Poor Customer service from Joss and Main
Ordered a sofa which was supposed to arrive On Monday but never showed up as was apparently damaged in transit by the courier. Item was re-ordered for delivery Thursday and despite being given assurances that courier would contact me, they did not do so and then never showed up in the alloted time slot. They did not leave a card or try and make contact with me for further re-delivery. I have now called Joss and Main customer service 4 times yet they cannot tell me the item is and will not put me through to their freight department.
I have thus paid for something but cannot get delivery of it as the courier has no number and doesn't respond to emails while Joss and Main will not escalate it.
1 star is generous for the worst customer experience I have ever had, which is amazing given I have been living in Africa for 4 years

Ordered 6 weeks ago - delivery date passed and still no sign
Some interesting things but website made me think you can get £20 off for liking on Facebook. Not unless someone buys something apparently. Don't know how they know anyway. Couldn't get any answer on this and missed out on item. My current order went in over 6 weeks ago and still no sign of it. Won't bother again. Overpriced too.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a samark, wool, hand made, hand woven rug. I received a Samarkand polypropylene machine woven rug. Their explanation that the item was wrongly described, they have apologised and collection will be free. I now have the inconvenience of waiting for collection over the next three days. My concerns are for all their other customers who purchased this item and may not be aware of the issue. I wonder if joss and main will be notifying all their customs who purchased this item.

excellent products and customer service
Not only did I find a fabulous stool I love ❤ love on the website it was also an amazing price. The customer service is fab too with emails and texts (with links that actually worked) to arrange delivery, it even arrived a day ahead of time too. Item was Well packaged (in fact the box was so big my toddler is now using it as a den) and the stool looks great in my sitting room. Highly recommend this website and will definitely be adding them to my favourites.
Very poor
Am afraid I am still struggling to reach a satisfactory outcome with this company over my first order of a bed after 3 weeks of aggravation. The bed was sent without screws, a replacement pack was sent out exactly the same and the second replacement pack included some, but not all, of the required screws and bolts, which even my excellent hardware store could not source.
My recent request for a return and refund was greeted with an automated response saying yet another replacement part was on it's way. There are no contact phone details on the website - seems to me like another faceless organisation with no regard for customer service. Triumph of style over substance.

We ordered a couple of table lamps which are very attractive and of high quality. Joss and Main also provided a fantastic service with a good courier who actually gave us an estimated time of delivery which is brilliant. Take note other companies!

Took delivery of a set of Fallen Fruits Louise Planters. On unpacking, the larger planter was damaged and would have needed repair to be functional. After contacting Customer Services I can only say that the service was First Class. A further complete set was sent out within days with a no return on the first set. How is that for trusting a company. Would recommend as the team appear to be on the ball for customer satisfaction. Would definitely deal with again.

I have ordered a few things from Joss & Main and so far so good, the products have been as listed and good quality, the prices good and delivery on time. The last time I ordered I accidentally requested it to be sent to the wrong address, I emailed them and even though it had already been dispatched they still got it forwarded on to the correct place. I would use them again without a doubt.
Brilliant Customer Service
Sadly had to return coffee table which was unsuitable. Although there were problems with third party delivery company I was treated so well by the Joss & Main customer service who sorted everything out and gave me a full refund without quibble. Had anticipated major hassle when item went astray but J&M were fabulous. Highly recommend this friendly company.

I can honestly say that my experience with shopping through Joss & Main has been really positive.
I love the website and the extensive choice of products (a little too distracting at times!) and I feel their prices are more competitive than similar sites like Achica and Swoon Editions.
I recently ordered 2 mirrored glass bedside tables that arrived within days. I was nervous to open them as usually these items don't withstand heavy handed couriers, but the packaging was excellent. The units were boxed and in addition had been bubble wrapped and cellophane shrink wrapped and were in perfect condition. I love them!! I saw them a few days later on Achica for £90 dearer too.
I have recently ordered a rug that again was delivered very quickly - I've just not had chance to open it yet.
Would happily shop again!
Avoid...not as described. Misleading waste of my time
Bought and paid for 11 trays (the advert stated this 3 times!) Received 1. Asked for the other 11 (I have a screenshot that proved they advertised the item as being sold as a set of 11 trays) and they have refused to provide them. Now I have to waste my own time returning the tray for a refund and bother to repackage it and walk to the collect plus shop 1.5km away or stay in all day waiting for their courier. I will never bother with them again (this was my first order, normally I use achica who are reliable). AVOID.

Visting and buying items on line from Joss & Main
I am surprised at some of the negative comments about Joss & Main. I have, over the last few weeks, bought several items - all brilliant and delivered as promised within the dates outlined. Items packed well and thrilled with them all. Also, when I emailed with a query I had a very quick, efficient and nice reply, which answered my query - also pointing out, which I had not asked about - an item outstanding had arrived in the warehouse. So I think Joss & Main are fabulous and good fun scrolling through all the delicious tempting things to buy or just dream about !

I am SO disappointed and stressed by the non service from Joss and Main. I loved this site and its presentation, and given that it's affiliated with Wayfair and has a predecessor in the states, Joss and Main.com, I believed these guys could be trusted. Not so.
First lesson/sign: you cannot call these people. Searching high and low on the site yields only an email address which appears to be only selectively functional and responsive.
My first and only purchase was a chair of £340 purchased just before the new year and due to be dispatched on the 1st of April. I waited very patiently till that date with no word at all EVER from them and then contacted them, to absolutely no response.
The next day, I wrote again.
Somebody sent me this response.
'I have asked our warehouse to check whether the item has been handed over... Should we find out that your order was lost in transit, we will of course order a replacement for you.'
Slightly dubious as to how you could lose an armchair in transit and the prospect of waiting another 3 months for a replacement, I replied that I did not have another 3 months and that i would appreciate a response in less time than the 5 days they proposed I had to wait before getting a response.
They were supposed to come back tor today and nada.
It's instructive that there is no number at all to reach these people on and you don't notice till you are in a mess like this. Emailing is uncertain in their world, it would appear and I think businesses that seem to have no pride or accountability like this should not be allowed.
I am going to have to ask for my money back after better than 3 months of it sitting in their accounts, but we shop online because it's supposed to be seamless and easier. I don't have time to go chasing shops like this.
Oddly enough, I had very nearly made several other purchases from this site as I really liked it but was cautious and thought I would wait till they had delivered the first order. Thank God for that!
I will update this site with how quickly I am able to get my money back or my armchair in lieu, but I would advise that you do not allow yourself to be seduced by the site and the ease of ordering. These are in stark contrast to the lack of communication and transparency and basic customer service on the other side of the transaction! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Happy with service and products
I've bought several items from Joss & Main over the last year or so. With the exception of a couple of items which sold out very quickly, with one being unavailable after the order had been completed, which was very disappointing, I have been pleased with the service provided by J&M: quality of the products - true to pictures and descriptions, the delivery and information from J&M when things were delayed or out of stock. I will certainly use them again as they offer a wide range of products, that fall into my price range and the service has been professional and friendly.
