Charge 9% to cancel orders not sent

Ordered a GPU and decided against it about an hour later. Contacted them to cancel the order as there wasn't even a label created yet. Was told I could only cancel if I paid about 9% of the purchase in fees. So I begrudgingly continued with the order but will never order anything through jawa again.

Just Wanted to Write On My Experience

Just wanted to post, about my First (very positive) experience with the Jawa company. My experience was performing a Graphics Card 'Trade In' (for my previous GPU, an Asrock 6800XT Phantom Gaming). I typed in the information on the main Jawa website and received a Trade In Offer amount. I did feel the offer was fair, and I did 'Accept' to move forward with the Trade in Process. I received an email after moving forward with the Trade In, and there was a United States Postal Service pre-paid, shipping label. In my personal case, I did not have access to a printer for over a week (mine had just failed lol) and my work schedule didn't allow me to ship the item for over a week. I was able to ask Representative Ryan from Jawa via email, if they would still accept the Trade In for the same rate, even though I had delayed the shipment. Ryan informed me with an email response, that they would still allow the Trade in a the same rate. I was able to send my 6800XT with the USPS shipping label from Jawa (and there was a supplied Tracking number). The package was received successfully, and from the Jawa company via Paypal in a bit more than 24 hours, they did pay the full agreed amount. I was able to email Representative Ryan through this process and I'm really am grateful he would respond to my questions / inquiries. He also emailed me directly that the GPU was received and passed their inspection. Just wanted to post my personal experience -- and I will definitely shop with Jawa for any used parts as well in the future (for future upgrades / new builds).

Well made site

Well made site, and while the fees aren't the worst, they make it harder to justify selling higher end builds. The 3% processing should be a flat fee or capped and the 9% platform fee should be curved passed $500.
a $2000 build should not have $240 in fees, 150~180 or so would be more justified.

ABSOLUTE SHI*, DAMAGED MY GPU.

This may vary with the carrier but I sent in my "GEFORCE RTX 3060 TI" for trade in. When my trade in arrived to them they found "bio-hazard" which actually was just baking soda with warm water just to keep the box shut, anyways they denied to open the box further and sent it back. My graphics card had no damage when I sent it to then but when I received my graphics card back the brackets were bent which basically made unusable, obviously I could have bent it back with something but regardless. I filed a USPS Insurance claim which was accepted.

My experience with Jawa was absolutely the worse, there trade in values for the conditions of the cards are absolutely. NEVER USE JAWA IF YOU WANT A DAMAGED GPU OR ANYTHING.

Hi there!

Unfortunately we are unable to accept cards with any signs of possible liquid damage due to the risk of fire or further damage to the card by being operated on our test benches. Cards with potential liquid damage are immediately repackaged in the manner they were received and returned to the sender.

We apologize for the poor experience you had with our trade in program but must emphasize that safety is a priority for our staff when testing cards

Uses bad marketing practices

Uses bad marketing practices. I looked at the quote price for a GPU I had and never accepted. They sent an email and in the previw of the email, it says "You've accepted our offer" which tries to bait you to click to open the email. I never accepted an offer. When you open the email that line is no where to be found, so they hid it in the email as clickbait.

Hi there! Our system only sends Accepted Offer emails to individuals that completely fill out the form for an offer and then accept - it's possible you may have unintentionally accepted your offer. I'd be happy to look into this further for you just to ensure it wasn't an error with our system.

Really good website

Really good website, I bought a computer from Jawa and it was in good condition. The pictures even match up with the computer, some companies don’t even show the right image when your buying a pc 10/10
