Ordered a Minelab Equinox 600 and a Joan Allen luxury carry bag. Very quick delivery on the detector and the bag is far better than the official Minelab one.
Post purchase I have to say that the Joan Allen Team have been very helpful and friendly.

Excellent experience buying a metal detector through Joan Allen. I wanted to choose a company who would give me a good deal on my initial purchase, and who would provide a good customer service, and so far they've been brilliant on both fronts!

I have recently purchased an Excalibur from Joan Allen and have found their after sales service second to none. They have gone above and beyond to help and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The chap I have had dealings with, Chris, has been particularly kind. They are an example of great customer relations!

Having previously bought a CTX 3030 metal detector from Joan Allen, I experienced one problem after another with this expensive machine and it was returned under warranty for repair on at least 3 occasions, twice over battery charging issues. Although it is now out of warranty, the battery charging problem was never fixed and it has now totally given up. I asked if they would meet me half way on a replacement charger as they are extremely expensive and they never resolved the issue in the first place, but they declined to do so. I consider that the after sales service could be a lot better.
