Great gym with amazing facilities. Doing PT sessions lessons with Elliott who’s great at his job. I’m massively noticing the difference in a short period of time.

Plenty gym equipment to get use which is mainly in good condition, although there is only one peck machine which is almost impossible to get on at peek times. Josh/ and other staff that works in the gym are helpful and friendly. Peek times seem to busy with lots of teenager all grouped together which causes a back log on people trying to get on machines

Health and safety at the gyms, members not adhering to health and safety leaving sweat residue after use of the treadmill reported to management and no action taken. After 2 weeks same individual member continuing to abuse the machines therefore restricting my use of the machines 29th August 202r

Wish I could give lower than one star. Shares a free carpark and doesn't light up the maximum stay sign of 2 hours. Very poor trying to help parking fine, didn't even bother contacting owner of carpark to counter charge. Only overstayed by 9 minutes which should be within grace period. Didn't inform me of maximum stay on purchase of membership. Gym itself filler with very poor staff who lied about guaranteeing help with the problem especially as it was caused by a medical reason. Absolutely atrocious behaviour from the carpark supplier where there is a sauna and gym and showers. Should be at least 3 hours and inexcusable to charge on medical scenario. Please check your gym out for these things if you do consider purchasing.

Got a great selection of equipment to use, love to see how many cables are available and a pendulum squat. Only thing that let's it down is the changing room is a bit small and kids in groups in a evening.
Great choice of equipment. When i can not sleep, off i jog to the gym. The changing room, toilets, shower area and sauna are very clean. The cleaning staff work very hard to maintain the high standards which is a must .The equpment too is clean and if not being reguarly cleaned there are paper towels and sterile cleaning spray for users to use as well.
Good gym plenty of equipment nice and clean only problem is it's a bit like a youth club between 4/9 pm

When I went to this gym and then finding out they don’t include free classes and I was very disappointed because I was excited about using this gym close by. I’ve emailed them to make a complaint saying the website is very misleading, I’m not the only ones who thought this gym does include free classes. I’ve asked other people to take a look at the website and thought the same. I then had a look other locations JD gym and found the standard membership price are various like for example St Helens membership without free classes is £21.99 a month whereas it’s cheaper at Liverpool city centre which is £19.99 with free classes! So how’s that fair. Clearly a rip off. They need to give discount for something like this would be fairer and keep customers coming in. I could not travel to Liverpool city because I don’t have a car. I had to warn other people to avoid confusion by commenting on JD gyms St Helens Facebook group post about free classes not included, and the price is rip off compare to other locations. Then I found out that my comment has been removed and blocked me from accessing for telling the facts. I then contacted JD Gyms Facebook group through messenger to make a complaint about the price, the website, removing customer’s comment and blocking etc and then they were very ignorant/stubborn and are lying about removing comment or blocking people from telling the truth/facts about the gym. I’ve told them that they seriously need get their website to be redesigned by UX people and tested by real people as well giving them an idea how to avoid confusion on local gym page to say this particular gym does not include free classes. I contacted them again asking to allow me to access JD Gyms St Helens Facebook group and they’ve blocked me from contacting them again and accessing the main JD Gyms Facebook group. They does not care about customers’ experience just money. Just childish and does not know how to deal complaint professionally.
So I’m leaving this on here where JD gyms people cannot remove or hide from the facts.
This is unbelievable unprofessional behaviour coming from them. I have cancelled my membership with them.
Great gym, helpful staff. Didn't know I had to bring a padlock but bought one from the vending machine. Enjoyed my first ever Burn class, couldn't walk after.
I trained here recently as I was close by abc could not believe the transformation from when it was X4L.
Brand new everything and a sauna in the new gym. Yes it’s more expensive now but it is also 24 hour.
The only downside was that all 6 sets of cables were being used whilst I was there.
Recently joined the gym used it only once so far. Got there this evening but couldn’t log into my app as it was saying my login details were incorrect so basically I have no membership even though I’ve paid for it. No staff available to help.
