Absolutely appalling service from JBS Delivery.
They emailed us to confirm a suggested delivery date. We replied clearly, two days in advance, that we would not be home that day. They responded asking if we were sure, saying it can take time to reschedule. We confirmed again, in writing, that we were not available.
Despite this, they attempted delivery anyway.
We then received an email claiming we had “missed” the delivery and were told we had to pay £40 to reschedule, even though they were explicitly informed not to come on that date. This feels like either complete incompetence or a deliberate attempt to charge unnecessary fees.
When the delivery was finally made on the rearranged date, every single box was extremely wet and visibly damaged. These were brand new items, so this clearly reflects a total lack of care in handling and transporting goods.
Poor communication, ignored instructions, unjustified charges, and damaged deliveries. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this company if you expect basic professionalism and care.

Your company were supposed give 24 hours for delivery, which they did not do. I was at work so they delivered it to my elderly neighbours. The item was a solid wood table and I live only my own so had to arrange for friends to help me . The courier had unfortunately damaged the table by using a sack trolley. The cross beam on the table was completely broken.
So I am obviously very unhappy with your service.

The 2 gentlemen who delivered the goods were very polite and very pleasant. One actually took off his shoes before coming into the house which I thought was a lovely gesture. Delivered on time with no fuss.

Delivery was due on a Saturday between 7-10am which in itself was frustrating, I would have thought they could have narrowed it down as they would have had a delivery plan. No-one showed up, no-one called. As it's a weekend no-one was in the office. Late afternoon I got an email with new delivery for Monday.
On Sunday I got a call to confirm my delivery and when I said about the day before they denied it had been out for delivery and said they didn't send delivery confirmation emails!
All very strange, but overall disappointing and waste of a weekend morning waiting for a delivery that didn't happen.

Only 1 minor issue, I had to reject 2 deliveries as only given 1 days notice. unable to plan ahead to be at home.

The company simply didn't attempt delivery. they claimed they did but it was a lie. I had two people waiting all day to receive the goods. They sent a text saying they were 90 minutes away and we never heard from them again. We then got a message saying they had successfully delivered, which they had not and asking how we rated their service!. When we spoke to them the next day, they lied and claimed nobody was home, they then said I would have to contact the retailer and they would have to organise a further delivery attempt, thus they took no responsibility at all for their failure to deliver or the pack of lies surrounding that failure. I am not convinced they are a legitimate company at all. If you use them be ready for endless, time consuming, fruitless hassle.

JBS were contracted by the furniture supplier to deliver 6 dining chairs. Things looked hopeful as they were collected from the supplier 3 w/days after ordering however despite numerous confusing timescale updates from them and a phone call and email to them, it took the company 9 w/days to deliver...by one man! (although this didn't cause me a problem). The timescale would have caused me less concern if a delivery date could have been agreed early on in the process instead of just the day before.
