2nd pair of boots by this brand and have to say they are not as comfy or soft as my first pair, 2nd wearing the eyelets came apart. :(. As it's coming into summer it will be a while before "break" them in . A little disappointed as my 1st pair were and still are fantastic.

The shoes are sturdy comfortable and supportive

Did Quick browse on website, it had really good clear pictures and placed order.
Delivery was 3days later..
Shoes are stylish and comfortable , plus suitable for work were I spend 10 hours on my feet …… Bliss

Super shoes. So soft and light. Delightful to wear. Really well made.

Bought the Jasper 50 mens chelsea boots, which I've now had for 2 years. The Suede still looks almost perfect afters lots of use, and the occasional brush, but the outersole is a bit soft. They've lasted me 2 years before I decided they needed resoling (which Josef Siebel recommends not doing), but I spent £35 getting stick on soles in a much harder rubber, so hopefully they'll last me another couple of years. So far so good.

I purchased my first pair of Josef siebel boots on a trip to Montreal Quebec at "Chaussures Berti". Within 3 months the back seam of my boots ripped open. I have never encountered this with any footwear I have ever owned. I went through all channels to rectify this issue by contacting the complaint department at josef siebel as well as the purchasing store. I had a credit card statement with the only purchase from this store. I was told because I didn't have an original receipt they couldn't help me. I am truly shocked at the poor quality of my boots as well as the poorest customer service.

I used to buy Josef seibel shoes and they were really good quality but my recent purchase is awful. The wood effect trim on the on the sambal boot heels has come off on both pairs and the sole is coming away on one. They are not the quality they once were, it is a shame and I won’t buy again.

I just got my first pair of shoes from this company. I always wanted a pair. They looked so cute leather riveted booties. I have only worn twice. The whole Side literally tore open and the rubber on the side of the soul completely fell apart. I am just devastated. I’ve wanted a pair for years. Finally get one and the quality is awful. Very poorly made.

Sole wore out and split within 8 weeks. They let rain in through the sides and top. Will never buy again!

I have worn Seibel shoes for many, many years. The quality used to be very good but recent purchase has changed my mind about the company's integrity. They sent me vegan boots, the site did not say anywhere these were not leather, After receiving this artificial fabric boots I scanned the site and the only way to figure it out was hidden in a small print in the cleaning method and fading, small, round mark at the very bottom of the page, hidden among many others. Won't buy again. Returned. They sent money back. The review left on the site boots were purchased from was not made visible.

I ordered my usual size and when the shoes arrived they didn’t fit. I could see stitching coming apart on the instep which I assume would grown into a hole if the shoes were worn. These shoes seem like they are counterfeit but I purchased them directly from the Josef Seibel website using an account I’ve had for years. I returned the shoes and will move to another shoe brand in the foreseeable future, by the looks of it this company has started using a low quality manufacturer in order to increase profit. Judging by the reviews it has backfired spectacularly.

Really bad quality shoes made in China. And you must pay for the return yourself. What a joke. I have learnt to tell the difference between genuine and fake trainers by the quality and these shoes were so obviously low quality when I got to look at them up close. Sort it out Josef, the people you have making your shoes have done you up like a kipper mate.

Terrible. Bought boots for my daughter for Christmas. Not even a month old and one zip is broken and the inner sole is worn through on the other. Such ashame as used to be excellent quality. Must have outsourced to cheap company. Just awful! Avoid!

Bought a pair of Westland boots last winter, which were so comfortable for the couple of months I wore them. When I got them out again this winter, the uppers are detaching from the soles and the water poured in. As others have said, Josef Seibel referred me to the retailer John Lewis who wouldn’t do anything. I liked the boots so much last winter that I bought a pair of JS leather trainers and the soles wore out within a few weeks. I’ve never known other footwear wear out like this. Shocking quality for the price.

Well, what a disappointment. Bought supposedly waterproof shoes. They are lovely but within a month are no longer waterproof.
The company will refund on return but if I want another pair I have to order. They won't send a replacement.
This is such a shame as they are comfortable but not fit for purpose.
The first response was I could spray them! They are meant to be waterproof!! Also specifically says don't spray them.
Avoid this company.

It's the worst shoe so far. I will never buy them again.
Bought two pairs two months apart. The first pair beautiful, lightweight, comfortable leather shoes. That's why I bought another pair. On both pairs soles broke after four months of light wear. Horror! Expensive horror!
Their answer is that sellers are held accountable for omissions. Well, who made a bad product! Quality and tradition....
I wish I had read the reviews before buying....

Zips were faulty, shoes uncomfortable, but you always have to pay for returns. Wish I hadn't purchased.

My wife has worn Josef Seibel shoes for years. Having just ordered a new pair similar to what she has when they arrived the design had changed and although they were the right size apparently they were vittually impossible to put on as the heel area was too tight . They were returned and a refund was issued withiut any problems.

Dreadful quality. The soles disintegrate after three months of light use. The laces disintegrate quicker. This has happened to me with three pairs in 9 months. Thankfully, I kept the receipt (so Charles Clinkard, the shop I bought the original pair from, replaced them twice). Still not even close to being worth the money. Do not buy!

I have bought the Josef Seibel Max mule slip on slippers for many many years. The first pair is still in use near the back door for popping on to do a bin run etc.. I have a pair at work to slip on if I was to be in work boots and need to go in office!
They are more than an in door only slipper, great foot wear.
