The staff is rarely willing to help with any inconveniences and when they do, they are slow. They set strict rules that tenants have to follow but often do not stick to their part of rules.
Attention to costumers is barely good and costumer service is often careless. Joivy does not care about your experience in their housing once you have payed them.

They charged me €100 not even for cleaning, but for how the apartment was “arranged.” Seriously? I asked for an explanation multiple times and got absolutely nothing. No replies, no clarification just ignored like I don’t exist. I have all the messages and video. What makes that this house needs extra cleaning. By looking at which area.
225 euro for check in fee and 225 for check out fee. What includes for 225euro checkout fee. As i know its for cleaning + admin + inspection. So explain.
Feels like they just make things up to keep your money..

Non seulement l'agence Joivy pratique des prix exorbitants et des frais d'agence hors norme (900€), inversement proportionnels à leur compétence. Nous avons un dégâts des eaux qui n'a pas été pris en charge depuis 2 ans, toutes les interactions avec eux sont catastrophiques, et lorsque des professionnels se déplacent, ils rentrent chez nous sans nous prévenir.
TOUT dans leur modèle de location est désavantageux. Le seul moyen de nous faire entendre par Joivy a été de passer par l'association Droitaulogement69, ce que nous recommandons à quiconque à affaire avec eux à Lyon.

Not only does Joivy charge exorbitant prices and outrageous agency fees (€900) - which are inversely proportional to their competence. We’ve had water damage that hasn’t been addressed for two years, every interaction with them has been a disaster, and when contractors come to our home, they show up without warning.
EVERYTHING in their rental model is disadvantageous. The only way we could get Joivy to listen to us was by going through Droitaulogement69 association, which we recommend to anyone dealing with them in Lyon.

Very disappointing experience with DoveVivo. This was my third time renting a room with them, and I never had issues before, but this time was completely different. The flat was shared with multiple people, and cleanliness depends on everyone, not just one tenant. Even when someone completed their cleaning shift a few days before inspection, they still blamed the condition of the shared areas on us. If other flatmates do not contribute, that is not something one person can control.
Despite this, they deduct 100 euros form my deposit, which was very frustrating. I feel the situation was handled unfairly and there was no proper consideration. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not book with DoveVivo again. If anyone needs more informations I am there for give answers. This is a SCAM guys. Dont fell for it.

This accommodation was a complete catfish and looked nothing like the photos in the listing.
When I arrived, the property was filthy. The kitchen was piled up with pots and pans, and the surfaces were dirty and deteriorated, making the entire space feel very unhygienic. The bathrooms were also completely different from what was advertised. One of the toilets was clearly not cleaned before my arrival, and there was even a water tank installed above the shower that was never mentioned in the description or shown in any of the pictures.
The bedroom, which was supposedly cleaned before I arrived, still had cobwebs and dust everywhere. The furniture was in terrible condition, and the paint throughout the property was faded and worn, nothing like the bright and well-maintained appearance shown in the listing photos. In several places the paint was peeling off, and there were holes in the walls that had only been poorly covered up.
To make matters worse, when I tried to contact the owners or the people operating the accommodation to raise these issues, I received no response. When I attempted to visit their office in person to resolve the situation, I was simply thrown out and refused any assistance.
Overall, this property was completely misrepresented, poorly maintained, and the customer service was nonexistent. I would strongly advise others to book somewhere else.

We appreciated the explicit and detailed check in instructions, including video footage. The apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. The outdoor area - a real bonus and wonderful for open air dining. Super comfortable bed and very warm in the cooler weather. Lovely decor. Compassionate & understanding staff!

Terrible inconsistency in information provided . Entry links didn’t work , no information on the stairs (not baby or disabled friendly abd this should be made very clear). Dirty found used dirty sheets, broken glass on floor (not safe), broken curtains etc. then wanted cleaning and was being charged such a ridiculous priced of 125-135 pounds , pretty insane

The rental process, payments, and communication are very easy and intuitive through the app. The team responds on WhatsApp quite quickly, usually within the same day, which makes everything very convenient. The service is available in both English and Italian, and having support in English makes the whole process much easier to understand. I would definitely recommend it, especially for international students.
