JL Brooks is hands down the best place…

JL Brooks is hands down the best place to stock up on crisps and snacks! The range they offer is fantastic—whether I’m after my classic favourites or trying something new, they always have plenty of choice at great prices.

Every order I’ve placed has been smooth and straightforward. Delivery is quick and reliable, and everything always arrives well-packed and in perfect condition.

What I really appreciate is how easy they make bulk buying. It’s great value, and I never have to worry about running out of snacks. Plus, the team clearly care about customer service—they’re professional, efficient, and always pleasant to deal with.

Delivery costs are shocking

My first experience with this company was very good, products as described. I went to order again today and the delivery is over £11 for a box of crisps and a tray of drinks. They also sent a code for 5% off that didn't work. I won't be using again until the can sort these issues out.

Just to clarify, shipping costs are calculated on weight at the checkout, and I can see from your June order that only one shipping fee was applied and that the welcome “5% off” code was successfully used. The codes can only be redeemed once, but if you received a fresh email and the new code didn’t work, it would have been great to have some direct communication so we could sort this out quickly for you.

Disappointing experience

Much slower delivery than expected. Received tracking for 3 parcels, 2 arrived then received notification that the third hadn’t been despatched as they were out of stock but only sent that notification on the day of delivery and the tracking I had been sent stated that it was despatched and at the central hub? Refunded without me having to contact them but besides the point. Finding out they’re out of stock after being told it’s on its way shows fundamental stock control issues. Unlikely to order again.

I’ve checked with the team, and as you mention, this was indeed an issue with our stock control. The clearance stock you ordered had actually been donated to our local food bank appeal, but unfortunately we had not been informed in time to remove the items from availability online. While donating the stock was absolutely the right thing to do, it was very disappointing that the team did not factor in the pending online sales.

I completely understand your frustration at receiving tracking information and then only being notified of the out-of-stock situation on the day of delivery. That is not the level of service we aim to provide, and I’m very sorry for the confusion and inconvenience caused.

We’ll be reviewing our processes to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Thank you once again for your feedback, it really helps us improve.
