Supporting Women in Perimenopause
Monette and Midi validated my perimenopause journey and are helping me find relief! I'm so thankful for them because I had an awful time getting HRT support locally, even from doctors who were women! I'm so thankful for Monette and Midi!
MIDI experience
The care from the Dr. was amazing, she was very attentive to my needs, answered every one of my questions & concerns as well as offering a plethora of suggestions & recommendations. The overall process & procedures, such as the virtual visit, setting up the appointment, etc., was a lot more easier than I thought! 10 out of 10!!
Extreme over-billing, no response to messages
While the actual telehealth visit was great and the practitioner was fantastic, the site advertises itself as one that takes insurance. I uploaded my insurance cards prior to the visit the practitioner confirmed it, and I was then billed $280 as a self-pay patient.
I messaged Midi about this six days ago, uploaded my insurance AGAIN with this message, and never received a response, but today I received another $280 bill in the mail. I’m still being billed as self-pay.
Today I sent another message, attached my insurance cards to that message as well. We will see.
I wouldn’t trust this company to properly bill. With insurance this visit should cost somewhere around $40. I would just get in to see your regular provider instead of dealing with this.

Midi is wonderful resource for women facing menopause.
Midi is wonderful resource for women navigating the challenges that menopause brings. I love being able to discuss my concerns within in the privacy and convenience of my own home. The treatment plans that my Midi nurse practitioner recommends have been very effective in reducing discomfort and improving my life.

A Lifesaver during Perimenopause
Mid Health’s telehealth experience has been outstanding. From scheduling to the actual appointment, everything was smooth, efficient, and easy to navigate. The virtual platform was simple to use, and I was seen right on time.
What impressed me most was how personal the visit felt, even through a screen. The provider was attentive, patient, and genuinely listened to my concerns. I never felt rushed. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the next steps in my treatment plan.
It’s rare to find healthcare that is both convenient and thorough, but Mid Health delivers both. Being able to receive high-quality, compassionate care from home made a huge difference for me. I highly recommend their telehealth services.
Significant billing errors and poor administrative support
My experience with Midi Health has been a $1,334 administrative nightmare. After seeking care for specific symptoms, my labs were incorrectly coded as 'preventive screenings' rather than diagnostic. This error triggered a total insurance denial, leaving me with a Labcorp bill 320% above the market rate.
Since February 11th (13 days ago), I have sent numerous emails to Midi support to resolve this. Despite Midi being the owner of my records, support staff repeatedly asked me for information they already possessed and intercepted my attempts to contact my clinician. I finally received a Superbill confirming the coding discrepancy: the diagnoses for my visit do not match the codes for the lab order.
As of now, Midi has failed to correct the lab order, and I've asked for a refund since my visit has resulted in significant financial liability rather than medical care. I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB. Proceed with caution if you rely on insurance for your labs.
Lied about insurance coverage
Lied and said my appointment was covered by my insurance. Even said so during my appointment. To later get a $200 bill. Prescription needed prior authorization and couldn’t get ahold of anyone to complete that. Wanted to push there website for the medication. Assuming they get kick backs for selling their own medication than allowing pharmacy to fill. Absolutely waste of time.

So many military male doctors cancelled my referrals because they do not believe that I had obstructive sleep apnea, they did not believe that I was in menopause or post menopausal, they shot me up with a third Covid shot, they made me take multiple pregnancy tests and then it took nine visits to get a doctor to actually diagnose my endometriosis, cysts, adenomyosis, etc and I have been overweight and not eating very much for four years. I exist on liquid protein diets. My A1C is controlled but my quality of living is nearly zero due to unbalanced hormones. I’m looking forward to lab tests instead of ingesting hormones and hoping they’ll take an effect. I’ve been without progesterone for six years and when I started it I grew by thirty pounds haha . I mainly came to midi because the department of veterans affairs was making me wait seven months to start semiglutide and I cannot keep doing life like this.
Dr. Felicia Boadu
Dr. Felicia has been incredible in helping me navigate this “pause” phase of life. She truly takes the time to listen, understand how I’m feeling, and makes me feel heard and supported every step of the way. Her approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and personalized, which has made a huge difference for me.
Working with Midi has honestly been life-changing. I’ve seen a significant improvement in how I feel day to day, both physically and emotionally, and I finally feel like myself again. I’m so grateful to have found this level of care and support during this stage of life.
Truly listens and helps
Christin has been absolutely wonderful as my provider. She truly listens to everything, provides options for evaluation and treatment, and explains thoroughly. I have seen multiple physicians in person, such as primary care, GYN, and dermatologist, and I have voiced my concerns to all of them with no answers and no help. Christin has done more for me than any provider I have seen (and I’ve seen them for several years).

Super cool experience with MIDI was a great provider Stephanie was and she actually listened more than talked. She had the answers or suggestions to any of my questions.
I love the MIDI experience
I love the MIDI experience. Ease in care, communication, and all-around attention to my needs. Each step along the way I had professional assistance from my first visit to each diagnostic procedure or test. 24/7 messaging with medical assistants and my PA made for no anxiety throughout this process. I’m forever grateful that MIDI practitioners are trained menopause specialists who know the real facts about HRT after breast cancer. I’m so relieved today and am feeling so good about my future.
Great
Dr. Kim was very knowledgeable. She helped me with making the right choice. The prices was reasonable per month. Wasn’t nothing extra when it came time to pay overall great experience.
It’s a place to start…
I appreciate that I was able to get my perimenopausal concerns addressed fairly quickly, but it ends there for me. The first appointment I booked had the time and date switched to a random time and date without inquiring as to my availability. I was then assigned a nurse practitioner, Ashley, who was not friendly - had zero personality and was stone faced during the three visits we did have. Now let’s talk about those visits - the technology didn’t work causing me to have to reschedule two of those three, which was incredibly frustrating. On top of that since they are virtual visits expect to pay about $200 each visit as they are not covered by insurance (and I have excellent insurance). This brings me to my last complaint. I’m assigned to Ashley who each time we have chatted, I’ve told I cannot do a meeting before 5 pm. She suddenly switched all my appointments to 4 pm and I see her schedule is now only till 5 pm every day. I am so frustrated I cancelled this last visit and will be having my GP take this over. It’s good for what it is, and to get started, but beyond that, it’s not worth the money or the aggravation.

MIDI health is my provider of choice for menopause care and HRT
I found MIDI health, after struggling to find a suitable provider to take over my HRT and menopause care, after moving to Massachusetts. I had dissatisfactory, even unpleasant, visits with two different gynaecologists. Neither we’re interested in answering my questions and didn’t seem to know much about menopause care. My first visit with MIDI health was very different. My provider was exceptional, she listened with empathy and answered my questions in a professional manner. I won’t be seeking menopause care from anywhere else. Thank you so much for making this journey that little bit easier with your compassionate patient-centred care.
Overall great experience
Overall great experience. The nurse practitioner was knowledgeable and thorough. The reason for the 4-state instead of 5 is I would like to be able to receive their topical DHEA/estrogen compounded medication in a 90 day supply. They only have it in a 30 day supply which has a $10 shipping charge each time. The medication works and I like it, but having to order it monthly is annoying especially since all my other medications are for 90 days at a time.
I was listened to and heard
I was listened to and heard. I finally felt like I was talking to someone that actually knew about perimenopause. She even sited medical journals to indicate why it is safe for me to be on HRT right now. I feel like there is hope to not feel this way anymore now and I am so grateful for her care. The next day I got my medicine and was able to start taking it. Thank you Midi Health!
Midi health is awful to work with
Midi health is awful to work with! I had one visit with a provider who prescribed me a new medication which required a prior authorization with my insurance. Midi health was SO DIFFICULT to get a hold of to get the prior authorization completed! I tried contacting them via phone, the patient portal, and the support email. They finally sent a form to my insurance, but then it was for the wrong state! I once again could NOT GET A HOLD OF ANYONE! It has been more than 3 weeks and STILL NO RESPONSE. I cancelled my next appointment. I am going somewhere else. THEY CLEARLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS!
