The job centre are so unhelpful. Boyfriend has been out of work for 1.5 years and they’ve done nothing to help him to get a job. I’ve no idea why they are called a job centre. When he asks to be sent... See more

BUXTON BULLDOG !
So pleased to hear of all your complaints, was beginning to feel lonely :-))
I recently visited JCP Buxton SK17 & was spoken to like a piece of DOG DIRT by an old bag called Ang (blondish, 70's, walking stick, masculine). She 'told' me to remove my cap as I was in a government building. Sceptical of this invisible 'policy', I calmly but politely refused stating that I would willingly remove my face mask.
Her attitude was offensive & disgusting throughout my brief 'interview'.
I was surprised & stunned that she spoke to me like a piece of DOG DIRT & subsequently complained to the manager - "WHAT A NASTY PIECE OF WORK" I said.
After sharing this experience with a few peeps the consensus appears to be "VICTIMISATION" due to race - I'm Afro Caribbean :-((
How unfortunate that someone with such a dark, deformed character was able to slip through the recruitment process & into the front line.
One specifically for Wakefield job…
One specifically for Wakefield job center "Anthony". Seems this clown only knows how to insult new claimants. Took the mick out of my name and surname moments after meeting him. Claimed i wasn't due in stated "nope, you are wrong", only to look a mug when the system proved me right.
I guess when you have no life you resort to belittlement using your position.
Front of house staff were very friendly and polite, shame the unprofessional scroat above ruins it for the place.
Spoke to a Mr Kuchwala
Spoke to a Mr Kuchwala very helpful indeed would have been totally lost without his guidance on how to complete forms on line. He showed great patience diligence and most of all was exceptional kind . Would also like to give Abdul a mention too who also showed great professionalism.
The middle managers bully their…
The middle managers bully their grieving staff. Underpay them and act in a dishonest, sneaky way.
UK government just hire bullies, senior management DO NOT CARE.

The system is unfit for purpose!
The system is unfit for purpose!
Too complicated and impossible for any lay person to navigate.
I find my self employed after 27 years of working and I can’t even get to speak to someone regarding benefits.
This country is broken!!!!!
JCP - Not very impressed
I'm a mid- to senior level manager who has had some time out of work after being let go. Now returning to work. The person I spoke with during my telephone interview with JCP had no clue about my line of work or experience. At one point I was told "you'll have to start at the bottom and work your way up". I get the impression that they are not used to working with more senior blue collar job seekers.
I've been told when we have F2F meetings I'll need to prove my job seeking activity by showing applications on my smartphone. That's not practical since I apply to Corporates via their own platforms as well as via LinkedIn. I have a comprehensive Excel document which details my weekly applications but I was rather rudely told by the 'advisor' that they didn't want me to send them information via email.
I know that the private sector is behind the curve with respect to their digital transformation strategy, but I didn't realise by how much.
Job centre minus
Do not really help you find jobs, work or opportunities to further yourself. Been dealing with these people after a stint of unemployment, since I have found myself several jobs. No replies to 80% of my inquiries! Good luck to anyone wanting to go onto university or find similar opportunities I doubt your will find any help here in that area. Thankful for the benefits I get to get by but other then that this has been anything then a job centre plus. More like a job centre minus
One good thing about this organisation is the website for finding information and how it is formatted to make it easy to navigate to find things of use. Like HMRC and the DVLA!
However like I have mentioned this profile is not even claimed and I am writing a review of the job centre and I have not been able to find that specific agency
First up I'm economically inactive
First up I'm economically inactive , and they had to notion for me to gave a appt at Hendon job centre, total waste of time , just because I'm not taking part in the labour market ,
Called to change my phone number
Called to change my phone number, said I would need to book an appointment and visit the job centre. I work during the week.. How is this even a thing?
Zero stars for Job Centre Wakefield
Zero stars for Job Centre Wakefield. They are NOT helping people to find work. They do NOT care about you in any meaningful way! They waste your nerves and time! Why this institution exists is a mystery!
