I booked the appointment
They did a engine and gearbox remap tune
I had a slight challenge with the 10 speed box
And had to book a return visit it was minimal to the point on the way down it did it once which was debatable and thought it might be me .
There was a slight challenge booking back as I wanted it asap ie yesterday as I am not the easiest customer to deal with and expect customer service to be first class as these works are not cheap.and in my business that’s what i expect and try and deliver 120%.
I returned Saturday morning and the guy I dealt with has been there 10years he was honest where he could have said he didn’t find anything ,said there was a slight discrepancy on the programme and tweaked it .
Driving back yesterday it is fantastic , the low and mid range power is what I wanted just to feel the vehicle has the power it should have as this is where I felt it was falling short for the look and the cost.

When you worry about main dealer or warranty finding out don’t as they are letting there customers down.
Also I am factoring in that JF have a work shop and that makes you feel confident
This is a life time guarantee with the work
I won’t go anywhere else and would highly recommend .

These guys carried out an Adblue delete when we were on our way to the ferry for Dunkirk and saved us from imminent disaster. Despite having a full tank of Adblue our Engine Management System informed us of a vehicle shut down in 200 miles! No more Adblue issues for us. Well done guys!

I had a performance tune on my Skoda kodiaq at JF Automotive it has boosted the BHP from 190 to 260 wow!!!, the lad I met on arrival was very polite and receptive giving me a rough time when it would be completed, also the booking process was simple, I was kept updated regards completion , the difference is decent and overtaking on the motorway is a lot smoother and responsive, acceleration from a standing start is pretty good too, overall very happy with the upgrade and the company in general,

Ceramic Quicksilver Exhaust fitted, Remap, rear springs and new suspension bushes supplied and fitted.

This is NOT an easy car to work on….but the service and quality is exceptional.

This car was already extremely fast - it is now supersonic!!!

Bit conflicted about this review, I'm thinking 5 stars for the outcome but 3 stars for the experience.

I had an engine + gearbox tune and whilst the engine was fine, the gearbox tune introduced some issues:
1. Stuck in second gear in urban driving, would not change up from 2nd to 3rd meaning it was quite noisy and not very nice to drive.
2. Cruise control would continuously shift between 4th and 5th on any incline; on steeper inclines it would shift up into 6th then the engine revs would drop, the car stutter such that I had to pull it out of cruise so it would change down.

They fixed it after a second visit and it's much better now and in fact I'm delighted with the results as it's really made the car much stronger.

However, they were not very good at saying what had been done or what they did to fix. Made me a bit nervous that there would still be issues after the second visit but it's fine now.

I also booked in for a cold air intake but this also had to wait for the second visit as the wrong one ordered for the first visit.

I chose this firm because they said they did a lot of Audis so I hadn't expected there to be problems or to have to go back.

To their credit, they didn't quibble but I would prefer they'd communicated a bit more about the problem and what they did to fix. In the end it's alright now.

I arrived 45 minutes late for an 08:00 appointment/slot. I mentioned being late and it wasn't an issue. I was told I could sit and wait in reception. Within an hour the issue I came in for was resolved. Made payment and I was at home on time for my Meeting. Friendly and Professional Staff. Constantly in communication from when I first made contact. I would recommend this Organization to anyone. Thanks

Good service on time, and competitive, against the other providers.

Got my BMW i8 tuned with JFA and straight away it's a noticeable difference with the pull and 0-60 times. Overall was a professional and detailed visit, they did all the necessary checks and made sure everything was done with the right steps.

Second time back now to JFA automotive Kent 1st time for an engine & gearbox map absolutely changed the car it is now amazing! Second time was for a dyno on the drag car, friendly staff good equipment free coffee what more do you want definitely recommend

I wanted to use a local company and was pleased I did. Slick booking procedure and they were happy to discuss work over the phone. Work completed promptly and seemingly with no issues.

Had a recent stage 1 remap done at JFA, this is my 2nd vehicle (12 years in-between visits) I've had done by this company. I returned due to their reputation and knowledge. I didn't use their rolling road this visit, I did on my 1st visit, due to not chasing numbers as looking for driveability, and secondly as an mechanical engineer I personally found the sound of cars red lining mechanically wrong, I know it's a very safe process. My answered most of my questions or but 1 regarding LSPI (low speed pre ignition) and how the map could help prevent it. I would reuse JFA again for other vehicles.
