Horrible customer service- failed to fulfill order

I ordered 2 lipsticks on Dec. 2 and received an email saying they’d be shipped within 10 business days. On the 11th business day I emailed their customer service and received an reply email saying they would not be shipped until Dec. 23 and that if I emailed multiple times they’d group my emails together and send me to the back of the queue. I sent a second email that was never responded to. I finally received notice that my items shipped on Dec. 28. I will NEVER do business with them again. Not only can they not deliver products as originally promised but they don’t even offer the opportunity to get a refund or respond to emails.

No order updates in 2 months

I ordered the mini controversy palette in the first week of November during the launch and was sent a confirmation email saying it will take 5-10 business days to be shipped. I waited a month and then another updated email on the 3rd of December was sent which said it will be shipped in another 10 business days. It's now December 31, almost 2 whole months since I placed the order and it still hasn't been shipped yet. I understand it's a busy time of the year, but waiting 2 months just to have it shipped when you've been promised a maximum of 10 business days, TWICE, is disappointing.

Ordered items that were in stock in…

Ordered items that were in stock in early December. It is now December 30th and my items still have not shipped although the emails said 10 business days for shipping. Contacting the AG with my order information, the customer service emails that state my products were to be mailed out within 10 business days but have not. This is unacceptable.

Beauty Bay sent me here lol

I ordered from Beauty Bay, a palette (jawbreaker) and the liquid lipstick nude bundle volume one. I already contacted Beauty Bay about my concerns, they basically told me there is nothing they could do about it and contact Jeffree Star Cosmetics instead.

So, there was nothing wrong with the palette, but the lipsticks... They arrived in a mess, that didn't really bother me. What upset me, was the condition of the lipsticks. They looked expired and a little moldy, and they have a realllllllyyy strong smell of play-doh. I am scared to put them on my lips. These were supposed to be my Christmas gift. And Beauty Bay's answer was; and I quote:

"I can assure you all products we stock are supplied directly by the brands themselves, as such all items are 100% genuine and brand new.
If you do require further information about the products you can contact the brands directly and they will be able to confirm that we are a registered stockist."

I don't even know how this issue could be resolved, since i ordered them from Beauty Bay and they won't refund me. I'm just hoping that I either get my money back or get a replacement, because the colors of the lipsticks are stunning.

Ordered over a month ago, still no product.

I ordered on Thanksgiving day- over a month ago, and my items have still not arrived. That is not acceptable at all.

I'm wondering why he refunded millions of palettes and didn't refund the people who have waited over a month for their products.

Will not be shopping from JSC again.

Black Friday Sale, or The Modern Black Plague of Late Shipment Reviews

I'm glad to read I am not the only one who had not received my stuff ordered on Black Friday. I first thought it was just longer because I live in Canada, and ya know customs and stuff. I checked my emails only today and it got shipped the 23rd Dec. (ordered on the 30th Nov) and that's the last update of the tracking number. Praying to get it by new years eve cause I was counting on that palette for my lewk. However, I've ordered once before and it came super quick. So it's real sad for those who were counting on offering it for Christmas, but the stuff I wanted sold out so quick and more, I'm sure they've been in the juice ever since. So please be patient with JSC. It kind was to be expected. I'm sad, but my New Year's lewk and I will make it through. Peace y'all.

Girl you’ll get your stuff

Ordered a mirror and jawbreaker pallet on Black Friday sale on Dec. 2nd. And it got shipped today. I email customer service one the 16th and again on the 26th and got a quick answer both times. Key is just be patient with them, they just had a huge launch with the SD pallet near the holidays! Just keep calm and you’ll get yourrr stufff

I ordered items to the UK in the Shane…

I ordered items to the UK in the Shane launch, Items arrived and one was missing. Took about a week for customer services to get back to me but they sent out a replacement free of charge and they said that they would refund my customs if I got hit for a second time. Ordered on 2nd November and all sales finally received on 24th December.
Wish they would sort it out so you could have:
online chat customer service
Pay customs at checkout (like Beautylish)
More competitive shipping rates
Would I order again from them? If it was available on partner websites then I would use them instead, but JSC wasn't awful.

Devastated.

Boy oh boy am I sad that I’m writing this. I’ve been a loyal supporter of Jeffree Star for a really long time. He was literally the reason I got back into beauty after years of hating myself so bad that I was insecure to wear make up. I ordered the Conspiracy and Mini Controversy from Black Swallow on November 1st. It arrived nice and quick, but when I got my mini, I noticed it smelt ATROCIOUS. Someone else in a group pointed out that hers was the same and that it was the shade ‘Exposed’. I smelt the shade and sure enough, it’s the only one that stinks. The best way I can describe it is a strong scent of gasoline mixed with burning chemicals. When I emailed JSC to see if they could tell me why it might smell like that, it took around 3 weeks to get a response and I only got a reply once I took the matter to twitter and made it public. I was assigned someone who said they’d reply within 72hours from my first email and they never did. I made 2 more attempts after that until a customer service lady finally replied and told me it was just the sealant and should just smell like a “new car”. ???? Anyway, I emailed back describing the details that it wasn’t the sealant and only around 100 palettes (that I could see) were affected and it was only coming from the ONE shade. If it was sealant, all my palettes would stink, all the shades would stink, all mini controversy palettes would stink and it wouldn’t just be a minority of us. I said i was happy to send evidence that it wasn’t just me and she completely ignored my whole email and just sent back that they’d send a refund or replacement and didn’t confirm whether they’d look into it. More people started coming forward with bad palettes. JSC said it was safe to use still and some took the risk and used the shade and ended up with swollen, puffy eyes that stung for a few days+. Yet neither JSC or Jeffree himself addressed it. I I started threads on twitter with other people and we were all nice about it trying to get them to confirm that they could just look into why the palettes were affected and we were all ignored. I ended up emailing Black Swallow to see if I could just get a replacement or refund and it took 2 weeks for them and the lady was incredibly rude and made it sound like she was doing me a huge favour and also kept basically ignoring what I was trying to say. I’m sorry, but if I was running a cosmetic business and customers came to me saying this, I’d take it very seriously. I spent weeks trying to nicely get Jeffree’s attention on twitter and was ignored. I finally gave up and made one sly comment and was instantly BLOCKED by Jeffree.

He used to be wonderful. But there’s so many issues currently coming from his company and he’s too busy gloating about his new cars, mansions and success. When he does address the issues on Instagram or Snapchat, it’s constantly just “let me be transparent” but when fans are transparent that they are upset and angry with his business, they get blocked like THEY did something wrong. So many people still missing Conspiracy collection items from November 1st, Black Friday orders still not shipped, issues with Killer Merchandise, Issues with the palettes etc. but he’s already talking about his new palette coming early 2020. You would think you’d help your loyal customers first and deal with your current issues before jumping into new projects. Definitely proved that this is all just for money now. His fans are terrified of him. They are too scared to say how they really feel when they feel played around because of how he reacts. I’d be heartbroken if I was in his shoes and my fans were AFRAID of me. :(

Definitely DEVASTATED by all this because he was my idol. I adore him. I’m heartbroken. But I hope he enjoys his new $15 million dollar mansion, new car, all his success etc. It’s okay to gloat your success, but don’t treat your fans and customers like garbage and do it.

Ordered on Black Friday and was told bc…

Ordered on Black Friday and was told bc of the amount of the launch orders and black Friday orders that it could take up to 10 business days to ship. On the 10th day I was told no later than the 19th of December they'd be shipped. That day came and went and I had to find on Reddit that he posted and Instagram story that 10% of orders wouldn't be sent out till after Christmas. I was one of the 10%. Just got shipped yesterday, almost a month after purchase. Ridiculous. No apology and I highly doubt I'll receive a free item as a thank you and sorry for the delay or something. Next time I'll order from another retailer of his products.

Ordered Nov 29th and have not received

Ordered Nov 29th and have not received. My card was charged immediately but my order status has not changed from processing. No reply to emails. No contact phone number. Horrible company. Only ordered as a gift for my daughter but will never again. Ive never had a company take my money before shipping the product. Just another example of how bad companies these days are. They just don't have what you need to run a real company. Very untrustworthy.

Absolutely one of the worst companies…

Absolutely one of the worst companies out there. Ordered a palate over a month ago for my wife, was told it had shipped, almost a month later and no replies from customer service or changed it my order status. Taking peoples money and just making them wait for something at all is ridiculous and Jeffree star sounds like he might have to take off his nails and get to work at their warehouses. Hate to say it but at this point he is a total scammer. Will never order from these guys in a million years and I feel sorry for everybody who ordered just like I did only to be let down.

Never ordering again

I ordered on Black Friday, as many other customers did, and still have not received the products I paid for. I got a notification that the order has shipped BUT when I go to the link provided it shows it is still sitting in the warehouse... hasn’t even been scanned through the shipping facility.

The shipping is ridiculous, I don’t even want my products anymore. I want a refund.

No longer a customer

I'm not sure what happened to this brand but I am officially done buying products from it. The customer service is the worst if you actually get a response because normally it's nothing but silence. Don't bother tweeting any issues or asking questions because you will be attacked. I never received a shipping confirmation for something I bought over a month ago and customer service never responded until I got fed up and told them to cancel the damn order. You can't guarantee you will get the items you ordered or even when you will get them. There is plenty of other companies with similar products don't waste your time with this one.
