We have had Terry as our insurance broker for our business for over 12 years now.

Over the years we have compared prices and other services, but none have matched the service that we get from Terry.

Sadly I had to claim on my household items damaged in transit / storage recently, the claim was agreed and a settlement figure of less than one fifth the replacement cost was decided by the adjuster, which I disagreed with immediately. Unfortunately the claims adjuster decided I could buy a replacement mattress used on eBay and that was good enough.
After several emails it was apparent he cared as little for fair and reasonable as I do for vegetarian food and I gave up the fight in order to maintain my own sanity.

Any excuse to wriggle out of a claim

We previously used Aon as the insurance broker for our professional indemnity insurance at JR Accounts. However, in 2023, Aon provided us with a very expensive quotation, prompting us to explore other options. We reached out to Jensten Insurance Brokers to see if they could find a more cost-effective policy - and we’re so glad we did.
While reviewing Aon’s proposal, Jensten not only identified that the policy didn’t meet regulatory requirements but also uncovered critical gaps in our coverage as a small business.

Muazzez, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable about regulatory requirements for accountants and businesses in general, ensuring we secured a fully compliant policy with coverage for risks we hadn’t even considered. She provided invaluable advice and assistance at no additional cost and even negotiated a discounted premium for us!

Having dealt with Jensten for over a year now I feel I can recommend their services, extremely professional, competitive and customer service oriented.

Absolutely shocking company. Im going down the legal route to help me sort my no fault claim after 6 weeks of nothing from this company. They passed the claim to Reserve as they are a third party company, Jenston pass claims over and between 2 companies their staff are unable to make a phone call.

A 'No Fault Claim' as my van was hit and left, £1200 premium for absolutely nothing, £1200 and you can't even make 1 telephone call to me.

Spent 20mins answering all sorts of questions, promised a quotation same day, still waiting a week later, took my business elsewhere.

Never replied to email enquiry.

Obviously don't need new customers.

Been 8 weeks still not even got a reply to a claim. Total waste of time, no customer service. No reply at all just get told to wait 5-7days each time.

My name is Greg McAllen. I am the proprietor of a small business, 4Play Jeep, based in Rutland, UK. We specialise in Jeep brand vehicles, both workshops and new parts supply.
Being 63 years old, I have been in the motor trade for over 45 years and had motor trade insurance with various companies for 40 years.
Jensten Motor Trade, DA6 7DQ, wrote to us, informing of how they could save us money and other benefits over and above existing policies.
On 12th February I contacted them, via email, for a quotation, using information from their earlier letter that we had retained on file.
I received a telephone call from a guy named Paul. After a few questions, of which I provided honest answers, taking a couple of minutes max, Paul told me he would call me back. One of the questions was 'do I use or supply secondhand parts'. Now, answering honestly, very occasionally we do, due to the fact either new parts are not available, or on lengthy back order. I did inform Paul we do not supply, or use in our workshop, used safety related parts such as steering, suspension, braking system parts or tyres.
Paul informed me he would call me back again.
He did so, within a few minutes.
He informed me Jensten Insurance could not help me as they do not want 'your kind of business' whatever he meant by that. Obviously these guys have no idea of the situation of parts supply within the motor industry, especially since Covid 19. Or perhaps they consider businesses selling, storing and maintaining EV's are less risk! Our workshops are exceptionaly clean, well decorated, well equipped with modern tooling, diagnostics and lifts and all equipment, vehicle lifts, Teletruks, etc are safety tested and kept in date. Why bother going to the expense of posting out letters advertising their services? I cannot imagine what business they are attempting to attract within the motor industry. I concluded, when using comments such as this, these folk are 'up-their-own-bottom' scum and it is highly likely there is much truth to other reviews on here. My advice is steer clear of this time-wasting company (using new parts of course).
