New wooden floor - excellent product and service.
Wooden floor fitted in the lounge. From start to finish great service from everyone at John Doe. In-store knowledgeable and helpful staff who understand the products. Not pushy and left us to make up our minds. Estimator came out and explained process if we went ahead. Quotation arrived by email within 24 hours. Again no one was pushing us. Delivery of flooring on time. Guys who came to move furniture, lift and remove carpet and screed floor friendly and efficient. Jack, the carpenter, fitted the floor and did a fantastic job. Clearly prides himself on his work.
I highly recommend John Doe. All staff employed by the company and know what their role is which makes for such a positive experience.

Fantastic service from ordering to delivery and set up. The delivery team Scott and Simon phoned to give us 20 minutes warning of their arrival. Set up the chairs and provided pads so as not the scratch floor. Took packing away.
Will definitely order again.

John Doe - Stressless as always
John Doe our favourite go to for a Coffee at Angela’s.. the challenge is every time I end up buying a bit of furniture- the sofa and chair by Stressless was delivered today by Simon & Scott .. the whole process has been stressless 😎 so that’s a Bed, Sofa Chair and two side table and hall table .. I make that at least £1500 a coffee 🤣👍😉 excellent products delivered on time and reasonably priced - takes as the stress away

We understand delivery charges can sometimes be frustrating, so we’d like to explain why ours is in place.
Unlike many other retailers who outsource this service, all our deliveries are handled by our own full-time, dedicated in-house team, who take tremendous pride in providing a true “white glove” experience. Although we would love to offer this service for free - rising business costs, vehicles and fuel mean there does have to be a charge.
We firmly believe the value, care, quality and reliability that our customers receive from our Delivery Team more than justifies this cost — and our 5 star TrustPilot reviews reflect that. Taking all this into account, our in-house delivery service is still half the price of many well-known national retailers!
We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Wardrobes and carpet shopping.
The whole browsing and shopping experience is excellent with a huge choice of in store wardrobes and carpets. The staff are very helpful, professional and friendly, go the extra mile to assist but you don’t feel under pressure to purchase as you do in some other furniture shops. We spent ages asking questions and playing with the in store wardrobes before finally deciding on what my wife wanted. We then went to the carpet department and again received excellent help in picking the right carpet for our bedroom out of the huge choice on display.
