I ordered from J&CO Jewellery and selected the “free shipping via FedEx” option. I was later hit with a £105 duty and tax bill, which had never been clearly disclosed. After multiple attempts to con... See more

j&co- absolutely disappointing
j&co- absolutely disappointing
bought a personalised beaded bracelet for $80+ dollars. 1) tracking is not reliable, they do not show you updates on your order 2) bracelet turned out to be nothing like the pictures- it was tiny as if for a child to wear. its made up of cheap looking gold beads on an ELASTIC STRING- something you can clearly make yourself using materials from Spotlight or something. 3) refunds are store credit only-- so is it really worth refunding a horribly made bracelet for store credit to buy another horribly made one??
I bought the bracelet as a thank you for my maid of honour who is also my best friend and i feel so cheated and disappointed. horrible brand.
Poor quality and customer service
I bought my wife two ear studs for Christmas that she picked out from j&co website,One stud fell out after five days. We took the other to a professional piercing establishment to have it fitted, unfortunately they could not due to the poor quality of the stud. I contacted j&co who asked me to send a video of the stud.a few days past and I contacted them again only to be asked to send another video, hmm delay tactic.
I tried contacting again and have not received any correspondence from the company at all.
I have also been sent an invoice for £42 from fedex for delivery unbelievable you have to pay so much for poor quality.
I would strongly urge anyone who is thinking of purchasing from this company to think again,if I had checked trust pilot first I would not be nearly £200 down and my wife would have a Christmas present she wanted
so so bad! don’t recommend at all!
i had to give one star but actually there would be none. the jewellery was defective and i’m still waiting for a reply and a refund. i’ve written countless mails and after the first two they didn’t reply anymore. i don’t recommend buying there. bad products and even worse customer service.
Won't Buy From Them Again
I bought a single flat back earring. Although it looks nice, after a few weeks it fell out. This continued to keep happening. It looked like the thread on the screw was faulty and probably too short. I messaged J&Co to see if there was anything they could do but they said there wasn't as I couldn't prove the fault!!!! I was shocked by the response as I only made a general inquiry to see if we could find a solution. I told them I thought the item was faulty as it kept unscrewing and falling out every few days. I said I was happy to return this one for a replacement but they refused and then stopped replying.
I would advise buying only if you are happy to accept substandard product and zero customer service. They will not replace a faulty product, even if you return it. They will ignore messages and take zero responsibility.
I will never buy from them again. I'd rather spend my money with businesses that care about their customer satisfaction.
EXPENSIVE TAX
The tax very expensive. Better you buy it when you go to Singapore. The product is cute. Fast shipping. Customer service not really good ... not answer some question and email. They only reply email just only what they want to reply (not answer all your question) not really help you ...
We had the most wonderful experience…
We had the most wonderful experience purchasing my wife’s wedding ring from J&Co in November. From the moment we walked in, the team made me feel special and truly took the time to understand what we were looking for. Their attention to detail, patience, and genuine care made the entire process seamless and enjoyable.
What stood out the most was their personal touch—not only did they help us find the perfect ring, but they also checked in after the wedding to see how everything went. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and truly speaks to the passion they have for their customers.
We couldn’t be happier with the ring and the experience . If you’re looking for a jeweler who goes above and beyond, this is the place to go! Highly recommend!
Poor quality
Poor quality, hidden delivery costs, very difficult to try to return items
Would never buy again off this site
Nice earring, quick delivery
Got a single earring on the black friday sales, it is shipped next day and got it within a week. The product is great, the style is indeed more challenging to wear than traditional earrings, but it does its job. I feel more comfortable when wearing earrings to sleep. No additional/ extra cost on delivery, I guess it really depends on the country you are in.
Positive experience
I had a positive experience with this company. The earrings I bought were of a pretty good quality and fit well. It's always a gamble buying online, but in this case it was worth it. I'd buy from them again.
I ordered some earrings before I read…
I ordered some earrings before I read the reviews here and then I got very worried.
However, the order arrived within 10 days. I did have to pay import/customs duty, however, this was mentioned on the website (I just hadn't bothered reading it). This amounted to around 25% of the total order.
The earrings came in a pair, and fit my ears perfectly well and I am happy with them. The overall quality isn't too high, each earring came packed separately in a plastic bag, but so far my usually sensitive ears have been quite happy.
Overall, this is a 'direct from production' business model, cutting out the middle organisations that usually do the import etc. The price is a little high for that, but also, I am happy that my cash is going directly to the producer.

Too expensive Paying for $245 for just 1 pc. I should check the reviews first before buying. I thought I would get a pair for 245 but just 1 pc.
Late and high/hidden shipping charges
High and hidden shipping charges. Be aware you will be hit with high customs charges when you receive item, half of the price of the item again!
Took 3 or 4 weeks to arrive instead of 1-2.
DONT BUY
DONT BUY! SCAM!
The product is very low quality, and they charge you a huge HIDDEN delivery fee afterwards!
Hidden shipping costs
Hidden shipping costs. Totally misleading information about shipping in the order confirmation. You are told shipping is free then you get sent a FedEx bill weeks, if not months later. NEEDS TO BE MADE CLEARER ON THE WEBSITE THAT SHIPPING IS N O T FREE!!!!
Cheap and don’t take returns
I’m in the US and tried to make an order from them. This company processed a duplicate order and then claims they take returns. When I asked to return the duplicate order they said I had to pay to ship it back to Singapore ($50-$150 price tag for an $80 purchase. The products were cheap and low quality and they do not actually accept returns with this policy in place. AVOID
You’re buying 1 single earring!
Bought 3 pairs of earrings…or what I thought were 3 pair. Only received 3 single earrings. What retailer sells earrings not in a pair? Way too expensive to justify buying another 3 single earrings to make the pair complete. The company will tell you too look at the description and sure enough, it does say that it’s only 1 earring…but who would think to look or except that. They’re super cute but I guess I’ll just be mismatched. Very disappointing.
Bought earrings for a Christmas…
Bought earrings for a Christmas present. £17 for EXPRESS delivery - Arrived late. They’re based in Singapore. Earrings are tiny, cheap, & overpriced. Don’t let the packaging fool you, this is an appalling company with customer service to match.
Waste of money!
I had ordered what I thought was 2 pairs of earrings, only 1 of each set arrived and they were so tiny that I wasn’t able to actually screw them together whilst in my ear. Very frustrated and wished I’d checked the company’s reviews before ordering. Although not mega expensive it’s still £30 down the toilet!
Earrings are too small for adults
Earrings are too small for adults. Contacted the company and let them know that the product was unused. I just compared the earrings with my old earrings and the post is too small. They refused to give me store credit or a refund. Left a review on Facebook and they blocked me. It’s a scam.

Ordered from this company a number of times. Product is good for the price. Not super fast postage but I’m never in a hurry. Normally takes maybe two weeks.
