Gym is good, and there is a ladies section for sisters which is great. The only thing I would say is that the music in the classes is to much much. There should be class options without music for auti... See more

Can you provide antibacterial spray bottles and wipe down cloths for the equipment? Especially in the ladies section

I was enjoying being a member of JD Gyms until a received multiple parking fines from a debt company for parking in the gym carpark.
Some mornings the car registration screen would not be working. Staff would always say. There's no need to worry, write down your reg and we'll sort out out later.
That turned out to be a lie. It also turns out I'm not the only one.
I've contacted JD Gym multiple times to get this resolved and they just don't give two you know what. Its now got to the point were I believe its possible that jd gym and the parking company are in cahoots.
Now, it's just not worth the risk so I've took my custom elsewhere.

Decent gym however needs more maintenance on the machines. Members need to be more considerate, there’s an older fella there with 2 suitcases of attachments and gadgets who spent 1hr 20 minutes on the smiths machine knowing the other one was broken. I watched several people approach him and he told them he was using it and even at one point put his towel on the bench and went out the gym to his car and come back. He should have his membership removed for inconsiderate “sportsmanship” I know he’s been warned several times.

Spacious. Good equipment and classes. The ladies gym needs to be a bit bigger though. There should be cleaning equipment everywhere so you can wipe equipment especially matts in the classes

half of the benches are missing knobs to change the elevation. Equipment such as chest fly machine has had its functional knob missing for years. The bathroom always smells of raw sewage. For some reason all of the clocks on the walls have been taken down.
All of the above and yet they raise the prices.....

The showers do not stay on long enough. Every 5 seconds the shower keeps turning off and we keep having to turn it back on. This is constant
The parking restrictions are no good as this restricts gym time.
Having to use QR code to leave the gym baffles me as we have to use the QR code to enter anyway so why use it to leave the gym. Also if my phone battery dies and i do not know my membership number to enter...what am i supposed to do then as theres nobody at front of house to assist.

I have been going to the gym in Wolverhampton for half a year, I am delighted with the equipment, cleanliness and most of all the additional classes it offers. Body Combat with Megadaline Mould and Zumba and Yoga with Reita X. Thank you very much for your efforts

I decided to try out JD gym to see if it offered better facilities than my current gym, PureGym. The fact that it’s advertised as a 24-hour gym was a major selling point, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the moment I signed up.
The sign-up process was simple enough, but I encountered issues logging into my account. Despite using the correct credentials, I kept getting login errors, and even after trying to reset my password, I never received an email (not even in spam).
When I finally accessed my account, I went to the gym at my usual workout time (1:30 AM) and immediately struggled to enter due to an unresponsive QR code scanner. Once inside, I headed to the changing rooms—only to find out they were locked from 12 AM to 5 AM. The only way to get the access code was through the website, not the app, which was both inconvenient and unnecessary.
Frustrated, I decided to leave, but even that wasn’t straightforward—the QR scanners at the exit didn’t work properly, making it difficult to leave. To top it all off, as I was finally exiting, I noticed a sign stating that the car park offers 3 hours of free parking, but you need to register your car. Since I couldn’t re-enter, I had no way to do so, and now I’m concerned about being fined.
Overall, this experience was a complete waste of time, and I wouldn’t recommend this gym. I’ve requested a refund for my £10 joining fee since I wasn’t able to use any of the facilities. Hopefully, they address these issues, but for now, I’ll be sticking with PureGym.
I'm still also waiting for any sort of response to my support ticket and since I've received nothing from their support I have since sent a cancellation form which also has yet to be acknowledged.
