As the other reviewers have said. Nowhere does it say that they are importing from China. I think when I ordered it said something like 2 left in stock or something like that, and then suddenly I get the dreaded tracking code and I find that I'm waiting for a Chinese import. When my overcoat arrived it had no labels and nothing to indicate the size. The size was definitely not the size I ordered, but how to prove otherwise when there are no labels on it! I too discovered this company on Pinterest. I will not be buying anything via a Pinterest ad again.

My experience echoes so many others below and like them, I am kicking myself that I didn’t check these reviews before ordering. I am being graced with scam-like options of 15% and then 30% refund or a 60% voucher to keep the items, or else I’ll have to pay £25 to return the item to China! Even though they profess to be a long established UK company. No doubt they’ll likely claim my return miraculously disappears in transit if I do send it off, so am now left in the lurch wondering what to do while £70 down….

I have purchased two jumpers which were not the same as the photo nor made in the fabric stated. I have been trying to return the items within the 14 day period specified, but keep receiving emails asking me if I want a 15% discount instead, then increased to 30% discount when I refused, or a voucher worth 60% of the purchase to use on the website. It feels strangely like a scam and I hope to be able to return the items normally, but if you are purchasing from this company be aware that returns are not free and the cost to return to china is payable by the customer. That's fine as is stated, but so far it feels odd not to be able to return easily without trying to be persuaded not to... hoping to get a response soon to confirm I can return and get a full refund.

Note: the ad for this site was on pinterest, who do take ad revenue from anyone who will pay. Don't trust pinterest ads [which is most of the site these days].
Jones&sons website operates a 'bait and switch' scam from China. They say they're based in Manchester, but if you look at the 'About us' page, products are sent from China.
The photo of the 'Era' sweater I ordered from the website was clearly excellent quality wool, and the blurb said "100% Australian wool". What arrived was different. 100% nasty synthetic and a different style. I asked for a refund, they asked me to send a video of the problem, which I duly did, and their response is copied below. It's the perfectly cheery message, gaslighting me and yet also leaving me powerless, and that is just how scammers like it:

We hope this email finds you well. Thank you for your recent order with us!
After careful verification, we can confirm that you have received the same product you ordered. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask us.

I can't believe that I didn't check the reviews for this company before ordering. It is a scam, the clothes look nothing like what is advertised on their website. The items are cheap synthetic Chinese crap. Do not order from this company!

As others have said please beware, I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing. I brought what I thought was a wool hoodie and when it arrived it was a cheap nylon version.
As I had to give a star I guess that could be for their communication after purchase, you are given the option to return the item tracked and with photos at your own cost, but as I explained to the company when you accept those terms you are led to believe that you are retuning to the uk and not to China.
You are offered other alternative all equally unacceptable, I don’t want more goods that are so poor quality they are likely to end up as landfill

Absolutely shocking. Don’t buy from this company. Scammers. I purchased a dress which looked very nice in the picture, in a small size. It turned up and was huge and badly made with no labels. I tried to return it but you have to return to China and they make the process extremely difficult for you. Don’t waste your money.

SCAM!! Like an idiot I didn't check the reviews for this company. An awful, fake, printed synthetic copy of the lovely jumper in the picture on the ad I saw just arrived. The return policy specificies that you need to return the item with a tracking code to China, at your own expense. Hard lessons learned

Absolutely horrific item sent. Clearly a complete scam. I never usually trust these sites and now wish I hadn’t. Arrived after three weeks not even in a box and absolutely batters. Made of the cheapest material ever. As some one else said that are so poor I wouldn’t even give to a charity shop. Now let’s see if I can get my money back. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE TOTAL SCAM COMPANY!!!

I bought ‘moccasins’ which took weeks and weeks to arrive…. Plastic with ‘leather’ and dreadfully wrapped. What a waste of £30 - I won’t even offer them to a charity shop. Straight in the bin. So wish I’d looked at the reviews first 🫣

I ordered a sweater and although it wasn’t exactly as it was pictured it is lovely, good quality and well made. It wasn’t cheap but I think worth the money I paid.

Their website looks like a London based business however they are shipping direct from Asia - poor quality shoes and no return / refunds available when emailed for return options offered include paying more money to replace said shoes -

DEFINITELY SCAM COMPANY VIA PINTEREST!!!! FAKE goods. China not UK company , USING various CO names Ie LILYROSE as potrayed in the adverts ie family business showing a 📍 pin to Manchester.. please do not be fooled. I would give 0 stars if it had the choice ..please add this option.

I ordered what I thought was a leather bag. I waited for my email confirmation after but nothing received. I emailed them 3 times over a week and no response at all, so at this point I knew it could only be a scam. I contacted my bank. It shows the money taken by GVP Marketing , which is not Jones and Son. I contacted PINTEREST to report also. They said they would investigate, although they cannot get into disputes, however to contact my bank.

Then a few days later a package bag turned up. It was nothing like the advert, ie leather bag, it smelt and looked shiny like Pvc, cheap and tacky. My friends looked and agreed.
I emailed the company to request a refund, to return goods.
They replied, (first correspondence), as still hadn't received any confirmation of order email of order by the way.
They tried to entice me not to return the goods and offered a discount of 15percent to keep the bag.
I replied the bag was not satisfactory, nor matched the advertisement on the ad. They did not send me a returns label but only replied again trying enticing me with a further bigger discount, voucher to use to purchase other goods.
I replied once again stating that I wanted a refund as per the 30 day money back guarantee they advertise.
Once again no returns label, so I didnt want to delay and decided to return back to the address I saw on the packaging via Post Office as I was getting no where. I emailed stating I had returned to the UK address via Post Office.
They replied after this stating that was not their address with a return label, stating I must now contact the post office to return to China, because it needs to be returned to a China address on return label ...they finally sent.

Now will report to Fraud.gov and police, bank.

As all previous and last reviews say, they are using UK looking company as a disguise. Extremely poor customer care. Something needs to be done to protect other innocent people from this false advertising. I notice this same product is advertised under various other company names on Pinterest. ALSO PINTEREST need to do more to help protect people.
Under Sale of goods Act, I believe they have falsely advertised goods.

I ordered a bag on Pinterest from a company called Jones and sons. The bag i ordered seemed to be supplied from a British company but all the goods in fact are from China using an English company's name as a front to gain trust and to make you part with your money
It is a Scam and I advise anyone seeing the advert for bags by Jones and sons on the Pinterest website not to touch it, because its a lie. I dare say what i will receive will be fit for the bin.
Pinterest needs to up its game and be more aware of how people are being conned out of money by companies in China. As for Pinterest i would not touch anymore, Also it seems this company in china has all my card details without me given them that info or permission to use it, i was not given the chance to fill in the details as the item jumped into the basket and the money was taken by sport or sportify, I am going to contact the police who deal with fraud to get advice regarding this company and see what can be done and how i can stop my card being used by them.
People be aware of Pinterest what you see is not what you get.
They as a company have a duty of care to the public, which they are not obviously applying.

Do not buy from this company. I recieve my ordered shoes, to find they don't fit ( too small) and the quality is fit for the bin.

I have messaged customer service twice and received no reply.

I feel duped.

Would give no stars if that was an option.

Product bears no resemblance to advertising. Cheap, horrid fabric quite different to that which I thought I’d ordered. Do not be conned.

As with other reviewers here I have been trying for weeks to initiate a return of a dress with this company. They do not reply to emails or any other form of contact. The dress itself is a poor fit and very poor quality and does not fit the description given on the site. DO NOT BUY from this company.

Waiting for email reply. Says based in Manchester but clothing is from China! Need to return a dress that is too big.

I have been trying to effect a return and refund for a dress purchased from this company for the last two weeks. All messages and emails to the company (which trades under the ticket TRST on the London Stock Exchange, but would appear to be based in China) have gone unanswered.
I believe the dress is not of merchandisable quality and that my consumer rights have been breached.
