It’s a great gym with lots of equipment and plenty of space. The staff are friendly too. You gain entry to the gym using their app which generates a QR code to scan at the the entrance. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star rating is the app should be able to tell you how many people are in the gym at a specific time. Other than that, it’s a nice gym all round.

I’ve had the most productive experience at JD Gym as there’s other machines I haven’t used which has improved my performance in training

Absolutely disgusting service!!! I cancelled my membership on the 11th August and they have taken the fee until December over £80 of my money.
They refuse to respond to my email saying it will take 7 days to come back and then tell me once they do respond it will take 21 days for a refund.
Do not join this gym, they make it impossible to cancel and then don’t refund you your money. The line goes dead when you can or they tell you this line only processes payments (how convenient). JD gyms are running an illegal customer service department as they refuse to answer any refunds.
Ticket number 636271 - call me to sort my money asap!!!

Very miss leading advertisement. Advert suggest a single month's membership is purchasable without a contract, but JD Gyms makes you agree to pay for at least one more month's membership via direct debit. This is after they have already taken money for the first month. Fortunately, I was able to cancel because I was still within the 14 day cooling off period. "No contract" should mean no contract. Customers should not be tied into paying for further months.

I wish there was a live count of how many people are at the gym to know whether it is busy or not. Other than that it’s a great facility with great equipment

There are not enough attachments and even when there are some of the few available the upkeep on them is terrible

I joined the gym a week ago and I am having the best experience working out there. It's spacious, there's something for everyone irrespective of what one's fitness goal and the training regime may comprise of. In a nutshell, the most satisfying gym and that too at an affordable price.

Very good structure and equipment, but student promotions make it impossible to workout properly, the gym overflows even during off-peak hours. This is our last month there. I hope it makes sense for them to switch from fixed paying users to a wave of students paying £5 for the first month.

It is the best gym I have attended in Nottingham

Gym equipment not cleaned regularly, broken and losses exercise machine handle, making squeaky noises.
all round is low maintained gym

It’s good, I really like to go there every morning for the exercises.

Too busy and crowded gym. To use one of the equipment you need to wait at least 15min in the peak time. It is cheap but from my point of view it doesn't deserve to try.

The ventilation sistem is poor...and need a big improv.
Some of the fitness eq. need a better service and care.

The gym itself is okay, some cables aren’t smooth but gets the job done. Good platforms for powerlifting.
My issue is the poor gym etiquette. One of the PTs will give unsolicited gym advice to women in the middle of their sets. JUST WOMEN. Mate, these women train better than most guys here so stop being a creep and let them do their thing. And if you really want to be helpful in the gym, at least approach the dudes with disgusting form in between your hovering around women. It’s weird and it’s creepy. So just stop it.
