BEWARE: they do not honour their refund policy for faulty items

There are some good reviews on their site mostly for when things go well but when things go wrong it's a different story. My dress arrived with a faulty zipper, so I logged a ticket with photos of evidence to have it returned and refunded. Despite the disappointment of not having a dress to wear to my ball, I've had to look for a back up with very little notice. JJsHouse was very resistant with accepting this return request, asking me to fix the zipper on my end, then offering me a discount to keep the faulty dress, then offered me store credit for the return... After I expressly told them I didn't have time to find an alteration place and get the zipper replaced in time for my ball, they then said they were only going to refund me the faulty item and not cover the postage fees to and from my address, despite the policy on their website stating "worry free refunds" for faulty products would include postage. (though they have since changed their wording on their website)

One thing for sure was that "worry free refund" was anything but worry free! I had spent $224 NZD on this dress that arrived unwearable, not a word of apology and all they cared about was that they would lose money on covering the postage as they explained the funds for postage had already been paid to their third party. There were emails going back and forth for over 2 weeks regarding this refund and them not holding their end of the promise to offer the full refund, they eventually agreed in writing to offer a full refund (though I had to organise posting the faulty item back, they refused to send a prepaid return label) then they would refund my postage separately via Paypal as their system wouldn't allow for refund of postage, which contradicts their refund statement about offering full refunds inclusive of postage.

To this day 6 weeks after I logged the faulty item, they have confirmed receiving the faulty item, but still have not fully refunded all my costs. Each time I email to enquire they would say they are chasing their "processing department" with no follow ups.

If I could give zero star I would, to say this experience has been "poor" is an understatement, I have never dealt with a vendor this unreasonable with such lack of integrity. From what should have been an exciting experience finding a dress for an event, it's left me with disappointment and loss.

I wish you all luck for the product/s to arrive as described, as from my appalling experience there will be problems with refunds if it arrives faulty. But to save yourselves the trouble and for peace of mind, go shop elsewhere.

I noticed after I posted this review on their website, there was a notification that they would review my review before posting, that explains why the reviews on their website are all positive ones.

Buyer beware

Ordered a Jumpsuit for a wedding from JJ's, paid what I thought was £10 in the sale. Positive: was that it arrived when they said it would. Negatives: It was poor quality and not what I expected. I returned the Jumpsuit through the Post Office as directed and expected to have my refund within about 10 days at the most, after 10 days I still hadn't received a refund so contacted them and was told pretty much that the £11.95 that I had paid was for the privilege of trying in on at home and postage costs. Very unhappy that their small print is so small that it's impossible to find. Feel well and truly scammed out of my money

I am very disappointed with JJs, I placed an order for a dress and handbag for a Ball I am attending on Friday. I ordered it 2 weeks ago with next day delivery and I am still waiting for it. I have emailed and messaged customer service who dont seem to care. I cant find a phone number to talk to somebody about this problem.
I DONT NEED THiS PRESSURE RIGHT NOW.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service

I bought a large order of bridesmaids dresses for my wedding. I had issues with them from the start.

First of all, I felt pressure to buy because when I found the dress that I want (painstakingly selected based on what my bridesmaids preferred and price range) because of the sales countdown. I still needed sizes back from my bridesmaids and messaged customer service to ask if the product would be put on sale again. Customer service said I could place payment for 5 dresses and I could send the sizes through afterwards. What they didn't tell me is that they would be checking my identity with two sequential emails by asking me for screenshots of my banking records and my licence. They said they did this because the order was so big and because I purchased five identical dresses. I forwarded them the ticket number about the agreement to send through the dress sizes and it was almost like the two departments hadn't talked to each other. I had no problems providing the details but I feel it was unnecessary, hostile and inconvenient. On top of that they called me at 11:00 PM local time from a Chinese number and I ignored it because I thought it was spam. Nobody would reasonably expect customers to pick up at that time.

The products arrived in a timely manner and were average quality; I feel I would have gotten more value for money if the material had felt nicer. I also asked them to label the dresses with the sizes provided and that didn't happen.

However, the "unsubscribe" button on their marketing emails does not work, so I am still getting their emails (from a company that you only realistically buy from once!), despite sending two seperate requests to their Facebook page over a two week period.

These people need address their customer service issues.
