Horrific Customer Service
Horrific customer service. I purchased a pair or Hunter boots for my son and when it arrived, the boots were scratched and clearly used so I returned it. The tracking shows that they received my return package two months ago. I contacted customer service and all they can tell me is "we are updating our system in the coming weeks and refunds will be issued then." So essentially two months later and I still have not received my refund and they can't give me a clear answer as to when the refund will be processed. How can a company still operate this way in this day and age when most companies provide such excellent customer service?

My order came incomplete
My order came in complete, but after speaking to the associate, Charles, he reassured me. There was a second FedEx package soon to be delivered with the missing items inquiring about. Very helpful and fast with his response!
Didn’t receive the product.
First off, I love the quality produced by this company. I ordered 2 articles of clothing, and received one. After weeks of waiting for the second, I checked tracking. It showed delivered. I reached out to J&J for help & was told they cancelled the order. No explanation, no notification, nothing. Customer service is definitely not their strong suit. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
In general, ugggh. But Charles has been awesome
In general, very dumb seeming reps. You can only dumb your questions down so much and most still don't understand. However, this review is specifically for Charles who has helped me twice now and has common sense. Also, you need to make returns have the ability to edit. Multiple times I forgot to include something that did not fit and still put it in the box with a return slip and it's like a day's worth of work to get someone to fix it.
nonexistent customer service
terrible service. I contacted them after my package was stated as delivered but never received. they told me to contact fedex the carrier to resolve. fedex stated that the type of account they have does not allow the customer to initiate a claim and only the shipper can. then asked to speak to supervisor, only to get an email mistating why fedex would not open claim, and point blank stating they were not going to issue a refund or reship and to contact financial institution. Just awful they purposely misdirect you, so you waste your time.
Dont honour their pricing
Unfortunately J and J dont honour their sales pricing. We tried to purchase a number of items that were on 'sale' only to be informed the pricing was incorrect and it was actually 2.5 times what was stated. After contacting support it was clear they were not going to do anything and as such they have lost our business going forward. Very Very average which is a shame.
Customer service chat
There was an error in store when trying to return an item with a gift receipt. When I contacted customer service chat, they were very responsive and able to solve the problem immediately. The Online customer service is great.

Online Chat Feature is GREAT
The chat feature was awesome. I was able to get a refund issued within just a few minutes. The representative was super helpful and responded promptly to my questions. Great customer service!!
Terrible customer service - AVOID BUYING ONLINE
Terrible customer service! I ordered a gift to send to NYC, but it was never delivered. When I called JJ their representative Joann said it was delivered by DHL and left in the mailbox but the gift recipient checked for 6 days in a row and it was never there. No picture proof was provided and JJ said I need to solve this with the carrier and never thought about offering to send another package to replace the lost one. They put the burden of discussion on the customer while clearly the contract agreement with the carrier was not fulfilled. Terrible! Never buying from them again although I was buying lots of things there for my grandkids.
There is no customer service
Customer service is non existent! I ordered on a Friday evening and Saturday morning I had an email that they were offering free shipping. Their recording says they accept calls on Saturday, but I called all day and it was closed. I sent an email to see if they would honor the free shipping, especially since my package had not shipped. I never got a response to my email. I have been buying from Janie and Jack for 16 years. I was always happy with the clothes, but you better hope you don’t need any customer service.
Only 8 days after I paid full price went on sale more than 70%
I was a client for many years because I loved the style and quality. These days something happened that really pushed me away . On February 22 I ordered a swimsuit and short , price $46 the swimsuit and $37 the short for a total $65.98. PayPal paid on February 24.
I received the package March 2 and on March 1st, what I paid full price, went on sale, ( only 8 days after I ordered them and 6 days after PayPal paid for ) ,$17.59 plus the 25% extra the swimsuit and $17 the short plus the 25% extra. I complained because only 8 days before I paid 70% more than the update value. They gave me 15% off next order that it was ridiculous. Sorry, but at this point I am not risking anymore to pay full price what is going on sale of 70%less the week after. Very disappointed
Horrible Customer Service
I ordered a dress set along with several accessory items that matched as a gift. I had them sent directly to the recipients and then was notified that the outfit had been cancelled but still the shoes and tights were sent. I did not need the shoes and tights without the matching outfit. I told them immediately that I wanted to cancel the order, but they indicated it was too late and shipped just shoes and tights anyway. The recipient was a little surprised to receive shoes and tights which matched nothing. I will never order from them again.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I was racially profiled at the Millenia mall location in Orlando, FL. I was asked 3 times if my items could be held at the register!!! After the third time, I wanted to know why I was being asked that, she replied I’m the store manager, I’m not sure why I needed this information. Do not shop here the customer service is horrible and the store manager needs more training!
Purchase for one price but get charged another!
Cute cloths but their online order system is AWFUL!!! I bought several items on 11/21/2022 and was sent a receipt. On 11/30/2022 they sent me a second email saying that 2 items that i purchased 9 days earlier were out of stock. Oh and btw, they were going to charge me more for 4 of the items from my original purchase order!!! For example, the Button Pointe Pants that i putchased on 11/21 for $20.99 as stated on my receipt email i was actually being charged $29.99 for!!! Had i known i would be charged 50% more i would never have bought them in the first place. Im really upset about this and will never buy anything from their online store ever again.
I work in IT. How did their IT group or business mess this up so badly???
