I have been searching for a job during 9 months! I was feeling desperate, frustrated and I didn't know what I was doing wrong.
I found out about Job Surfers through LinkedIn which gave me some hope. I started with them and I felt that it gave me the boost of motivation and structure that I needed, by doing their masterclasses and having our 1 on 1 meetings, and also meeting the community of people in the same situation as me. Hi everyone, I hope you are all well!

I wanted to share my experience with Job Surfers. I currently work at SHEIN and was looking for a job as a remote account manager so that I could travel while working. Luks helped me a lot with improving my LinkedIn, resume, and messages to hiring managers, and he also supported me when I felt demotivated. Over time, I got better and better at interviews. Although I did a few compared to the number of applications I submitted, they were enough to prepare me for the interview I really wanted. During my job search, I decided to completely change the area I was aiming for, and all the effort was well worth it. I made a list of companies in the field I wanted, and believe it or not, Chat GPT became my best friend. I updated my CV with keywords from that area, reached out to the companies and their talent acquisitions, and eventually, someone noticed me. I became much more confident, my English improved greatly, and the opportunity came at the right moment. I landed a full remote job, earning in euros and working with games, which was my dream.

I am immensely grateful to the entire Job Surfers team, especially to Luks, who was a consultant, a friend, and even a bit of a psychologist during this time. Believe that it is possible and go after it!

I'm gonna write this from a place of love (and some facts also).

Maybe I´ll start over with the facts, so you all believe me.

Fact #1: I started my 100% remote USD paying dream-job two days ago, on May the 20th. I started with Eli & Luk on april 15th (you do the math on how fast & effective their system is).

Fact #2: I didn't apply for this job. The California-based consulting company CALLED ME. Luk & Eli helped me build an absolute killer head-hunting magnet of a LinkedIn profile. Recruiters keep contacting me almost 3 times a month.

Fact #3: Luk & Eli were YODA when it came to the salary negotiation.

Fact #4: This was crazy fast once Eli approved my LinkedIn profile to go-live. It was hard work though.

Fact #5: You gotta put the hard work in. You gotta put the hours and understand their method (which is hands down brilliant). The message is clear, but it takes work (no pain no gain).

Now comes the love:

They are my mentors now.

I don't want to leave the platform. I started off with Eli building my CV. We started brainstorming for a week. I am no walk in the park, and she handled me like a pro. I was hesitant with a few bold CV ideas, and she knew exactly what I needed (I really think she is a 124-year-old wise lady in a 20-something year old young lady's body).

And then came Luk. The most charismatic young man I have met in a long time. With that wisdom of someone who travels a lot, and with a wild sense of humor. Always sure of what to say and where to point you out. He was a master with the interview follow-ups and the actual job-landing (always relying on Eli).

Once you pay attention to them, do the work, learn the method and make a few mistakes, your problem will switch from:

"How the hell will I find my dream job?"

to

"How the hell do I get these recruiters off my neck now?".
