Scam

Scam, scam, scam! Please do not get sucked in like I did before I found all the reviews just like mine!!! My purchase is a miniature and fake version of what was advertised. A travel bag that will be used for... hell, I have no idea, it's honestly that useless! Expensive lesson to research EVERYTHING before buying on the internet. Hope this helps even just one person avoid these thieves.

One star because no stars is an option. This is a sweatshop product from China. Leather looking vinyl. Avoid this vendor. Looks incredible on the website - inferior product. I'm planning on taking a zero on this purchase. Going right in the garbage. First indication of trouble was the shipping - which started in China.

Sent the wrong item

Sent the wrong item. Then they tell me I have to send it back, paid for by ME, and I have to send it to CHINA, at a very high cost for the size and weight of the item. Given my interactions with them thus far, I worry if I will then receive correct item or if I will be reimbursed, or will I never hear from them again. Can't call them unless you make an international call to China. They pretend to be US but have no apparent presence in the US. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.

I FELL FOR THEIR YAHOO SCAM AD

I FELL FOR THEIR YAHOO SCAM AD. I WAS TAKEN TO BELIEVE THEY WERE OPERATING IN THE USA AND THEY SHOWED A WYOMING ADDRESS, SO I did the stupid thing and mistakenly purchased a duffel bag and a back pack, thinking erroneously I was going to get some quality crafted bags. Then I read all the 1 star reviews that I could find. Lucky for me, I made my order early in the morning. I then read their terms & conditions, and forthwith I sent an email to their support team, & demanded a refund since they lied about who they are, & where they are located. Then I saw that my payment had already went through & was processed in SINGAPORE. I then filed a claim with my financial institution, & I sent a complaint through PayPal. Well, early this morning I woke up, & checked my email. My account & been refunded, & my order was canceled! They only get three stars because of the swiftness of handing back my funds through PayPal. I have no faith in them now. They were dishonest from the start, & I used their own terms and conditions against them. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Chinese fraudulent junk.

This is Chinese fraudulent junk. It isn't real leather! They advertise as being American-made, and have a full section online for all the different kinds of leather. Total disappointment.

Beware

This is not leather, it's a synthetic print. Zippers and Hardware are very poor quality. Clearly not the work of an established artisan. Beware

Mistakes on orders, cheap quality and poor customer service

I received a good laptop bag which was great. But I also ordered a backpack which looked fabulous on the pictures but they sent me the wrong one. They sent me one of very cheap quality and customer service would not correct the mistake despite multiple emails. I would not buy from them. The ads are misleading making you think it is handmade from European artisans, when in reality they are cheap chinese knock offs.

Leather laptop bag

Bag arrived. Tiny little thing, useless. I asked for return. Address return is in China. They asked me to tell them when it arrived, which I did, they kept saying i didnt insure it when I did. It was all crap. 6 months later I got the bag back from Chinese postage as "unclaimed" They are an utter con/scam. Now calling themselves James Leather or Andrew Leather.

This is a complete scam

This is a complete scam. There is no kindly old leather goods maker going out of business. There is a shoddy manufacturing outfit in Hong Kong that when you want to return the junk they sell require you to pay to return it to Hong Kong and if they are satisfied they say the will refund you. But if you don’t want to fall for that they will offer a 20% refund and keep the junk.

Item ordered is not what you will get

Item ordered is not what you will get. All the other reviews that are on here that are one star are accurately given. Also disputed my charge with my credit card company and just recently got a credit back to my account in the amount that I paid. Continue with the one Star reviews and buyer beware.

I cannot believe these criminals are…

I cannot believe these criminals are still trading. James Andrew does NOT exist. The items on this site can all be bought for a fraction of the price on sites like TEMU and Amazon. The items ALL come from China. I know because i sent the rubbish back at an extra cost of £26 . and they are still sitting at the customs in Shanghai . Pay pal gave me the return address. BE WARNED.

100% a scam

100% a scam. I saw an Insta ad for the bags, and I was going to buy one. Then I saw the creepy AI-generated guy, read the return policy and was like NO thanks. Googled the brand and its false advertising; the bags aren't made from leather and are shipped from Asia.

I purchased from James Andrew thinking…

I purchased from James Andrew thinking this was a handmade item from the shop in California. When I tried checking into the delivery I found out it was coming from China!!! Good luck into checking on delivery. It’s actually a nightmare. The item finally came. It looks ok but is definitely not the hand made quality I was expecting from the online advertising.
My pinion is the price is very inflated, item should be maybe 1/2 of what I paid at the most. I am glad I didn’t respond to the later price cuts for all the online products after I bought my item. I sent them an email saying NEVER AGAIN.

This is an absolute disgrace and a total scam!

This is an absolute disgrace and total false advertising. The website looks legit, but when the shipping originated in China, the scam became apparent. The bag is just a cheaply made vinyl excuse for a backpack and certainly not leather! BEWARE!
