Customer service is the key element to…

Customer service is the key element to run any business and johnreed is definitely keeping loose on that.. gym vibe and equipments are nice but customer service is the worst. They advertise all the time that bring a friend and you'll get month free at the end of my membership and once you finish your membership they will just make excuses to not help... Good luck keeping your customers...

Awful customer service & unjustified charges after cancellation (FLEX membership)

I am not the type or person to complain or ever write bad reviews. But, the experience I have had with this gym and their customer service after cancelling my contract, has been extremely stressful, unresponsive and unprofessional. I joined their gym for 3 months approximately with their 'FLEX Silver membership' which means is a monthly contract that can be cancelled any month with a notice. Well, needless to say that a month after I cancelled my contract and received written confirmation, I receive a letter about an outstanding payment for the month after I had already cancelled my membership + some additional charges due to the reminder. After contacting their team to about more details on this, I receive a very vague response, with no real directions on what to do next or justified details of the charges. As I just want to close this, I decide to just make that last payment as it is not worth my stress, but then still after having bank details in my account for them to take the money I somehow still get not charged and keep getting delay fines. Since then, I have been trying to contact their team on how to settle this and close it for a month and still have not received any response. This has been an absolutely awful experience, I have used other gyms in Germany before and have never had such a horrible experience.

Illegal charges…

I don’t recommend this gym at all, especially for long contracts. I’ve been a member for several years and during covid their service dropped quality and also their customer care. Despite the fact that I cancelled my contract when the gym was closed, and now they are demanding money from me. They used to be famous for their customer service but now they are no longer solution oriented.

The place is unreal, best equipment, great personal trainers, and the most amazing manager.
Mr.Serdar is awesome.

Swimming A+
All in all if you love exercising and working out and you’re in Istanbul you’d be missing out on something if you didn’t go to John Reed gym

UNSAFE/UNTRUSTABLE COMPANY! DON'T ENROLL!

They kept charging my bank account for like 5-6 months despite i forbade them in e-mail. This is highly ILLEGAL! I wrote them to cancel my contract, they didn't reply.

Please NEVER EVER EVER enroll to this company, unless you want headaches with court and lawyers for yourself in the future.

This is a :
1.: UNTRUSTABLE
2.: UNSAFE
3.: UNREALIABLE
company. Good luck with them.

I am writing this message on behalf of my husband. I wrote to your tech support 2 emails, wrote you on Instagram. No response. I agree with a comment above: You are charging the debit card for the service we are not getting! Seriously? You are closed and you keep charging money and ignoring my emails. Next step? Well, contact the European Consumer department who will force you to respond.

Dear new customers, please avoid signing any contract with this sport center. There are a lot of other better options in Prague.

That cannot be true that you keep charging my account while your fitness centers are closed due to Corona. Your policy does not allow more than 3 Months idle period but I believe you should review your policy to reflect the Corona situation. That is illegal what you're doing. I am paying for a service that I'm not getting....
