I love this gym and will remain a member.
It does get busy so I would like to see 1 more leg curl/extension and other leg machines provided as there is always a queue at busy times to use these.
Also the wifi is not very good at busy times.
it would also be much better if cleaning equipment was available near the running machines. There is plenty of room behind them to provide this.
Speaking of cleaning....it would be better if cleaning from the patrons was enforced better. Many times I have watched, mostly men and boys, but some ladies too, just walk away after using the equipment. Dirty and selfish, they are.

You logged me out my account and won’t let me back in

For the size of the gym there is not enough equipment, meaning I still find myself waiting even at non-peak times.

I’ve been a member since opening and have enjoyed using the gym, good atmosphere and feel/vibe to the place, a decent amount and choice of kit and overall positive feel to the gym, staff are great and very friendly and helpful when needed.
But downsides:
* you probably have to ask how to use machines if new to them - there’s no inductions these days (or pay extra for a PT)
* equipment that needs repaired can take weeks (4+ Weeks on occasion) to be fixed, guessing due to parts availability.
* despite Covid being on the rise management have decided to cut costs by removing all but two of the cleansing stations… yeah legally they may not have to provide them now, but morally and ethically it’s good to know it’s a clean safe environment. Crikey we used to have to wipe down machines in the 90’s never mind Covid years!
* AC woefully inadequate from day 1. Summer is ridiculously hot.
* lots of kids, 14 year olds (policy is 16), I think it’s great they want to keep fit but the problem is they move in TikTok’ing herds, don’t even bother waiting if the herd has chosen the machine you want as their current watering hole, they’ll be there ages and you’ll be waiting for 5+ users to do their thing between checking social media.

In all honesty the thought of a JD gym made me think of one thing… poodle haired blokes with adidas man purses huddled around a machine with the bros. It does have your fair share of pin legged curls for girls bros that want nothing more than a few more instagram followers however it surprised me. The staff i have met so far have all been fantastic and seem genuinely interested in providing a solid level of customer service. The space is well thought out and it offers everything you need no matter what your choice of regime may be.
The only addition i would like to see would be a curved runner (non-motorised)
After that it would get the 10/10 it deserves
Thanks
Adam

Been going for 7 months not major issues other than it is always very warm and if you go at peak times you will likely have to wait for machines. No problems with the facilities though.

Everytime I call no one answers. Then I get told why didn't I leave a voicemail. The cheek. The point of calling is to speak to someone. Don't leave a number if you can't answer it. I requested for a cancellation before and on 15th March, but I was still charged for my membership on 22nd march, now I have to chase a refund. Absolutely rediculous as if I don't have anything else to do in my life but to chase these people.
To your reply. You have not replied back to my leaving form I'm calling trading standards and financial ombudsman.

Really Good gym, big space, clean all round and plenty of equipment. Would like to see some more machines. Reverse hyper extension would be great and maybe hyper extension bench.

I use this gym super early at 5am. All areas are clean, accessible and there is something for everyone here!! You don’t get harassed by anyone, for anything. Staff are available if you need them. Would recommend

By far the best gym i ve been to in 20 years of training, plenty variety, choice and duplicates of machinery and weights and not that i need it now but 24hr for varying shift patterns of workers

Great gym with excellent equipment, not a big gym goer however this place is relaxed and allows you to get on with your own session.
Currently using the gym early morning before work, so loads of available stations to do my workout.
Great value for money, which is so important currently in the climate we live in.
