Had an install booked and paid deposit
Had an install booked and paid deposit, 1 month in advance. A week before install received an email everyday saying they were attending on booked date and stating that if it wasn’t ready for them booking could be cancelled and charges applied. A day before my install I received a phone call saying that they were now not attending on my booked date. Stated that I had taken a day off work to be at the house and that we had other trades booked in afterwards. I asked if they could attend on the Saturday but there answer was that they had other work booked in. Surely my install would have been a priority and the Saturday work should have been pushed back but apparently they did not work like that. I was on track to have my family moved back into my house before Xmas and they have totally ruined it. I’d steer well clear of this company if ever they come up in a Google search.

Our aim is to try and provide maximum satisfaction of overall experience as well as customer service at all times, so it is unfortunate when a customer feels personally disappointed with their experience.
We would like to add a reply to your review, so that anyone viewing your feedback, can understand a few important notes from our perspective.
Very much like yourself, we are also a trade company that will always aim to provide the best possible service that we can. On occasions, there can however be certain elements that fall completely out of our control and we will always do our best to reach a resolution so that all parties are able to meet a satisfactory conclusion and move forwards.
We assume that similar aspects occur in your business, and we are open to hear any improvements you have made to avoid this from happening within your own business.
Unfortunately, we were not able to meet your requirements for preferred / planned installation date due to knock on delays from other projects within the same booking week as yourself. This was a result of suffering unfortunate illness within one of our installation teams which we could not have planned or predicted.
We did try to work with you on a resolution so that your project could have still gone ahead and within in a reasonable timescale. Unfortunately, you did not find this satisfactory so chose yourself to cancel your planned installation with us, which we highly regret. Whilst respecting that time was taken from your schedule and some juggling needed to re-plan follow on trades, we were confident that we could have had your project re-planned and completed as the yearly Christmas deadlines are aspects we try to incorporate in our operations.
It is important to note, that although you did pay a deposit, that we did not retain any of this and that it was refunded to you in full and processed through our accounts system on 19th November 2021.
You are correct that we do notify customers regularly via e-mail that their installation is booked in and that charges can occur if projects are not ready. As we are a nationwide company, our installation teams can travel up to 2 hours or more to reach certain parts of the country. Should a project not be ready within the guidance we provide on the final booking e-mail confirmation or as stated within our contracted Terms and Conditions we do have the right to pass on any charges occurred, such as pre-booked hotel accommodation, loss of earning etc. Again, none of these were applied to you or your business due to the project being cancelled beforehand.
Internally, we will review your feedback, but we pride ourselves on the many positive reviews that we have received on Trustpilot to this date and hope that our comments to your review give the viewing public the impression that we are a company that will always try to resolve an issue for a customer.
If this reply also creates some more back-ground information for you and therefore feel that a 1-star review is not reflecting your experience, we appreciate any edits on this review.
It is very disappointing that we were unable to complete the work on your project as it would have been great to potentially work with Law Plumbing on future projects together.

Does exactly what they say on the tin
Does exactly what they say on the tin. Excellent service, punctual, tidy and polite and we hope effective. The right solution when fitting UFH into an existing building / extension. Other issue is running electrical and pipework connection into the existing boiler so need a good local plumber, you might also need the correct wiring centre such as Danfoss FH-WC230
