Nile Cruise

My holiday was booked with plenty holidays,who are affliated with Johnsons. There were a few issues, which I will address with them on my return but my rep Ahmed sorted one them for me. The cruise was very enjoyable. Our rep was with us on board and for the excursions was Ahmed. He was very knowlegable, very helpful and polite. As a first time senior solo traveller he was very considerate towards me and our group. The staff on Magic II are polite and helpful. The ship is very clean and there is a wide variety of food at each meal

Excellent assistance from Mr Samuel

I booked my holiday through Samuel at Johnson Holidays, and I would like to highlight the excellent service he provided. He was immensely supportive, professional, and remained calm and composed throughout the process.

Samuel helped us arrange a trip to Tunisia for two families. He was patient, attentive, and handled everything efficiently. His professionalism and positive attitude made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

He is truly an asset to the company, demonstrating great etiquette and outstanding sales skills. In fact, his approach and reassurance convinced us to go ahead with the booking when we were close to cancelling.
Overall, we are very grateful for his assistance and highly recommend his services.

I will share a detailed review after our holiday, which is booked for April to Tunisia.

Disaster. They sold me a holiday the day it cost…

They sold me a holiday the day it cost twice as much, unbeknown to me.
The garden room was on the first floor over looking a demolition site.
The hotel was fully booked and couldn't move me.
My cruise ship was also fully booked and couldn't move me as my cabin was over the engine room. The noise at 2am was over 80 decibels.
I will not trust Johnson's Travel every again. They told me I agreed to everything when I paid.

With regards to the accommodation, the room allocated to you was a garden view room, exactly as promised and confirmed prior to booking. Room positioning, including floor level and surrounding views, is managed by the hotel and is subject to their availability policies.

Your cruise was a 5-star cruise experience, offering high standards of service, facilities, and inclusions. As with any operating cruise ship, some level of operational noise can be expected during sailing hours. While we understand this may have caused some inconvenience, this is a normal aspect of cruising and not uncommon across ships.

We would also like to highlight that throughout your holiday, our team remained fully available and supported you with every request raised during your stay at the destination. We made every possible effort to assist and ensure your experience was as comfortable as possible within the limitations of supplier availability.

We genuinely regret that certain aspects did not meet your expectations, but we would like to reassure you that all services were delivered in line with what was confirmed and agreed at the time of booking.

Nile cruise and stay
Arriving in Hughada airport, Soliman was waiting for us behind the Visa area and before going through passport control. I had already purchased our visa's online but easy enough to do on arrival by completing the cards (take a pen). Soliman waited for us to collect our luggage and then handed over to the driver to take us to our hotel.

Our Nile cruise was on The Royal Viking, the boat was nice (tired in places but I was happy enough with it all and the staff were lovely). The food was ok, you may struggle if your a fussy eater but I thought there was enough variation and i enjoyed most of what I ate (including the salads and fruit).

Ebram Sobhy was our egyptoligist and he was exceptional, so much knowledge and enthusiasm and was happy for all the questions we threw at him.
The trips are spread out over the week which was nice to be able to have some free time and enjoy the evening entertainment, pool or bars.

All the people who work with Johnson Holidays, whether Customer services, Cruise staff, transfers or hotel were are helpful and timely.

I had not heard of Johnson Holidays before and was sceptical but I would have no issues booking with them again.

Fantastic service and memories to last a lifetime.
