Overpriced and overrated subscription box

I live in Europe so had to declare it and pay extra fees on top of the pricy 50 dollar price. I've ordered other japan snack creates that had actually popular Japanese sweets and snacks. This one was a big disappointment since a bit less than a half were actually good, the rest was either okay or inedible. The DIY candy instructions were very clumsy in english so I didn't make it correctly. Translating the original package with google translate even gave better instructions... Overall I would not recommend this at all. Value is way less than what it costs.

Wish I could go see your lovely country but this will do

I am a retired person on a limited income - having a little bit of Japan mailed to me fills a wish and takes away the longing of wanting to visit but that which is impossible. Ordering experience is fine

Ordering experience is fine. I wish the web-site is tone down it bit. It's really bright. I can't give you over all experience because I just sign up and haven't receive my box yet. But seeing unboxing on youtube, that's what got me interested.

I love the Doki Doki box

I love the Doki Doki box. The items are good quality for the price of the box and always on theme. The customer service team is amazing! I've had no issues with orders, but I had confusion managing multiple subscriptions/gift subscriptions, and they are always quick to respond and very helpful.

JapanCrate Baby

JapanCrate literally saved my son from depression. He was bullied in pre-school at age 3 (he is now 6), the bully clawed his face and tried to fight him to take away his toy. Moved him to another pre-school and behold he were to face it again, this time from teachers, a form of racial discrimination. He went into a withdrawal and didn't want to talk or go to school again. I got JapanCrate to try to immerse him into something different, snacks, culture, and he responded well as JapanCrate offered monthly boxes that we looked forward to such as Halloween, Christmas, Anniversary boxes etc, to see what new surprises awaited. JapanCrate not only showcased the snack/candy aspect of Japan, but the creative aspect in the diy snack kits and using the designed crate itself. This made our father son bond stronger and him recovering from what had happened. From then on he immersed himself into the Japanese culture #aaravcosplay

Unfortunately, we have no control over customs rules and specially over extra import costs that may be issued by your local customs, as every country has its regulations for processing shipments into their country.

To clarify, customs fees are charges levied by the government of the country to which goods are being imported. These fees are intended to cover the cost of processing and inspecting imported goods, and may vary depending on the country of origin, the type of goods being imported, and other factors. While these fees are not always transparently displayed on our websites, they are generally a standard part of the importing process and can be an important consideration when making online purchases mostly when your buying the item outside your country.

I understand that unexpected expenses can be frustrating especially if you were not aware of the potential customs fees when you made your purchase. However, while we process your crates for shipment, we do everything we can to lower the chances that your crates will be flagged and charged customs fees. Keep in mind that these costs are not always our fault, but rather the outcome of government laws and regulations.

I’m just a really big fan and hope one…

I’m just a really big fan and hope one day I can make enough money to get this stuff all the time. I spend alot of time watching a lot of videos of unboxing. I’m really interested in things from not only my own country but also others aswell.
