We understand your frustration about costs on both sides. To clarify how prison phone systems work: when your son calls your JailTele number, the call is free for you - you're not charged per minute like standard prison calls.
However, your son still needs phone credit in prison to initiate the call. This is controlled by the prison system, not JailTele. Our service eliminates the expensive per-minute charges you'd normally pay, but we cannot control the prison's requirement for inmates to have credit.
The benefit: Without JailTele, you'd pay both the prison's high per-minute rates AND your son would need credit. With JailTele, you only pay our monthly fee - no per-minute charges.

Highly recommend, i get the platinum bundle at 1000mins for only £22 its really cheap for my partner to ring us and can talk for hours! You can change your bundle according its not a set price so if you cant afford the £22 a certain time then you can change to the £10 bundle for 200 mins! Very easy to contact them if you have a problem through their live chat and its instant response if live chat is down then email them the response obvisouly isnt as instant as live chat but they respond quick enough through email! 5 stars from me 😄

I keep getting texts asking me to top up. I never have signed up for anything, I don’t know anyone in prison . I keep reporting Junk mail , but you keep hounding me with texts .

So expensive!!! Have now gone back to my usall landline number that costs me £7.95 a month. Wont be using this JailTele service no more !!!! Cost me around £70-£80 in 1st week the minutes seem like they burn so quick!!! Strongly do not reccomend this company. Better off using virtual landline it costs the prisoner 60p for 20mins & £7.95 a month for me & goes direct to my mobile phone number.

please note you're comparing the FreePhone service to the landline which is totally different. The FreePhone service doesn't charge the inmate inside which is a huge benefit.
Fast friendly service. Fixed my issue within minutes …
Twice tonight I mucked up my order and did the wrong thing. First time I got my refund and second time they fixed my mistake . After sending live chat it was all done within minutes. Great service to stay intouch with loved one. Thank you for all the stuff yous do to help stay connected to our family in jail. Would definitely recommend
