Terrible marketing/privacy practices

Terrible marketing/privacy practices – will share your data with several "sister companies" even if you just sign up for an in-stock notification. Will never do business with this company or their affiliates.

When you ask them to delete your data, they will tell you to call them – creating an unncessary barrier when they obtained the data from a different party in the first place.

I ordered a bed that came damaged

I ordered a bed that came damaged. Attempted to contact Joss/Main twice about the order with no response or resolution. I then left a review about the damage and customer service and the review was posted with my rating but none of the text or photos were included. I would avoid Joss & Main and will never purchase from them again.

I tried it and had high hopes for it.

I tried it and had high hopes for it, but it lacks reliability. I ordered a few items from them of good quality, but after two months, I am still missing half of the order. Very inconvenient. No luck with getting a straight date on when to expect the rest of the bed frame. Wrong items sent and never got a resolution of how to return it.

Never mind. Never buying anything from Wayfair again!!

Second and final update: we are done with Wayfair. Never buying anything again. After another purchased, we wanted to modify order. Within the 24 hour cancelation period. Took forever to reach someone on the phone. After an hour was promised a call from their “care team” who never bothered to call.

So now we’re left with something we don’t want.

There are better options out there to purchase anything Wayfair sells with more fare practices and much better customer service.

Good bye Wayfair!!

Updating review - got the bed. It’s gorgeous. And surprisingly easy to put together. My husband did it by himself in less than an hour. And it’s king size. Still disappointed with customer service. So please take note.

extremely unreliable

i ordered an outdoor fire pit. They keep telling me the item has shipped but the delivery date has changed twice already. it has been 3 weeks now.
contacted Fedex who said they haven't received the-item yet.
they didnt mind taking my money right away
im not sure i will ever receive it

Horrible inventory control, logistics planning and customer service

My God, I ordered a patio sofa set from Joss & Main in May thinking that I'll get it by June. I was never alerted that it was out of stock and back-ordered. First I was told I'd get the product by 6/10. When I didn't hear anything, I had to call them to find out what's going on. Then they told me that I would get the product by 7/2. Then a week later, I get an email it's 7/25. Today I get an email saying it's coming 8/4. I canceled. What an unprofessional firm. I'll never buy from them. And to think they charged full price and had access to my money for almost 3 months.

Terrible issues with inventory…

Terrible issues with inventory management. I ordered an outdoor chaise lounge set on June 8, 2020 and it said it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery with an estimated delivery of July 6. I checked the status on July 6 and now it says it's backordered and will be delivered July 31 - Aug 7th. I was ok waiting the initial 3-4 weeks but now it's somehow out of stock and it will be another month? Summer will be over by the time I get my item. Don't order from Joss and Main or Wayfair or any of their sister companies. When I called to cancel my order they didn't even offer me any solutions or apologize. How about fix your inventory management system so you don't oversell products that you don't even have.

Do not order from Joss & Main. I wish I would have come here and read these reviews before ordering. I placed an order with them based entirely on their delivery date as I wanted it soon (outdoor furniture). Even yesterday it said it was being delivered today, now today comes and it says I won't get it for over 2 months! Total scam. Now my other options at more reputable places are gone too.

Horrible experience

Hold time no less than 1 hour on 5 different occasions. Delayed shipment 3 times, account charged twice, claimed my email was incorrect which is why I was not receiving shipment updates, yet I was receiving every “purchase this email”. Never received an apology, will never purchase from here again.

My product arrived in a timely manner…

My product arrived in a timely manner and looks as described on the website, so overall I’ve had a decent experience with Joss and Main. My issue was the shipping and delivery, the package showed up in the cheapest little envelope (not even a box - I purchased a sheet set) and the envelope was so dirty and in such bad shape that the labels were unrecognizable. I didn’t even think it was my sheets at first, I figured it was something I had bought off Etsy or Poshmark. With the proposed quality and pricing of Joss and Mains products, I thought this shipping and packaging could have been better.

First thing first

First thing first , Joss and main is Wayfair !! I had a question and I was on the phone for 1hr before wayfair answered. My purchase was incomplete and dirty. Nothing I could do !! It's cheap, not with your money. Came in 2 shipments and can never get right information.

PROBLEM #1

PROBLEM #1. They use Fed Ex - so your order is going to be very late and delayed multiple times. Worst service I have ever dealt with.

#2 Joss & main has nice customer service. But that doesn't really matter because they cannot deliver THEIR MERCHANDISE as advertised.

Recomendation: order elsewhere if you want your orders delivered. I still have not received mine as of this review.

Horrible delivery process.

So I order a patio set from Joss and Main back in May 4th, and they mark it as ready for delivery on Tuesday May 26th. They sent me a text message saying they will be delivering between 7am 1am that day! I sit here the whole day waiting, then I had to call them at 3pm to find out that their truck broke down and they couldn’t deliver! Ok, so now I am angry at not being called to reschedule and me having to sit on the phone waiting for 30 min to get that answer. Well they end up rescheduling for May 28th between 7am - 5pm! And they gave me $160 off my order!
Ok so now it is today and AGAIN they screwed up the delivery!! This time I call them at 3:00pm and after 45 minuted on the phone she tells me this time that they couldn’t fit all my boxes in the truck and couldn’t deliver it again today!! Once again, no call, no info, no nothing, and another wasted day.
All I know is I told them to keep the set and I will NEVER order anything from Joss and Main again! That was the most unprofessional transaction ever! They wasted my time, and money! I will never order anything from them and whomever does their warehousing should be fired!

I refuse to do business with this…

I refuse to do business with this company. I purchased a bed and specifically requested doorway entry delivery due to the fact that I live in a apartment on the second floor and my husband is disabled and cannot possibly pick up a bed. Next thing I know, my bed was delivered and left outside by the curb next to the neighbors garage. I was not contacted with any notice of my delivery being dropped off nor a window of time to receive it.

I demanded them to pick it up immediately since no one was home to receive it or move it and it was in danger of being stolen or damaged. Then they stated I would be responsible for any damages to the merchandise when they pick it up the next day. WHO IS GOING TO SECURE THE MERCHANDISE WHEN NO ONE IS HOME OR ABLE TO MOVE THE PRODUCT!? I could not believe how negligent this company was. I saved money for three years to purchase a nice bed and they leave it outside in the curb with no regard for the care of the merchandise or the customers needs. Amazon doesn't even leave my dollar phone cases with such disregard! I always know a time and am given a proper notice to ensure I am aware of my delivery. I am sorry, I do not want to be so negative but I am shocked that any business could ever think this is acceptable. Oh then they want to add a delivery charge for my return....GET OUT OF HERE! You dumped my bed on the curb so come pick it up on the curb where you left it.

Terrible - delayed delayed delayed

Terrible. They have pushed my order date back twice now and with no updates. I expected my package to arrive today as the second push back date however the status still says “backorder” and it’s been over a month. Almost two! You cannot call them. Not worth the wait in my opinion and very frustrating. When I placed the order is said 7-10 business days.. it’s been over 30.

I only give three stars because every time I speak with someone at customer service, they are very polite, even as I get more and more frustrated (and I don't want to shoot the messenger, as I think the problem is in the finance department and general management of this company). I ordered 2 sets of barstools and once they arrived, determined they didn't really fit the space so I returned them. I was told the items were delivered back to the warehouse, and then waited like 10 days to see about the refund being issued. Nothing -- so I called. They then said they were pushing the refund through, and had to call again to see what was going on. Then got a refund for only ONE set of the barstools, so I called again. They then assure me that they have received both sets, and I'll be getting the second set of barstools refunded without paying the return shipping. The email I receive tells me that my refund will be processed ONCE THE ITEMS ARE RECEIVED. So I called back again. I've been told the refund has been expedited, that they have received the items, etc. So.. we'll see.
