I purchased a swimsuit to wear on my holiday. I wore it for 30mins in the hotel pool. It totally changed colour from blue to pink.
The customer service was not helpful. They just insisted that it is on the care label not to use in chlorine. They did not accept that the fabric was poor quality.
You can't change your swimsuit if you go from pool to ocean on the same outing.
I bought 2 swimsuits, with the intention of returning the one that did not fit, for a refund.
I received a return mailing label for one of the swimsuits. Before I posted the parcel, I changed my mind about which swimsuit I wanted to return.
Jantzen website did not allow me to create an additional mailing label for this swimsuit.
I wrote to Jantzen on their online contact form. There is no email address or contact phone number on their website. I received confirmation that I could use the original mailing label to return the alternate swimsuit, as long as I provided documentation why I was doing this.
The parcel was returned to Jantzen. When the swimsuit was returned, I received a letter telling me that the wrong swimsuit had been returned, so my refund was rejected.
I wrote to Jantzen again and they said that I would in fact get my refund.
This did not happen and I have just completed a successful claim to PayPal to get my refund.
Buyers Beware! If you purchase more than one swimsuit, you can only return one of them for a refund. I consider this very poor business practice.
Communication with this company was very poor. They did not deliver what they told me they would do, ie give me a refund. In fact they quite fraudulently kept the swimsuit that I had paid for.
It is a complete waste of customers times to have to put together submissions to PayPal, in orders to get refunds that the retailer should do without question. I am however most grateful that there is an arbiter like PayPal who can assist in these matters when necessary. If I had not purchased using PayPal I would have had no redress with Jantzen at all, and I would not now have a refund. Than you PayPal.
I will never purchase from Jantzen again.
