Went to John Doe looking for garden furniture. In the show room, Tina, the sales assistant was friendly and helpful without ever pressurising us in any way.
When the furniture we had bought was delivered, the two delivery guys, Scott and Simon were polite and friendly, and took trouble to make sure all items were placed where required.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable shopping experience

Simon and Scott were friendly and professional putting our new table together and explaining how it worked. They did a great job with minimum disruption.

My thanks to Scott and Simon for their excellent service in delivery of my bed and sofa bed. Very happy with the service and very happy with the beds.
The only downside was that there was a long wait between ordering and receiving the beds. However, this was clearly communicated to me when I ordered them.

The service and experience in the shop was very good and the delivery was excellent with two very helpful and friendly staff Andrew and Simon who took great care getting the furniture into the house.

Scott and Simon we incredibly helpful in putting the items in place, went through the instructions on removing wheels on the chest of drawers and cleared away the rubbish as well.

Outstanding service from Andrew and Simon. Nothing was too much trouble. Very respectful of our home when delivering new furniture and even took their shoes off with each trip back and forth from the lorry. Phoned ahead of delivery, great communication and extremely professional.

We used John Doe many years ago when they were in the Diss Triangle square used again in May 2026 excellent family business fitting staff are a credit to them as well as the admin/office staff.

Yet again a great experience with John Doe’s. The salesperson was fantastic and very helpful with all my requirements ! Well done Katie was great to meet you. Then to the fitter’s what can I say apart from what a great bunch of guys clean tidy very polite and so professional! I shall not be going anywhere else for house furnishings. Oh I nearly forgot I had a full breakfast too no complaints there either.

It’s nice to buy from a local company, from people who know and understand the products they sell. The team at John Doe are very helpful and friendly. Simon and Scott who delivered and assembled the wardrobe were great: they let me know when they were on their way, took time to ensure it was assembled just as we wanted and were very friendly. They also took away all the boxes and packing materials too. Thank you!

When we first moved to Diss in 2016 JD measured and fitted all our curtains, blinds, and much of the flooring. As a result of their truly exceptional service we have since used them on numerous occasions and have always experienced the same timely service and quality goods. It's what I call "old fashioned and friendly"and makes for loyal customers every time.

Simon and Scott were brilliant! We had scaffolding up which meant they couldn’t carry the settees the quickest route but they were so professional and friendly that nothing was too much trouble.

The quality of our sofas were amazing. The sales assistant and customer service was exceptional. The delivery drivers & fitters (Simon and Scott) were very tidy, fast and professional. I rate John Doe anymore highly.

Couldn't ask for better customer service - there when you need them but not in your face. Very knowledgeable staff who were able to provide all the information I needed on 2 different products I was looking to buy. On the first visit, the lady who assisted me was able to send off for a couple of free material samples for the settees I was interested in which helped to look at their colour in the light of my own home. On the second visit when I made purchases of settees & a bed, despite being assisted by 2 different members of staff each accompanied me back to the other once I had advised which settee / bed I wished to buy,. In addition, whilst I was advised the delivery time was 6-8 weeks, I was delighted to rceive a phone call after only 4 weeks to tell me my purchases were in store ready for delivery.
