Tech support is out of this world!
I had the pleasure of working with Robert B who was a senior tech there at Jive. He spent a great deal of time with me showing me all the capabilities and features of the JIve Communications platform. There are so many great features available and the interface is rather easy to navigate. They also follow up with your case until your problem is solved. I've used RingCentral and 8X8 and Jive seems to be the best out of them all. I think it is PC Magazine's editors choice for cloud PBX.
Jive Rock Over ALL Others
I must tell you, after having used Nextiva and Ringcentral over the past several years, now that I am an independent having chosen Jive I'm beyond ecstatic. Ringcentral was unstable as all get out, and Nextiva was prohibitively expensive with a cheap rental phone. Jive was not only considerably less expensive, but they provided me with the finest phone I've EVER had in the VOIP world. I am a business development telemarketer for 5 clients and the quality and cost of my VOIP communications is a make it or break it proposition. First the quality of the system is top flight. I've been told for the first time that I sound "like I'm in the room with them" and there hasn't been one glitch. I'm loving the use of my basic Plantronic headphone coupled with the Yealink phone Jive provided me with. The phone finally has large buttons, not the tiny annoying type on the one Nextiva provided (at a fee no less). The support folks at Jive provide "no waiting" support and get right to the heart of what's needed. Setup was instant and no brainer. I'm beyond thrilled with Jive and highly recommend them to everyone I talk to. The rep that set me up was a gem as well. Well done indeed Jive!

Whether you are a novice or an IT geek this is the phone system for you. Have the friendly people at Jive help you set everything up or dive right into the intuitive user interface for more control. You really can do some amazing things with Jive. We are currently using a mixture of CISCO IP Phones and the mobile app deployed over a wide geographic area. The sound quality is top notch.

We switched from RingCentral to Jive
We switched from RingCentral to Jive. Jive appeared to offer the same feature set at a better price. The big selling point was U.S. based technical support. I kept both services for a month, while I test-drove Jive. After a month, I cancelled Ring Central and am very happy overall. Tech support has been outstanding. While there are busy periods, like all vendors, once you get someone on the phone, they are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have never had a problem gone unresolved in one phone call, unlike my prior experience with Ring Central. The technicians are easy to understand and communicate with, and always follow-up!
The service has been stellar - no outages or dropped calls, and clarity has been excellent. The virtual fax works as expected and the auto attendant works great!
I highly recommend Jive. As an added bonus, they include a 1-seat license for GoToMeeting - quite a perk if you use it!

I do not get my phone calls
I do not like Jive. It is way too expensive. Then I found out that you charge extra for helping me work with this over-complicated system. I do not like the platform. The people have been mostly nice, but that first person that I personally talked to acted so put out that I had questions and needed more guidance than what others may need. I hate most everything about it.
