I really enjoy JD gyms it’s a very nice gym. The manager Natalie is very helpful along with the staff I would recommend this to friends and family.

This gym as plenty of space, gym equipment, car park and a big studio. The staff who work there (they listen and take action when needed) are amazing, the external instructors are awesome l and we lucky to have some of them! The Body Pump classes at this gym, in my opinion are the best in Wales! I love this gym, it’s a proper gym family!

Pros - great for training free weights/plate loaded/functional, not as many clowns as other gyms in Newport. Natalie is a lovely manager. Cons - Matrix Cardio kit is poop, maybe the staff who train should be setting a better example of wiping sweat off and putting their weights away. All in all though it's v. decent especially for the money

More attention to stop people misusing logins/qr code and check age on members.

Decent gym with a lot of equipment only gave 2 stars as there's no proper induction apart from a video they send you where as other gyms you make an appointment and meet a member of staff and they ask you what your looking to achieve and they walk you around there was none of that at all I had to walk around looking for the changing rooms on my first day then didn't know where to start as I had no idea where anything was matter of fact I haven't spoken too met or seen a single member of staff there

Worked there, been told I cannot be a member for 6 months after leaving even though I would be a fully fledged paying member. Now been told it's a permanent ban due to handling cash from my clients in the car park, which I have never done as all transactions are done through my business account. So the management have made up B/S so I can't go back! Not sure what the game is here but you won't win playing like that. Could carry on here forever but keeping it short and sweet for now....

Always clean, even when it's busy you can still get a good session done. Good machines. Staff seem happy
