It does what it says it does and there is none other. It was easy to install and configure following the included setup guide. I installed 2 months ago and been more than pleased. For me, I needed some time in preparing a contact list on a smartphone, and learning how to manage. Support is great and prompt. I now use a smartphone and ipad to manage with imp box apps.

Worth its weight in gold!
This is exactly what I needed to keep my 90+ year old parents from being bombarded by spam. It started at 8am and sometimes didn't stop until midnight.
Now there are no "junk" calls.
And I can easily see who is calling them, and handle any legitimate voicemessages.
I wish we had this 10 years ago!

We got imp to manage my 91-year-old mother-in-law’s calls - she was getting harassed by Medicare scammers and more! In the first week imp screened 248 calls and only 27 of those were from people she knew. One day I counted 46 spam calls! In addition to her phone only ringing when she should answer it, we now can more easily manage her appointments and activities. We can listen to her voicemails from anywhere and see who is calling her when. Email customer care was responsive when I had questions prior to purchasing. Installation instructions were helpful. She now has her land line, her life alert, and no spam calls – giving us all peace of mind. Thank you imp!

I initially found IMP as a kickstarter and followed it. My mother in law has dementia and this service has been a life and money saver. It's like a SPAM app for your landline.

The amount of scam calls coming into her is outrageous. Sometimes I see more than 2 dozen coming in a day. Green-list the numbers that are ok to come thru and redlist the ones you dont want to.

Nothing is 100% effective but I would consider this to be about 95% perfect. It doesn't let any international numbers in even if it is green-listed but thats a small price to pay. I just tell my wife her mothers friend or family called from another country and then her mother will call them back. Inconvenient slightly but a small price to pay.

I have had it installed for over a year and I strongly suggest this for an elderly parent with or without dementia. These phone scams are getting out of control and this makes things much easier.

My phone never rings with sales people trying to sell me things I do not want or need. Also, nice not to get political calls during election time. I really am happy that I have the Imp. Way excellent.

This device and service has made all the difference in my life! My phone only rings now with calls from people I want to hear from. Because the calls go into the app on my cell phone, I can see how many spam calls come in during the day, but my phone never rings. It is enough to stand on top of a tall building and shout about because it works so well.

The customer service is outstanding. I started with them early on after finding an advertisement for them somewhere which I cannot remember where. I signed up figuring the worst that would happen is losing $50 for the device. Along the way there were some glitches, I contacted the company, and they worked on everything I contacted them about and fixed it, all of them. That was in the first month of my service in mid-2022. The company was fairly new with customers, they were ironing out things as they went along, and as far as I'm concerned everything's pretty much ironed out now. I have not had to contact them with any complaint for a long time. But I will say that they were quick, courteous, and responsive when I did need help.
I'm not getting paid to write this. I am just a very satisfied customer.

Imp does what it advertises and assistance is phenomenal!

We have been plagued by nuisance calls for years. At times up to 10-12 a day. Tried all of the phone provider options- nomo, Att active armor, etc. Imp stops 100% of calls. Easy to set up, easier to maintain. Love it.

Very responsive company

Great system, it does the job really well. I have to keep a landline and this is a lifesaver because I am deluged daily. Some times, not very often, I have to reboot my cell phone to accomplish a delete, no big deal. It would be nice to add a greenlist number from my cell phone that is not in my contact list. But, to be sure, I love this system

IMP has simply made my life better. No more interrupting what I am doing to race to the phone for some spam call. And since the phone now only rings for people I want to talk to, I look forward to the phone ringing.

I ordered this unit with the expectation of returning it the same week I bought it, I even kept the receipt and packaging within arms reach. I just couldn’t believe it could stop what felt like a hundred unwanted calls a week. I can honestly say it works as I was told it would and the peace it brought to our home is worth it’s weight in gold. I recommend this to everyone when the subject comes up and if you are skeptical and on the fence don’t be it’s absolutely positively the single best way I’ve found to stop the nonsense of those telemarketers and scammers. It’s so easy to hook up and as a technically challenged guy that says a lot. My advice is you won’t regret buying this. I would have paid twice what they charged.

I have noticed the wonderful silence lately. No spam calls for weeks. My only thing is that it is for my home phone and not my cell. It doesn't however do anything with my contacts on "home" lists when setting up the device.

I had an unlisted number for several years, but over time, I was getting more and more spam calls. I had done “ no more robo” and other sites that offered to cut down on unwanted calls. I was getting close to changing my number, when a local inventor advertised “imp”. I was one of the ones in the test program. It cut my calls by 98%. I am so happy and hope the scammers don’t find some way of hacking this system. I would highly recommend !

On February 16, 2023, I tried calling imp’s 800-374-0056 phone number, at noon EST, and the call won’t even go through. I don’t believe they are a legitimate company.

If you are getting unwanted phone calls, BUY THIS PRODUCT! I bought one for my elderly mom's home phone and in the first two days the imp blocked 91 calls. My mom was going crazy with over 50 charity, political, insurance and scam calls per day. Now, it's just peace and quiet.

Imp has blocked all of our unwanted calls. We have had it for about 1 month. You need a cell phone and wifi (i use my ipad). It reads your contact list on your mobile device. You can easily allow (greenlist) a blocked (greylist) through the IMP app. 85-90 % of our calls are unwanted. We had to setup our wifi to do both 2.4G and 5G as only 2.4G is compatible with imp. Also, we have multiple phones and do get 1 ring on one of the phones for greylist calls. Our solution was to turn that ringer off, as we can hear the other phones ring throughout the house for greenlisted calls. So far it works great.
