing service from Dominic Byrne

Amazing service from Dominic Byrne.
Dom was always at the end of the phone or email when I needed help for the purchase of my first property. Dom was instrumental in getting the exchange/completion to happen even though the onward chain were wavering.
