Great Customer Service
Placed an order which arrived before due date, which was good, but unfortunately arrived with some minor damage. Expecting the worst I emailed the customer service team who turned out to be the most efficient I've ever come across from a web based company. Resolution to the problem was rapid and to my absolute satisfaction. Great job!

An easy-to-navigate website featuring interesting furniture and accessories carefully themed for maximum style impact. Purchasing is simple and delivery was quick - the courier also called up first to make sure I was in to take the parcel. Would definitely use again!

My recent experience was rather positive despite one article not arriving in the shipment, one email, and a new one was on it's way. Having had articles go missing from previous companies on more than one occasion made me wary but the follow up service was much appreciated and prompt.
Have I been unlucky?
Joss & Main are still having teething problems. I had various problems with my first purchase which was eventually settled to my satisfaction but probably at some cost to Joss and Main.
I recently went to make a small purchase which should be delivered free as it was within 30 days of my last order, but at the till I was going to be charged a silly sum for delivery of a cushion cover. I contacted customer services and was told I could pay for the delivery and have it refunded later as this was another problem being resolved on their website.
I haven't been put off yet though as there are some lovely, unusual items that come up in their sales.

Very disappointed
Received order while I was away not realising I only had 14 days to return. Unfortunately, the products were not as they appeared on the website but couldn't send them back because it was too late! However, all communications with Joss and Main were polite and courteous and I do have to bear some responsibility for this as I shouldn't have assumed there was 30 days to return as with most companies. So for other shoppers just be aware if you don't like your purchase, send it back as soon as possible.

Some good stuff but a bit tooooo exclusive
Joss & Main have some very desirable pieces of furniture and accessories no doubt. I have bought a beautiful accent table from there as well as a pair of lamps. But I have a few issues wh/ I hope they look into.
1/ the prices can be quite excessive often bordering on ridiculous.
2/ Often the item being sold is not the same as the item being pictured; just 5 minutes ago I saw a pic of a gorgeous rug, but when I looked at the dimensions it was a runner and its picture was not displayed. Obviously a runner is going to have a different design to fit its specific dimensions, but customers are expected to buy it without seeing its picture.
3/ Because many items need a setting to get a good idea of their dimensions and appearance, J&M need to show a pic of the item on its own as well as in a setting, the way you'd get in a catalogue.
4/ Items are only available for a limited period so if you have a Q about the item by the time customer service has answered ur query the item is no longer for sale!
5/ The returns policy is very unclear: "can be returned within 14 days" for what - an exchange, a credit note, a full refund??? I like honesty in a company, a complete "black n white, here is the full terms n conditions, no gray areas" policy. With internet shopping its essential to know all the details before making a purchase.
After all that I'd like to just add that delivery has never been a problem - items always arrived in good time n good condition well packed. Thanks for that.
Im sure I'll be buying from them again wh/ means I'd recommend to others too. But the above concerns need to be seriously looked into as well.

NOT HONOURING ORDERS!
I made three orders today - drawers, a bookcase and a bedside table. I then got emails to say they had got the prices wrong. I replied with the Sale of Goods Act details. Then I got emails saying they didn't have the items in stock.
Make up your mind Joss and Main. If you take money and send a confirmation - honour that order!
Or get your act together.
Really disappointed 'nearly customer'.

Very unimpressed
Found a sofa I loved (after months of searching), placed my order and got confirmation it had gone through. Half an hour later received an email with no explanation saying it had been cancelled. I called them and was told that due to a 'pricing error' they couldn't sell it to me and when I asked how much it was in case I could afford to make up the difference was told it wasn't available in a very unhelpful manner. The sofa is still showing on the website as 'sold out' at the price I paid which makes me question if they actually are discounted items or if they just make up prices to appear attractive and then cancel orders if the thing turns out to be too cheap. Very unimpressed by this company - I thought as they were American they would have good customer service.

Good products, wish you didn't use UPS
Hi, everything was fine about the items I purchased and I find the policy of free postage after your first order strange but good. However, as with other online sellers you use UPS for delivery. I have never found their service very helpful and their drivers tend to ignore the instructions left for them and just leave another missed delivery leaflet.

Quick, quality, good price
Bought a small wall print (approx 20x20 cm) for a very fair price, it arrived promptly, carefully rolled into a sturdy tube. The print was just as it appeared and was described on the site. Very pleased, will buy from here again when something else in my price range comes up!
Poor logistics, disappointing products.
Shipping is very slow. Items that show as in stock are often not actually in stock and take a long time to be shipped. They use a poor shipping service that doesn't have tracking or website access so you have to call and wait on hold to find out anything. This is super inconvenient as I work full time and travel a lot. I need to be able to reasonably predict when parcels will arrive. The products aren't always as pictured. For example, a basket I ordered came smashed flat (on purpose, apparently) and the instructions said to wet and re-shape. Well that didn't work. Now I have a very misshapen basket with sides that don't stand up. I'll probably end up tossing it as it looks awful.
FANTASTIC choice of interesting items and some not expensive.
