JDM Engine Depot Scam.

We bought an engine from JDM Engine Depot in NJ. When I was inspecting the Timing Belt before installing it in the vehicle I discovered the engine was partly seized up. I removed the spark plugs and found water in the cylinders. I drained the oil and found water in the oil. Lots of water. I contacted JDM and they requested photos which I sent. Subsequent phone calls resulted in them telling me that my claim was denied and all correspondence had to be done by email. After that the would not respond to emails or phone calls. I disassembled the motor and found that the heads, pistons and cylinders were badly damaged. I made a video of the damage and they have seen it. We ended up stopping payment on the credit card charge. Upon researching the business I found they have an F rating at the better business bureaus and on 1.1 rating on Yelp. I wish I had seen that sooner. The business claims on their website that they inspect their products but if they did they would have seen the problem with this motor. Many people have had almost the same issue with this company according to other reviews. They will sell you a bad product and then not do anything about it. Buyer beware.
