Worst customer service experience EVER
Worst customer service experience EVER! This company should be shut down. Ordered a Christmas gift for my daughter on november 28th. I was guaranteed it would arrive before christmas and after I sent 15 emails, my package finally showed up on january 10th and it wasnt even all of my order. I have filed a complaint with paypal and sent multiple emails and they still wont answer me back.
WORST experience EVER!!
WORST experience EVER with any customer service!! I shipped this to my address and they claimed it delivered to my mail room. It did not, I had first called the mail room which every package must be scanned in the mail room. The mail room watched back all of the security footage and did not show the package being delivered. I then called USPS that said the package must be lost. After waiting a day or two, I contacted JSC, they claimed it was not their responsibility. I ended up denying the claims through my bank. My tracking was updated to show that the package actually went back to JSC. JSC then disputed my bank and recharged me!!! When arguing against this, they claimed my address wrong which it was not. Due to their inaccurate claim, they REFUSED to refund me. Luckily my bank did refund me, but i will NEVER order from this company again. Completely unreliable and absolute scum.
JEFFREE STAR Should criticize his own company
This company is the worse..i ordered way b4 xmas to give as a gift and didnt recieve.. they email me that i recieved but i notify them that i have not recieved my package and they email me a few hours later that its back at their facility how the hell does that happen...so they refund me but now only some of the money because they want to keep the shipping and taxes...Jeffree Star worry about your own business and stop criticizing others ...your company freaking sucks I will never buy any thing from his brand again!!!
Crooked Company: Dishonest Practices
I ordered items from JSC on Black Friday & waited patiently for the items to arrive. After a couple of weeks, I received an email that they were behind on shipments (fine) I reached out to ask where the shipment was a week later & no response. I then received an email saying my items shipped in mid-December. I checked the shipping again on 1/10/20 & tracking only showed a label had been created. It was never shipped. I reached out & their "customer support" said they lost the box in the warehouse & were out of stock on items & refunded my money. Ridiculous. Jeffree is supposed to be all about honesty & for the customer & I have never felt so ignored by a company in my life. Then, they offered nothing. Not a discount, gift card, or promise to ship once stocked. I'll never order from JSC again as they are so dishonest. Spend your money on a better company who has legitimate customer service & not just staff who lies about shipments.
Poor costumer service
I ordered some products from the Shane and jeffree collab and I received a faulty product that fell apart. So I contacted costumer service for a replacement and they won’t do anything about it.

I have ordered over £100 of Christmas presents from Jeffree Star, a month in advance. They weren’t processed until 22nd December and still haven’t received them.
I have emailed several times with no response. So that seems to be over £100 stolen from me.
Update: I have since received my goods over 2 months after I ordered.

.I needed to get a hold of Jeffree Star Cosmetics , I never thought after watching the videos he and Shane made how the business is really run, maybe it's just shipping.I have every email I sent, on business days/times with no response.
I was then contacted by several people this was happening to via Twitter and they were upset and had similar stories .I was advised that because Jeffree Star advertises and conducts business through his socials to contact him this way.Only to be blocked when asking information about my purchase.I could no longer contact his business about my purchase.This is a common business Tactic I have come to find out.I have never been blocked by anyone especially since I do love Jeffree as a person and creator.It could've paid for an extra movie date for my terminally ill husband who still works ,Full-time ,and bought that for me and wished he had more to buy more 😳!
I love ALL of what we did receive but how the site and JS didn’t handle all of the issues I will not be purchasing anything else off of JSC.I think it's sad that a multi-millionaire would act like a petulant toddler when things are not going his way or things heat up and he's fierce af.WE are YOUR customers.Giving you our HARD earned cash.That 40.00 I could've paid for a cartridge of medical marijuana because I have had 40 major surgeries the last knee reconstruction on 12/13/19.My spine, neck and knees are all metal.I wanted to support you and Shane it Just sucked how JSC site is set up.
A pity I couldn’t give ZERO stars
A pity I couldn’t give ZERO stars. Placed my order on the 29th November 2019, Christmas present for my daughter. Just picked up the Jeffrey star products date 8th January 2020 from my local Post Office Depot only to be charged additional £15.20 for customs. Contacted Jeffree customer service only to be told I should of read the FAQ regarding customs charges, unbelievable. Only took 6 weeks to arrive and to be charged another £15 quid for the privilege. I won’t be ordering anything from Jeffree again, defo nothing free with JEFFREE!!!!!
An update to my previous review
An update to my previous review. The order I placed on 29 November finally arrived yesterday on 6 January. Far too late to be the Christmas gift I had intended it to be. So I’m out of pocket because I had to buy another gift to replace it.
I genuinely do not understand why Jeffree Star, knowing full well his business was already struggling to ship after the Shane Dawson collaboration launch then launched mystery boxes and Black Friday sales. The only answer I can come up with is greed and ego.
I still have not received a reply to the enquiry I sent on 12 December asking for a status update on my order. This is absolutely appalling customer service. It’s basic business 101 to respect and communicate with customers.
The product itself? I had only ordered two lip glosses and decided I might as well keep them myself. Firstly, the colours are not accurately depicted on the website. Secondly, the applicator is very, very flimsy and I doubt very much that it will last the life of the product.
I’ve learnt a valuable lesson. Buy from tried, trusted and reputable brands and don’t fall for questionable YouTube so called influencer hype.
I will never order from this brand again and I strongly suggest that, rather than flaunt his extravagant lifestyle paid for by his adoring fans, Jeffree Star concentrates on addressing the problems in his business.

Ordered products for my daughter for Christmas. The next day I got an order confirmation. 16 days later (day after christmas) got an email saying that my order was canceled as they didn't have the product to fulfill the order.
This is the type of service that will kill a reputation.

After they answered that my package was lost I checked again for any activity a month later (20 december) just out of curiosity and to my surprise the package was active again since december 12 despite the fact that I turned on updates on both mail and phone and thinking my package had gone missing. After that I tried everything to find out where my package was, nobody responded and I could not reach the postal service it was supposed to be delivered by. I went to the postoffice twice to ask if they knew more, nothing. I called every place I had ever gone to pick up a package from, if they had something with my name on it, nothing. I was getting stressed because I knew if I didn't pick it up it would be returned to sender. A friend of mine helped me to track the package and tried al the tracking numbers on different postal sites and that's how we finally found where the package was when I had to pick it up, unfortunately too late. It is being returned to sender and if I still want it I probably have to go through all this again... Let's not even think about the additional costs from customs. Fun experience.
Unhappy grandmother
On Cyber Monday I ordered makeup for my granddaughter. On Dec 2 got confirmation. Dec 13 shipment would be the 19. On Dec 27 my ordered was cancelled. What a disappoint, and I will stick to the tried and true companies. He definitely needs a new staff and people who can get his orders taken care of.

Absolutely gutted
So I order from their website on the 29th November as alot of people did for the black friday, still no items the item arrived in the UK on the 19th but I have not received an update. Emailed the company twice and not had replies from either, one a month ago the other over a week ago. I was aware of a delay as I'm in the UK and jeffree commented about it on his channel but did expect to wait this long. This was my first order from them and will not be ordering again. I can't find anything out about my order from both royal mail or jeffree star cosmetics
Bought a mini conspiracy palette on…
Bought a mini conspiracy palette on launch for my girlfriend and expected to arrive before our anniversary which was a month after my order. Not only that it didn't arrive on time but it arrived almost 2 months after (they say that it would take max 2 weeks, but I gave it a month because they had a lot of orders), a day before Christmas. I'm not happy that I paid 10$ for shipping and 18$ for customs because the same palette arrived in our stores prior to our anniversary and I shouldn't have paid for any shipping or customs. Customer service is horrible, they wouldn't answer to any of my two e-mails which were sent about a month apart from each other.
Cigarette smell during unboxing
I was kind of disappointed with my experience with JSC. I watch Jeffree everyday, huge fan, and my boyfriend knows it. He bought me his beauty killer palette for x-mas (love it) and he also got me a liquid lip(also great). I had similar issues with shipping, he bought his order on Black Friday and it didn’t come in til 1/2/2020 and I live in NY(that’s insane). I wasn’t surprised because on the launch with Shane. The thing that disappointed me most was my unboxing experience. Jeffree prides himself on his packaging so, I was looking forward to it. I opened up my pink JSC box to check out my goodies and got SMACKED in the face with the smell on cigarettes. Absolutely disgusting. The pink bubble wrap WREAKED. My boyfriend looked disgusted too. Hopefully this was an isolated problem but, it seems Like the company is struggling with quality lately.

Sorry for the long review in advance, however, I, like everyone else here have a lot to say about his abysmal “business”. Ordered twice from them. Once on 1st November with 3 products ( order no.1), and then again on November 5th with the preorder palette ( order number 2).
Same as everyone else, shipping was VERY late but my first order eventually came over to the UK. I got a customs notice through the door for £30 which i thought was horrific being about 1/2 the price of the items and postage anyway. Unable to pay the customs fee ( I’m a student with little money and bought the items as a treat. I never buy “merch” or makeup for that matter - I just didn’t expect or budget for the additional charge) I requested Royal Mail send the package back, to which they did and told me it’d arrive in no longer than a week!
Here I am still waiting 2-3 weeks later for any response.
My second order however, I didn’t expect to arrive for another month yet if we’re being realistic - all my hopes had been lost, of a package arriving on time from that company. I managed to cancel half the items in this order before it left the warehouse and I got a refund for those which was a plus but then it was shipped.
I received an email yesterday saying that my second order had been received back in their warehouse? And that’s I needed to reply and ask for a refund or reply and ask for them to resend the package. I was confused, but with the fuss of the first package, I just asked for a refund. After sending about 10 emails one after another ( I figured the only way to get my refund and get noticed on the mailing list was to pester them. Seemed to work) they gave me my further refund for the whole order. They still however, say they’re “unable” to refund me shipping costs, even though those items never left their facility?! Nevertheless I’m sick of having to chase them and I’m happy with my $132 refund.
Still waiting for news on the first order though. Who knows where it is!
I’ve tweeted about this multiple times trying to get his attention, I’ve left reviews, I’ve done all I can. But all Jeffree can do is live in his million dollar mansion flaunting his new products and yet half his customers are without refunds, answered, responses and products! Outrageous if you ask me. A millionaire businessman that can’t handle the huge traffic that he knew he would receive with his Shane Dawson launch, and then doing another launch AND Black Friday mystery boxes on top of that? The man did this to himself and has completely thrown his employees under the bus. A millionaire that simply can’t employ more people to answer emails all day? Terrible
I bought the conspiracy palette from the Jeffree Star Company
I bought the conspiracy palette from the Jeffree star X Shane Dawson collaboration and when I bought the palette I paid more than usual for the shipping which I thought was fair enough since I was shipping it from California to England ($10) but then I had to pay another £16 customs charge which I wasn't best pleased about but I thought hey I've got the palette now. I received the palette and it was all that I was expecting and I was really happy with the product and how it looked on my eyes but then the itching happened. I found out that I am allergic to the palette which I am really mad about because I paid enough to receive the palette and now I'm allergic to it.i know there is nothing that the Jeffree Star Company can do about this but just wanted to give people a heads up that if you're shipping it to your house you may have to pay extra to receive it. also just that if you have any issues with your skin or it's sensitive then I wouldn't recommend paying out for this makeup. I have nothing against the Jeffree Star company and I was satisfied and think it was worth the quality for the money I paid but I'm just annoyed that I cannot use it and I spent quite a lot on it.

Ive had two very negative experiences
Ive had two very negative experiences with this company. I don’t necessarily buy makeup very often. It wasn’t until my wife started to experiment with her makeup that I started purchasing products for her mainly as gifts. She talked about a specific palette that she wanted for WEEKS. It was Shane Dawson’s palette. The events that incurred are well documented so I don’t think I have to explain too much. Jeffree said that they simply were not expecting the high volume of purchases which is understandable. We eventually got over the disappointment and by the time Black Friday came around my wife had already set her sight on a few products and she discreetly brought them up to hint that she wanted them. So I purchased two lipsticks, a lip gloss and a highlight. After about 15 days my items had not shipped. A few days later I overhear my wife watching Jeffree on her phone and Jeffree says that some items purchased on Black Friday would not ship in time for Christmas due to what? You guessed it “high volume of sells”. Her items ended up arriving on December 30th, over a month after being ordered. It’s unacceptable. It’s not like Black Friday is a new thing, and it’s not like this is a new and inexperienced company. My wife loves Jeffree and admired him very much so she will likely continue to be a costumer but personally I would not put up with costumer service like this from any company no matter how much I liked the owner of the brand. They need to be better.
