I need a ring upsizing, I originally went to a jewellers my local town, and was told “No it couldn't be done, due to the stones in my ring will fall out”
So i went online to get a second opinion.
I message John and he was very quick to reply, very helpful and immediately gave me a quote.
I posted my ring on a Monday, it arrived to John Tuesday morning, by Tuesday lunch I have an email saying ring has arrived and the work is done. John posted it back on the Tuesday and I was wearing it Wednesday. The ring looks fantastic. Thank you so much, I appreciate all your work.

I contacted John through his website on January 10th and had a very prompt reply asking for more information. John was great at communicating what could and could not be done with the three rings I had asked about. I posted them on Saturday 17th using the envelope that John had sent me. Today is January 21st and here I am sitting in the highland wearing my perfectly fitting rings! Now if that’s not great service then I don’t know what is. Thanks John ☺️

John the owner promptly quoted to repair a ring on Friday evening, photos sent and a repair price agreed, the ring was posted recorded Saturday received and repaired to as new condition on the Monday and received back registered post on the Wednesday

After contacting Jewellery Repairs Online, I sent my engagement ring to John for resizing. I was kept informed every step of the way, from when John received the ring, to the repairs it required, how much it would cost and when it would be returned to me via special delivery (fully insured). I found this very reassuring. I was delighted with the resizing and I'm extremely happy to be wearing my ring again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John and the professional service that he offers.

Amazing reading all these positive reviews and I found just the opposite. I'm guessing my job was too small. John told me in a one line email that he could not source the stones. Amazing considering I found them online for 68p. I wasn't asking for the Cullinan Diamond to be nicked. Just similar stones to what I had. My real problem is, that these online businesses hide behind the internet when they just don't feel like taking it further and won't even continue a dialogue - you get ghosted. Had I walked in to a shop we would have had a chat and probably resolved it there and then. I'm sure you are very busy John - then get another person to keep your online interactions as pleasant as if we had met in person. An AI interaction would have been more helpfull that your reply.
•I got no suggestion on what the problem was and why he could not source the stones - so it sounded like a convenient answer for something he just didn't want to do.
• No suggestion of an alternative solution or stone.
• No suggestion of whether someone else could help me.
• No answer to whether I could source the stones my self and return
• Nothing.

Ive always been a little sceptical of online jewellery repairs - you know...diamonds being swopped etc So now my fears are confirmed and rather than thinking it is actually a clever way of doing jewellery repairs - I'm back to old Mr Jones in the high street.

Clever answer John...you need an Oscar for that, you come across as SO humble. But its rubbish that anyone welcomes negative reviews, so I see that as merely a tactic to negate my comment. Tell you what - put your money where your mouth is and post this in its entirety on your review page? Got the balls?

The reality is I know these are just bog standard black cubic pavé (nasty and cheap as chips) that are needed for a cheap relatively nasty ring - but a dialogue at the very least would have allowed me to tell you I didn't care about any minor discrepancy - you can barely see them missing as it is.

As for your business pressures - well then don't have a business model that can't handle the jewellery industry standard of needing half-decent bedside manners AND be at the work bench. You have actually created a rod for your own back: You have a lovely and very professional web site and present your company using "we" and "us" rhetoric, implying you have a 'team' around you and are so much more that just one man in his garage. But we see you are in fact, just that. So don't play the "working me lil old fingers to the bone" card, because it's you who doesn't know how to manage what you have created dude.

You've done it now - you've let us see behind the curtain. They all know.....

I sent my wedding ring to be resized on Monday after emailing John through the website on Sunday, I received my ring back on Wednesday, fitting perfectly and looking brand new. The price was cheaper than any others I had enquired with and the service was second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend or use this service again.

I don’t usually post reviews but John's fee, communication throughout and work were all fantastic. The reason I took a chance was because of the reviews on Trustpilot and therefore thought I would also share my positive experience for others to find. My ring was sent by guaranteed delivery on the Tuesday for 4 replacement claws and a re-size and it arrived back with me on the Friday. Couldn’t believe how quickly the work was complete and the price was way lower than my local jewellers quoted. Massively recommended.

I contacted John after finding his website online, I was told by all of my local jewellers that it was impossible to resize my wedding band and engagement ring, John asked for some pictures and assured me it would be possible, gave me a reasonable price and a super fast turn around time.
I have received the rings back and I am absolutely amazed, they are the perfect size, they have been polished and I can finally wear them again,

I lost the main diamond from my engagement ring whilst on holiday, I was so upset. I contacted John who advised me. I sent my ring to him prior to purchasing a new stone.. to ensure I was looking for the correct size diamond. I bought a replacement diamond from 77 diamonds (John recommended) and sent it to him. Very quick turnaround and I’m absolutely delighted with the result! Great communication throughout (apologies to John as I have a habit of asking lots of questions ha!)
