From the initial home measurement consultation to the finished kitchen, we couldn’t have asked for better service. Colin at Stockport listened to what we wanted, helped us to tweak things and even suggested some improvements which we love, and I now have the kitchen of my dreams. There were a couple of issues with bits missing/worktops with some slight damage, but these were rectified immediately without question. We love the finished product, the kitchen feels solids and looks a lot more expensive than it was, and everyone who sees it says “WOW” when they walk in, which is what we wanted! Also in all I can’t recommend Jonas and James for your new kitchen highly enough!

Sara was fantastic she came round to measure up had a fantastic idea for a small extension to create a utility room
Went to the store where working with Sara we planned it all in no time at all
The Kitchen arrived on the day it said it would
Sara recommend Jack an experience builder who completed the whole thing in a couple of weeks
Including a bespoke Utility room
Sara was wonderful through out x

Not the dream kitchen I paid for
We saw our dream kitchen in the range store in Kidderminster. It was on display and it was just what we were looking for.
The sales man was really lovely and helpful and organised the fitter for us.
This is when the problems started.
The fitter completely messed up our work top, leaving horrible joins, some areas with cracks.
We purposely bought a glitter work top however due to being fitted incorrectly we now how absolutely no glitter on it at all, we are so disappointed.
The wrong handles were sent and so we now how holes showing as the correct handles didn’t fit in the same holes.
The plinth along the floor doesn’t fit correctly, the dishwasher cupboard was cut too short, I could go on and on.
We got in touch with the manufacturer with the hope they would at least offer us some compensation to put the work top right, but they are unable to help.
I wouldn’t recommend buying a kitchen from this company. It was not a cheap kitchen either 😞 and now I get upset every day that I have to look at all these faults 😞

We Agree - Don’t Use This Company! Non Existent After Sales Service
Quality of units is excellent but we’ve had a terrible experience with Jonas & James which we’ve taken up with Citizen’s Advice/Trading Standards.
My measurements were spot on which my fitter agreed but the designer keyed the wrong figures and designed a kitchen that would not fit which included an island with extractor, U shape kitchen and walk-in larder. This design sold me the kitchen.
When this huge mistake was discovered I wanted to cancel but Jonas & James agreed to redesign the kitchen to make it work and promised any units etc not used would be collected and refunded. They said just to make a list at the end of the fit and they would refund. They said I may need to go in store to collect payment.
The new kitchen is lovely but has been a huge compromise. I lost the island, extractor, walk-in larder and the U shape became just an L shape.
When the kitchen was finished my fitter supplied the list of units etc that we hadn’t used and unbelievably Jonas & James reneged on their agreement and will now not collect nor refund the 30 items including an island and extractor.
Citizens Advice were as dumbfounded as we are. They said there should be no issue. The items are only over due to their employee’s mistake and as the kitchen range is still sold Jonas & James can easily resell these items - they are boxed as delivered - but I can’t. What about the impact on the environment if I am forced to dump them?
Both B&Q and Wickes said if they had a customer in the same situation they would happily collect and refund. They would also supply free of charge any additional units needed to make the new design work as an act of goodwill as this was Jonas & James employee’s mistake.
Please do not use this firm. The product is fantastic but the after sales help, stinks.
What should have been a wonderful experience has been a nightmare.

The customer service from Jonas and jones is a complete joke, trying to have a conversation is near impossible, they refuse to give their phone number and say they will call and never do…
You have a kitchen designer come to your home, however when measurements are slightly out and you contact the company they don’t want to know and remind you that the designers are not technically trained, they expect you contact your carpenter so he can go over their plans that were created by their designers, hence I am left with a pull out shelf which I can’t use at the cost of £642!

I have never in my life known such a terrible service…
I have never in my life known a service or company like this one ! One problem after the next and issues still not resolved. Cupboards are a good quality but I was sold the wrong carcusses. It was up to me to take measurements myself. One unit came and would not fit so my joiner had to make his own unit up out of left over boards!!! My island was initially ordered in the wrong size- too small then when the right one was ordered it was too heavy to lift off the van so that was put back by a month. My fridge makes a loud humming noise and I’m still waiting for them to get back to me as the side of the work top is peeling off. Communication is horrendous - takes weeks for an email reply and they don’t even provide a telephone number at customer service so you can’t actually speak to anyone. All in all horrendous - please Do not use this company as you will be hugely disappointed and it will add many great hairs, inconvenience and a completely unenjoyable experience to your life ! Please go elsewhere !!!

1st The Range experience, turned bad for everyone
This simple fix for a few minor problems has turned nasty and forced elderly customer to want me to write a complaint!
1. New designer not very experienced only worked for Howdens previously. Thrown in deep end with very little training including own products , design experience poor, Articad training none, self taught, unable to measure a very simple L-shape kitchen with a diagonal wall which has pipes in.
2. As a result of low training, the measurements were incorrect and design did not fit! By this point! Order had already been placed before an installer survey check. Not protocol for selling a kitchen unless you want to be regarded in industry as Wren kitchens?
3. It should not be installer survey check to completely redesign a kitchen. They do not have the product knowledge of company components etc. However because it was already a paid order, there could only be one way to help and redesign kitchen.
I gave designer correct measurements and explained her design did not fit. We talked through proposed changes of layout with new measurements. Expecting the products to be changed to new layout and delete unnecessary components. Because it was already an order customer paid extra for the new design! Biggest issue from this has since come to light! Designer could not redo walls on articad and give us a new floor plan to check the new design was instigated correctly! There in every order comes an annotated floor plan explaining what each product is etc and fillers etc what products are supplied for each issue that may arise. This is a very important part of any designer selling a kitchen with no fitting issues.
3. We wanted to check when kitchen was being delivered as a difficult place to deliver too and wanted to help drivers with a smooth delivery. The paperwork supplied said to call the TK number provided and was told only the Range can contact them! Not a customer telephone number. Alarm bells started. Designer was on holiday and had no cover for anything that cropped up! That’s a disgrace in customer service experience.
4. Delivery arrived on time and was excellent other than they left the worktops downstairs on a trolley weighing over 100kg’s each.
They should have not been sold to customer because of access issues. Needed an extra 2 man delivery if you except this delivery. When placing an order delivery issues should be in notes for driver and dealt with accordingly and not just dump for anyone to steal, as no security etc.
5. It was known by designer that the customer had a single microwave combi oven and as there are many oven housings and different components for each. We were supplied with typeB. Which has no oven filler an leaves a 200mm plus hole if using the unit doors supplied! 645mm and 715mm.
Again lack of product knowledge and design experience. On annotations it should say, I have changed top door to line up with wall units and supplied a second 715mm door and delete a 645mm to fill space better. Also a oven filler supplied to fill any gaps. Very simple when you know how.
This error once supplied oven housing was built and put in, it was obvious the door would be better to bigger and a small filler to fill void was required. We called designer and store who was on holiday, eventually got hold of someone and was told they would order new door and we could return left over items that were supplied extra in error and get a refund!
6. Panels supplied with no annotations to explain why supplied, were not needed as the design changed because the oven wall was smaller than she measured, but she never took the 2 base end panels out as did not fit if she could have transferred new measurements from original one. The oven housing filler was a plinth as normal, but no a £200 plus extra tall panel was supplied. Totally uneconomical and unnecessary , again lack of knowledge of design and fitting experience.
7. So kitchen now in and waiting for this exchange of doors for top of oven housing. We were told it was ordered and waited until Tuesday. We never received door. Wendy the customer arranged a meeting with designer to bring items unused as did not fit, and get a refund and to find out where our door is?

Loads of small faults in units and…
Loads of small faults in units and pelmets such as dents and scratches. Complained to local store who asked for photos and then said they weren't clear enough but they refused to come and look at the kitchen. Complaints department wanted photos but when I explained I had already sent some to the local store (there are far too many faults to photograph them all) and that they were no good they accused me of refusing to send photos and that the local store would get in touch but they never have. Next step is either to go through Resolve or the small claims court.

Great experience at Jonas and James Stockport
As our first ever experience of purchasing a brand new kitchen we were both excited and apprehensive. After visiting several different companies our experience at the The Range in Stockport couldn’t have gone better, so our minds were made up. From start to finish, Colin listened to what we wanted, patiently changed the plans to suit our needs and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. The whole process from ordering to delivery went really well and whilst we did have one minor issue in relation to a damaged door which was noticed upon unpacking, Colin dealt with this very swiftly and was replaced in a little over 24hours with no additional charges. Thank you Colin for all of your help, we are really happy with our Jonas and James kitchen, we would definitely recommend.

I willingly walked into your show room here in Bury in January 2022 i openly discussed my order with Your sales person Chris .he recommended to me a fitter who was difficult to get hold of but finally he came visited my property end of April ..He looked at the kitchen and met my wife who also proposed some changes to the kitchen we had initially agreed to buy and the fitter took the plan back to Chris your sales guy so we agreed on the following with Chris and fitter
1.to meet with Chris after making changes to the plan and see if th changes will cost more from than the initial cost price (this was not done)
2.Since I was going to be on holiday the whole of August therefore the project was to progress in th last quarter dependent on
3.viewing the kitchen model on computer and agree that th proposed changes hv been made (this was not done)
4.pulling th old kitchen in prep for the new (this was not done )
4 The fitter and his electrician had recommended a number of changes needed to be done in the kitchen before the new one is fitted (this was done )
5 We were to agree on the date of delivery all being well (this was not done ) and surprise surprise on Thursday I got this automated text without any prior warning
"TKC KITCHEN DELIVERY - Your order 1409150 to BL99EX will be delivered on the 28/10/2022 between 08:16 and 10:16.
Thank you."
I thought this was a scam because I did not know who TKC is
No one from Jonas Alerted me even to check if I was ready to hv this huge delivery and remember its raining .
They on my property without my consent dropped this huge load in the drive way and left ...I was at work paper work left with my unsuspecting daughter working from home on the day was not signed
What business sense is this I walked as a customer willingly to buy from you . And besides I was on the phone Friday 28/10/2022
1st with customer services who said will phone me back they did not I phoned a Keith in Bury who acknowledged that the kitchen had been delivered to my property and when I explained to that I wasn't expecting it he said he new to the job since Chris had left in August however was going to phone me back to resolve the issue I waited the whole afternoon he did not .I then phoned customer service again and th lady I spoke to said well Keith (Bury) had told them that I had accepted th order and that I was going to look for storage which was a total fabrication. The lady said she can't do anything now except to wait for the manager and may be someone was give me a ring on Saturday (no one phoned me )
Monday 31st October I phoned customer service again in th morning and th lady she was on the case and will phone me back (she did not)
I phoned customer service in the afternoon and the lady said she was going to finish work at 1715hrs and will phone me back before going home (she didn't)
I phoned after 1730hrs no one answered my phone
I phoned Bury on Monday the whole day no one picked my phone
I ended going to Bury show room and was sales person had gone home I left a letter cancelling my order dated 31/10/2022
Tuesday 01/11/22 I waited the whole day for a call from the lady In customer service I got no call
From them even from Bury they did not acknowledge my letter I left on 31/10/22
I send my son to follow up on my letter with Bury branch and was told it had been faxed to head office and to expect response within 24hrs (nothing has come through yet )
Jonas & James I was a willing customer why did you do this why
May you please come collect uour items from my property i van not be an extension of your warehouse
Your customer service is really poor this was really unacceptable and unnecessary

Good service and kitchen planning advice
Even though there was no designer at the Nottingham store, Kirsty from the Doncaster store was happy to drive down and help me with measurements and designing my kitchen. Pleased with the quality of the cabinets and delivery, dropped a star due to an issue with the kitchen tap. Would recommend Kirsty if you're in the Doncaster area and looking for a new kitchen or need advice.

Please do not purchase from this company!!! Ordered new kitchen and mirostone worktops! They Ordered the wrong colour and wrong worktop!! Rang up and was initially told they may not exchange the worktop as i had signed the invoice. This was not my error it was theirs, they also ordered £100 of extra wood that was not used!! Its called cornice. Kitchen was fitted on the 4th october and i am still without worktop. Apparently what i initially ordered was discontinued months previous, but sample was still on shop floor to purchase. Eventually they agreed to exchange the worktop after i picked a different colour, to then be told they have found 2 pieces of the discontinued one i had originally picked. Was also told i would have to wait for another 4 weeks for delivery to which i refused and asked could they rush it through, due to having no workable kitchen, washing machine or sink!! Day comes for delivery only to be told by delivery men that the worktop was damaged and that i had apparently been sent an email of the damage and accepted the worktop with £100 refund! THIS WAS A LIE!! No correspondance from the company what so ever. Refused to accept this from the wagon!! Ended up going to the actual shop as no one ever answers the phone, had rang so many times with no avail. Kitchen itself is fitted with no complaints about the fitters! Done a great job! Shop Ended up reluctantly giving a full refund for worktops so to date i am without a functioning kitchen! And having to source worktops from elsewhere! Then to be rang again after refusing the worktops to see if i wanted them delivering again the next day with some refund!!! 20.10.22 AVOID!!!!!!!!this was jonas and james edge lane Liverpool.
Customer service is appaling, expecting me to wait another 4 weeks without a kitchen after nearly a month already. Asked for compensation and was refused!! Im using family and friends to do my washing and the laundrette as i do not want to run peoples bills up doing my washing for me! Going to a solicitor!

Appalling Aftercare and Customer Service
The afterservice from this Company or lack of it is absolutely unacceptable for such an expensive purchase. Kitchen was delivered on the 26th September and it’s taken over 2 weeks and over 40 phone calls, and that’s not an exaggeration, to try and get all the issues resolved. After being promised twice the last piece would arrive on Monday, and arranging fitters to be back on site it didn’t turn up. I had explained our scenario regarding paying extra for fitters to be on site, they simply lied to me advising it would definitely arrive on the Monday. It appeared on the Tuesday. We’ve had to pay fitters for 6 more days of work even though at least half of those were non productive as we waited on parts arriving. The communication is appalling, numerous phone calls are required to get anywhere. I’ve asked numerous times for a manager to call me back, still waiting. Charged for 2 x Microwaves. My last email was sent on Monday evening requesting a Manager call me and I’m still waiting on that call. It has not been a pleasant after experience dealing with this company, it’s been the most frustrating and stressful experience purely due to the poor communication and lack of customer care and understanding, it’s all one way traffic so be warned if you decide to purchase a kitchen through this company.
PLEASE DONT INSULT ME WITH THE FRIDGE!! THAT WAS YOUR ERROR AND NOT MINE. IT WAS ONLY NOTICED THE FRIDGE DIDNT GO THROUGH ON THE ORIGINAL ORDER AS IT WAS OUT OF STOCK AT THE TIME. BUT IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE WE WERE QUOTED AND AGREED ON, AND ARE PAYING! WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE SORTED AND NOT TOO WORRY, AND WAS ALSO PROMISED IT WAS SORTED THE WEEK BEFORE THE KITCHEN ARRIVED….BUT IT WASNT!! THAT WAS NOT THE REASON WHY YOU THINK ACCEPTABLE TO CHARGE ME FOR TWO MICROWAVES. I HAVE EMAILED TWICE THIS WEEK AND ALL I HAVE HAD IS A WHATSAPP MESSAGE THIS MORNING. APPALLING!
