A Nightmare So Far

Ordered an engine for $5400 that leaked from day 1 as a result of faulty manufacturing. My biggest mistake was not reading fine print of the LKQ Warranty that only covers $50 hr of the labor for a warranty claim. You have to pay all of the labor and get reimbursed the difference. Read on to see why I am concerned about that.

Then, with less than 5,000 miles on the engine, timing chain goes out so they have to send another engine that I am going to have to pay the majority of the labor on to have installed.

Finally, core charge was supposed to be refunded on the original engine. I never received it. My wife was told it was refunded in May approximately 4 weeks after the engine was shipped back. I never received the refund and have not received any sort of verification that the refund was issued. I know I did not receive it.

Can''t ask for a refund because I'd still have to pay for the labor to have the engine shipped back.

I've waited to leave a review hoping that someone would try to make this all right but it does not appear it is going to happen.

I cannot articulate how unbelievable this whole experience has been. My fault for not reading the warranty closer because I would not have ever purchased from a company offering a warranty like this.

I owned a business for years. I rarely leave bad reviews for anything but this has so remarkably horrible of an ordeal that I hope I can save someone else from the trouble I have had to go through.

If somehow this is all made right, I'll gladly let you know.

SCAM!

I do not recommend this place at all. They are deceptive and liars. They had my engine from dallas for 4 months and didn't repair it. They also did not send back all the parts! They should be dealt with on a personal level and business! I hope someone does! Liars and thieves! DO NOT GET YOUR PRODUCT HERE! SOME PEOPLE SHOULD BE DEALT WITH PERSONALLY!
