DO NOT AND I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM DEALERSHIP!!!

I was sold a faulty car and forced to drive over 150 miles multiple times while they pretended to “fix” it. Their so-called mechanic lied about doing a full service in six minutes, threw away parts without explanation, and clearly had no clue what he was doing. They even swapped suspension parts from another car, yet the fault—and the constant knocking—remained. Incompetent, dishonest, and utterly unprofessional. I’ve reported them to the Financial Ombudsman and would warn anyone thinking of buying from them to run in the opposite direction.

Really bad service with them

Really bad service with them. The owner of the dealership is dodgy. First they offered me a cheaper van, when I went to put down the deposit for the van, they’ve told me the van has been sold and they’ve got me a better van, but also more expensive. Now I called the dealer and spoke to someone else, and he told me the cheaper van is still available on the market. So guess what? They are just trying to sell me a more expensive van for no reason. Just dodgy dealer.

PLEASE AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!

PLEASE AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!! They sell you cars in bad conditions & hide the status of its condition. They won’t do anything to repair it for you, you send up spending a lot of money repairing yourself. Absolute waste of time.

Avoid them by all means

My brother bought a car from them and the car was giving him problems just days after he bought the car and they didn't have the decency to want to collect the car back nor to resolve the matter amicably after less than 14 days of purchase.... I would not recommend them as they seem to be very dodgy in their dealings.

Fraudsters

We got a Peugeot 3008 from JAN AUTOS on finance online. It was listed on Autotrader. The car was delivered. It looked very good outside and in. Only the engine part seemed to be very dusty. However after a couple of days we realised the car has no power. It would also randomly stop and seemed very heavy and hard to accelerate. Also it wouldn't drive more than 60mph even though the gas pedal was pressed down to the ground!
We decided to check the car at a garage and we were shocked to be shown LITERALLY 8 pages of faults that have shown on the computer. The mechanic told us that these were removed manually,so they weren't visible on car screen. This car was a wreck, as if a tornado went through it on the inside. It was dangerous to drive,as everything in it was faulty including the engine itself,as well as airbags and seatbelts. As soon as we found out we called JAN AUTOS to say that we wish to use our 2 weeks guarantee and return the car asap. Unfortunately they weren't cooperative and didn't want to take the car back. We were told over the phone 'Why would I sell you a faulty car?!'. Additionally we have been told that if we believe the car is faulty then we have to drive it back to Luton (over 80 miles)and they will test drive it with us to see whether there is anything wrong. Of course when we got to Luton one of the advisors -apparently a 'Manager' went to test drive the car on his own after which he came back in and took a computer with him and went out again. He came back after roughly another 10 minutes to say that there is nothing wrong with the car according to him. He also said that he is not a mechanic and we can leave the car and wait for info the day after as his mechanic can check it for us. We were told the mechanic will be there when we arrive on the day,but of course no sign of him. Also we were not willing to keep the car,as we already knew from our mechanic that it is unroadworthy. Mr. Manager then said that if we wish to return the car he will charge us per driven mile and take it off our deposit, which is also illegal. After they sold us this vehicle they still had the AUDACITY to ask us for milage money. They are liers, fraudsters and take advantage of people! They also abuse Consumer Rights!Be aware and DO NOT buy cars from this place. Luckily we have managed to get our money back after locking a legal complaint agaist them through the finance company. Please use our experience as a precaution and do not make the same mistake as us. Driving such a faulty car could cost you your or your loved ones life !

Absolutely steer clear from this bunch…

Absolutely steer clear from this bunch of RIP OFF dealers. They do not deserve to be allowed to trade. I bought a car two weeks ago from their website. It looked a decent car. Nearly £20000 grand later. It was delivered to my home ( which I paid for ) another £200.00 @ 21.30 @ night with huge scratches engine management light on lacquer peeling off. I told the driver to take it back , he replied it’s yours now what do you expect for a second hand car. I battled along with my finance company to get the dealers to pick it up. This they did last night, without refunding my deposit. I finally got my deposit back today minus £200.00. I will fight these bunch of crooks to get the rest of my deposit. Please please steer clear. They were rude to me on the phone . They really have no customer service skills. Avoid like the plague.

Terrible experience, sold a faulty vehicle

Terrible experience. I was misled and sold a vehicle with multiple issues that I discovered within a few days. I was advised at the time of purchase their mechanic would be able to sort some interior cosmetic damage if I returned during the weekday, which I did a 4 hour journey for and was told on my arrival they would be unable to help and that was not the agreement. Disappointed with their service and would certainly NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from them.

No words for this company

No words for this company! ! Got to the dealership after two hours travelling, they knew I was coming, the car was not ready, waited there 5 hours! The next day I broke down the two exhausts on the car was not working and multiple issues with the engine AA towed it back to them, they just put the phone down on me because they keep lieing staring they’ve transferred the money back, I’ve taxed and insured the car paid them money and now left having to pay out to get my kids about !! AVOID so rude and literally disrespectful- they have 100% bad feedback on here for a reason

AVOID!!!

AVOID!!!

Paid 12K cash for a car, which gave engine fault in 2 days. It turned out the car has many issues, some of which: missing part of the DPF system, leaking gearbox, noisy flywheel. I went to two independent garages (Audi and Bosh), who confirmed all issues with the vehicle. Jan Autos refused refund. I had to go through the court to have my money back 3 months later. Avoid this dealer!
