Very sketchy business practices

Very sketchy business practices! They really messed my daughter over! She made a mistake on her order and cancelled it immediately. She received cancellation confirmation so she placed a new order correctly. They sent both orders. Customer service would not respond to her at all so she disputed it with her credit card company. After over a month the credit card company wanted a copy of the cancellation email. SOMEHOW they were able to block it it. Now where it said cancellation confirmed it just says /info. I have been buying and recommending this brand to family and friends but that stops now. I will no longer be doing business or recommending a company I can’t trust!

In reference to order #JSC7637165.

In reference to order #JSC7637165.
Placed this order 24th April 2023, from Barcelona, Spain.
Once it arrived in Europe, for some reason, (probably a mistake on Jeffree Star's end) the order couldn't be delivered and started its way back to the USA.
I did not get any info, nobody apologised, I asked for my money back and I have been ghosted for almost two weeks, and still no update. Hence I was forced to report the transaction to my card holder and opened a dispute, only THEN, "Sasha" threatened me to refuse help (No help ever existed but w/e) unless I dropped the dispute.
Don't shop here from outside the USA, it's a NIGHTMARE.

Really bad I am connected with…

Really bad I am connected with solicitors. I ordered and bought a fitness outfit on the January 2023. I told delivery was 15 days. That hasn’t happen. And I don’t get any emails. I been asking and told fulfilment. Shouldn’t tell a delivery date then doesn’t happen. If I’m not getting it. Should be given the money back. People please be careful ordering with companies haven’t. I wanted that but not happening.

Horrible customer service

I placed an order as a birthday gift to someone. Purchased three items, only received two. Same day I received delivery of the 2 items I gifted them and contacted customer service. I had no idea they would want photos of the actual items received. The one they forgot to send was on sale and the cheapest. They refuse to assist. I sent pictures of box it arrived in with the invoice, was 100% sealed with company logo tape, no tamper during delivery. They refuse to send me the missing item and/or refund me. I cannot ask for the gifts back, how embarrassing would that be!?! I have spent hundreds of dollars with this company; I have been a huge supporter…never again! If this company isn’t concerned about their customers then I promise I am no longer concerned either. All I’ve asked for is what I paid for, that is all.

I ordered the mystery box (valentines)

I ordered the mystery box (valentines). $178.00 taken out of my account. I received the black box. It said 1of1 on it. Tried to contact someone. Haven’t been acknowledged yet. I really want my pink box. They took the money for it but I haven’t received it. I don’t know what to do. I am 55 and will probably be dead before I get the box.I do love the products in the black box for that is five star all the way

I paid for 3 day shipping

I paid for 3 day shipping, and it said I would receive it 6 days later. Do not pay extra to ship it faster. It is now the 7th day and I still have no received it.

I love the Jeffree Star Skin

I love the Jeffree Star Skin. My favorite part is the toner. I love the smell. I can smell awhile after I used it. However, after using the Make Me Melt and the cleanser there was makeup still on my skin. My skin looks brighter and feels good. More to be revealed.

Took 3 weeks to receive order!

Ordered on 12/20/22, shipped on 12/30/22, and delivered on 1/10/23 🤦🏻‍♀️…that is absolutely not normal. When should a transaction ever take 3 weeks to be completed??? I’ve bought things abroad that have come quicker.

Never again …

Wish I would have checked reviews before order was placed. Placed my order almost 2 weeks ago still not processed. Contacted “customer care” and was told 14 days to process and they would be closed January 2-8 for mandatory inventory. (Not noted when order was placed) So who knows when they will get around to processing my order. And they also say about 10 days after it’s shipped to receive. While any other company takes 10 days max for the entire transaction, Jeffree Star people need a month or so…..Never again.

I bought the new mirror and palette…

I bought the new mirror and palette that came out in November 2022 which cost me around $91 and shipping/taxes cost $34 dollars as I live in the UK. When I received the product which was a Christmas present, the mirror was in perfect condition, however the palette could have been packaged better considering it has fragile contents inside. When opening the palette, one of the shades was broken to which I sent an email with photos to the customer service team. They told me I could either have a replacement or refund, which I thought was great and went with the refund option as I didn’t want to risk getting another damaged product. They then told me I had to send the product back in order to get a refund and would send me a returns label, however I was not happy about this as I had already spent enough on shipping and would need to pay for shipping again. So I asked them to at least give me a partial refund as this was an issue their end on packaging their products etc. The best they could do was 10% and I could keep the palette - considering that this was a $60 palette. I was a valued customer but after this I won’t be buying from there again as their emails appeared snarky and didn’t really care about my customer experience. If you do buy from there, I would only buy non fragile items!!

customer service & shipping is worst

I purchased on 23 Sep and today is 18 Oct. It already takes 25 days now and I still cannot get my parcel.
Last time, the shipping lost my parcel. This time they are still using the same shipping company.

Besides, the customer service Krystal keep copying the same sentences and not helping at all. And still using Covid19 as an excuse.

According to above reasons, I will not consider JS products anymore and not recommend it to everyone.

Worst customer service

I ordered for the first time from Jeffree star, and now will never ever order again as I had the worst purchase experience. Customer service of Jeffree Star is of garbage grade. They never ever bother to respond to you, and in case they even respond, they will never every answer your question, rather they will write a nonsense response, about which you never asked. In my order, two lipsticks were delivered in defective condition and I sent them all the images to prove. To this, they replied me after 1 week and then said that there is no defect at all, so they were turning a blind eye to it, so as to hide that it was indeed their fault. Second problem, they charge exorbitant amount in the name of international shipping, however they choose the cheapest DHL package for delivery, which means that once the package reaches destination country, the customer would have to pay huge customs duty as they had opted fot a cheap DHL package (DHL offers a good package where all charges are borne by them, but JSC doesn't choose it even after charging a huge shipping charge to customers). People working at JSC including Jeffree himself never accept their mistakes, rather they will go all the possible ways to prove that customer was responsible, even though it wasn't the case. Jeffree should teach himself and his customer service team, some good manners. They all are very rude. They should learn to respect the value of people's hard earned money. I wish there was an option to give zero star review, however 1 star is the minimum requirement, hence I am choosing one star, otherwise would have given zero star.

Great, except...

Love the JSC brand and products. It is fairly priced. Not many cosmetic brands value the aesthetic of beauty products. All of JSC are custom designed and definitely doesn't cheap out on packaging. It shows that the owner cares about the quality of the products and its consumers. My one thorn, I do wish the minimum purchase amount was lower for free shipping.

Has always been great

I've ordered from the official Jeffree Star website a handful of times over the past few years, and have never encountered any problems. I've always had amazing experiences with the products I've recieved, nothing else that I've used has ever compared. I live in Canada and I've always recieved my packages at the estimated date. Sorry to see that so many others have not had the same experience :S.

OMG, Where should I begin?

OMG, where shall I begin? To be fair, I actually used to like this company, and his products. But that was back quite a few years ago, right after his MYSPACE days when he first started his company. The products back then were of good quality, the packaging was very pretty and the customer service was good. Fast forward to present day. The products are horrible! The packaging looks like they dug it out of a dumpster, and there is NO customer service! Let's take the drop of the " Cremated " palette during a worldwide pandemic, very poor taste. And only a mortician would have need of so many shades of yuck. This was followed by another disaster called the " Orgy " palette. Again who would buy 30 shades of kucka??? This guy has been smoking too much ganga. Or not enough. You decide.

Lazy company

It's good I tried to email them and see how the response is. They never replied at all, initially only an automatic email that showed a generic answer, not even what I asked and even after I replied that email, nothing received after. So if they are too lazy or maybe no staff to even reply customers then forget it. I can't trust them to do things properly. And I see here many people didn't get their orders so I'm glad I checked here.
