I had a fabulous experience with Jessica. She was one of my favourite suppliers for my wedding day, and an absolute dream to work with. She is so friendly and easy to talk to that my trial was like having a catch up with one of my girlfriends. The makeup that she did for me and my bridal party was spot on, everyone loved it. We all had a gorgeous natural glow, and the eyelashes were amazing quality and were glued on to perfection. I would hands down recommend her to everyone I know. I wish she lived closer to me as I'd use her for more special occasions. Best of wishes with your wedding day! x

Jessica is absolutely amazing! If you’re wondering whether to book her for your wedding, just do it!! She made myself and my bridesmaids feel like a million dollars and everyone’s make up lasted all day, despite us starting at the crack of dawn. I don’t think I have ever looked better! We had to move our wedding back due to the pandemic and she was super understanding and accommodating, especially with last minute changes with my MIL wanting her make up doing. I cannot recommend her enough, your make up is so so important on your wedding day and Jessica is THE BEST.

I chose Jessica to be my make up artist for our wedding day on the 28th June 2021! I planned our wedding in 2 years from getting engaged and spent a lot of time researching to find a make up artist who could travel without too much travel fees and could do the look I envisaged as a bride.

I met Jessica in March 2021 for a bridal trial with my mum. Jessica was very patient especially with the restrictions in place due to covid and spent time listening to what style we would like and how much make up we usually wear so that I could feel 'myself' yet glammed up!

On the wedding day, Jessica did my mother in law and my three bridesmaids in addition to me and mum. My bridal squad loved their make up and we had so many compliments throughout the day!

My make up lasted the whole day too but was easy to remove when needed. I also have very sensitive skin and the following day I had no reaction from the make up which was a bonus!

Thank you Jessica! I will be recommending you to all my bride friends and hope to have my make up done with you again in the near future!

I first saw Jessica on instagram, i fell in love with all her work and how natural and stunning she makes everyone look.

She was so understanding and accommodating due to our postponement due to COVID.

When we FINALLY got to arrange our trial she made myself, my mom & my maid of honour feel comfortable and worked her magic and made us all feel beautiful!

On the wedding day she works to perfection managed to get us all ready before we needed to and stayed to touch us up after the church!

Everyone complemented me on how i looked, i would 100% recommend Jessica not only a wizard with make up but also a really lovely person

Jessica is a make up god! I don’t know where to begin saying thank you. She did my wedding make up along with the majority of the bridal party and honestly made everyone look so beautiful! I hadn’t even heard of half the tools she used! The make up remained not just for the day, but I was still intact the next morning! Thank you so much for everything!!

Jess did myself and bridal party makeup last weekend for my wedding and I honestly couldn’t have been happier with it! My makeup stayed on all day, along with my lashes and I didn’t need to re-apply anything which was great.
Bridal makeup is tricky for someone like me who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup generally, because you need to look more “made up” than usual so that you look good in photos but also ensure you still look like yourself in real life.
I would really recommend Jess - she is personable, friendly and can’t do enough for you on the day, she made me feel amazing.

Jessica did my bridal makeup and makeup for my bridal party of 7 others, last week. I’ll start off by saying that the makeup is incredible. I found Jess in 2018 where I asked her to do bridal makeup for a friend as a wedding gift, and again in 2019 for another bride. Her makeup skills don’t come into question, she is incredibly talented. Every occasion is immaculate.
I went to my trial with a vision of how I wanted to look and she created it perfectly. I then decided that the (incredible) look just wasn’t what I wanted to look back on in my wedding photos (bold red lip), and Jessica went above and beyond to change my entire look at short notice. The trial was amazing and she was so attentive, but the actual wedding day makeup was even more unreal! I’ve never felt more beautiful and my makeup was flawless. All my of bridesmaids were over the moon with their makeup too. Despite having 8 faces to paint, she took her time and didn’t rush so everyone felt equally as beautiful.
I also feel the need to address a couple of negatives I’ve seen…. These reviews reflect on such a strange and uncertain times we have all experienced with the Covid pandemic. I appreciate that many brides have lost money through their many postponements and are trying to recover costs, but this should not be at the expense of suppliers who have lost a year of income. Presumably brides have still continued to receive a salary (furlough, working or otherwise) but this can not be said for suppliers in the wedding industry. I had a back up date pencilled in which Jess could not accommodate due to being booked - not for a second did I consider requesting my money back if we ended up postponing. Every supplier has a deposit for a reason and I struggle to understand how unforgiving some people have been during Covid. These suppliers have had the worst time without grants/support yet have still been willing to move dates time and time again and Jess is no exception. Suppliers have to draw a line somewhere with their good will, but I was so lucky with all of mine!
Back to the original point - I decided to go ahead with my original date and had the most beautiful makeup for it! In fact I unintentionally had two days wear out of it - oops! Thank you Jess for making me and my bridesmaids look and feel amazing! 🤍

Jessica is amazing!
I felt like she really listened and took on board what I wanted. I looked like the best version of myself & my husband said it was the best I've ever looked (and he's not keen on a lot of makeup).
I was pretty nervous on the morning of my wedding but Jessica was so lovely and claiming, my bridesmaids and mum looked stunning! Could recommend her enough 💕

Jessica is so talented, she listened to what I wanted to achieve on the day and took on board how I would ‘normally’ do my own make up and we worked together to achieve my perfect look. I was initially worried About having my make up done for my wedding because I wanted to still look like me, but I had nothing to worry about. After my tried Jessica made a few slight tweaks on the day and made sure I was 100% happy with my final look before she left. Jessica uses high quality make up which gives amazing coverage without looking to heavy and photographs so well! I would definitely recommend Jessica Ava she really is amazing.

Best make up artist by far! Jessica is amazing and super friendly! I had my bridal trial along with my sister and from the moment we met Jessica she put us both at ease! Nothing was too much trouble and not being a massive make up wearer I was very nervous! But I honestly didn’t need to be! I wanted a natural look with a bit of glam for my special day and Jessica did just that and so much more! I cannot wait to see all my bridal party on my special day as I truly believe we will all look fabulous!! Thank you Jessica for such a great morning and agreeing to be part of my wedding day! Me and my mom went for our trial for my wedding makeup, we had the best experience! We both don’t wear a lot of makeup and felt at ease the whole way through, we were asked our day to day makeup routine and how we’d like it on the day, and from that gave all options, tried different things, my mom in particular has never had her make up done by anybody other than herself, and stuff that she thought she’d like to try but also may not want (the you don’t know till you try) Jessica was willing to try and if she felt it wasn’t for her she’d take it off and try something different. We felt at ease the whole way through, and pampered, Jessica was chatty the whole way through, can’t wait for the big day to have it all done again and for my bridesmaids to be dolled up too!

Highly recommend Jessica!! Amazing person and very talented artist. She will not only do a fabulous job with her work but make you feel really special in the process. 👏👏👏

Where to start with my experience so far?
I have to say that Jessica has been so helpful from the get go since booking in with her over 18months ago.
I have booked Jessica for my wedding day make up and honestly couldn’t be happier with her services so far.
She has always been on hand and responded to my emails whenever I have reached out to her and has always put me at ease. Jessica is extremely friendly and easy to get along with and have a chat too.
During the current times we are living in, it was so wonderful to attend my make up trial with Jessica to discuss my wedding day look. She listened carefully to what I wanted and ensured she matched the right shades and tones to suit my colouring. I was really pleased with the final look that Jessica had created and the flawless finish. The time spent at the trial just flew by. It was lovely to chat with someone who is also going through the process of getting married and to discuss our days together. It made me extremely excited for the big day.
After coming home and sharing photos with my bridesmaids, they also were looking forward to getting their make up done by Jessica after saying how beautiful it looked.

I have used Jessica Ava as a make up artist a few times now & will continue to do so for the future. She is absolutely fabulous at what she does and really is a true natural!

I first required her services when I needed a make up artist for a photo shoot for my new bikini company I launched in 2018! She was so professional and made everyone feel at ease, and most importantly we all felt so beautiful!! We all got along so well, it was a great day and Jessica really contributed to that! Low and behold I did! I booked her to do my make up for my big day (wedding) that was planned for 2020! Unfortunately due to COVID this date has to be rescheduled... contacting and rescheduling this with Jessica was so easy and she really gave me her time to ensure I was happy with everything! She's a super star!
The first time I had seen Jessica's work was at a friends wedding back in 2018, she made the bride look so amazing I knew whenever I was going to get married that she would be the make-up artist for me! She was the first person I emailed after choosing our venue and I found out what a lovely, caring person she is. She's been so supportive and helpful as we've had to move our wedding THREE times, it really shows that she cares. I cannot wait to have her there on our special day. Everyone says when it comes to your special day that you surround yourself with friends and family and Jessica definitely fits in there! She's super talented and such an amazing person I'd highly recommend her to anyone, what a gem!

Where do I start with this review? Jess from the second I got engaged was a huge priority to book with, after seeing her work, her reviews and personal experiences with her I knew she was the one to include in our bridal prep. I first met Jess at a Masterclass event she hosted, she was so lovely, so talented and educational, and she created such an amazing makeup look on the model. I came away with the best tips and recommendations.
After meeting Jess at her masterclass I knew I wanted to book Jess for my special birthday.
I was so so happy with my finished look, I felt amazing. Jess made me feel so comfortable throughout and she completely made the look I was hoping for, and better!

The lovely Jessica did my bridesmaid makeup back in May 2019 and, I have to be honest, I was a little nervous - being someone who loves makeup herself! However, I absolutely did not need to be as Jessica was perfect. She listened to me jabber on about how important my eyebrows were (I even showed pics!) and made myself, and the other bridesmaids, feel like absolute princesses! Jessica is so friendly and down to earth and not to mention super talented. A true artist at what she does. My makeup was beautiful and I couldn’t have been happier. It’s one thing to do someone’s makeup, it’s another to adjust your technique to someone’s features and preferences and this is exactly what I feel Jessica does wonderfully. Also, the bride looked absolutely incredible!! Highly recommend! Xx

After hearing tons of glowing recommendations about Jess I just had to check out her work on Instagram. I'd been looking for the right makeup artist for my wedding for such a long time and was so excited when I saw how flawless and natural her work was. I just knew that she was perfect for what I wanted.

I was so nervous about my makeup for my wedding as I can be so fussy about the way my makeup is done, but my mind was eased so quickly during the trial. Jess was so friendly and kind. We had a thorough consultation before hand and looked through my inspiration photos. Jess was completely honest with me and showed me what would and wouldn't work on my face shape and skin tone. I had never felt as beautiful as I did when she did my makeup that day. After this I was so excited for my wedding day.

On the day of the wedding Jess made me feel like a queen. My makeup was so perfect and it lasted all day and night. She made my day so special and I couldn't be more greatful.
